Liberty Pools – Pool Construction & Renovation Contractor

We had a fantastic experience with Liberty pools and can't recommend this company highly enough. Their services included installing new pavers, resurfacing our exiting pool and adding new features (infinity edge, bench, sundeck, jets and bubbler), installing a freestanding louvered pergola, extending paved area to include extra deck space and pathway to gate, and handling HOA documentation, applications and permits. We first started with the design process of walking us through optional features and layout ideas based off our house and backyard, along with potential HOA restrictions. Our house is located on a cul-de-sac which makes the design process more challenging due to the asymmetry of our lot. Our designer Lucas was very patient and knowledgeable, and presented us with multiple samples and photos, while helping us stay within our budget. He was also very accommodating when it came to making changes to the plan and was able to quickly incorporate them into our 3D plan which was extremely helpful when trying to visualize the project. Once the plan was finalized, the HOA approval/ permit process began. Carol did a fantastic job communicating the progress of this process and submitting the required documentation. We had some unexpected issues related to the pergola permit, for which Liberty was able to provide a great solution that saved us money and allowed us to obtain the permit and proceed with our original plan. Once the permit was obtained, the actual work began, and we were blown away by the quick progress of the project and quality of work. Gustavo, Marcelo and Bryan were leading the project, making sure that everything was executed according to plan and to the highest standards. The team was on time, efficient and professional and we were very happy with the quality of their work and attention to details. There was also great communication throughout this process, informing us on every step of the project and what it entails, including the finance aspect which was very clear and organized (managed by Amanda). We are beyond thrilled with our pool/outdoor space and appreciate all the hard work and efforts that went into this project. We would highly recommend Liberty Pools to anyone looking to enhance their outdoor living space. I would highly recommend Liberty Pools to anyone who wanted to add a spa to their existing pool !! We obtained numerous quotes and designs from other companies and they all wanted to remove the screen enclosure, drain and cut into the pool. We simply wanted to construct a spa outside of the pool and plumb it in with a waterfall spillover. Liberty was able to me our design needs. Lucas was easy and great to work with, we couldn't ask for a better project manager. Any questions we had were promptly answered. Liberty provided us with weekly emails listing what work was going to be performed that week. The spa was hand dug with screen enclosure left in place. Because of this, their quote was 2-3X less expensive than the others, and they had great reviews. The pictures below don't do it justice. The finished spa looks like it was installed during the initial pool construction. Both the paver coping and pool tiles match perfectly. We didn't like the initial tile spillover, so we had a custom piece of granite installed for the waterfall spillover. All pavers removed for plumbing were replaced to initial conditions. It took about 8 weeks to complete, which was great, considering it was during the end of the year holidays. Liberty obtained all permits. All city inspections, numerous, were promptly conducted at Liberty's request and were completed and passed without any issues or holdups. The construction phase was a little messy at times, as expected, but the finished product was definitely worth it!! The pool and spa automation equipment that they installed works perfectly with the phone app. I look forward to having them redo my pool decking when the time comes.
