Overall, the pool is exactly how I pictured it in my head, It’s my first pool so it was very exciting watching it. Come together. All the workers were courteous, polite cleaned up after themselves every day when they came here to work the rock waterfall feature exceeded my expectations. Well, actually the whole pool did. Except for the first step out of the hot tub is 20 inches. and with double knee replacements it’s very difficult to get out of. I’ve asked for solutions to this now that it’s done. And have no success in getting an answer for that. As well as how to winterize it. That question was asked almost a month ago. Still no answer.
At the start being a little rocky because of Aloha not being responsive to phone calls. But management changes were made and they have had a 180 degree turn around by hiring Amber. When I call she is very responsive to my needs and wants! Now it takes awhile to get a pool built but I am totally satisfied with the construction and looks of the final product. Love our pool!! Update we just had the Screenlogic Automation control installed. This system gives you complete control of your pool, lights, spat, etc. You can control your pool remotely from anywhere! Highly recommend this system
Aloha Custom Pool weekly pool cleaning service is the best I have used in the Crystal River area. I highly recommend their pool cleaning service! Alex is an outstanding professional who is reliable and knowledgeable. He works will with my Airbnb renters. I have only had one occasion to need Aloha Custom Pool equipment repair service. It was not prompt, a couple days wait time, so I went to another service provider for a quick pool heater fix that was done the same day.
We had a small crack forming in our jacuzzi and asked Aloha if they could come look at it to assess a repair. Brian came out the next day and took a look, gave us an estimate, and we proceeded with the repair. His crews were great, very knowledgeable in their craft, and repaired the crack and resurfaced the jacuzzi in short order. It looks great and I'd definitely call them again if I needed anything. Thanks Aloha Pools!
We contracted Aloha Pool Inc. of Homosassa, FL, in June 2021 to build our pool project at a total cost of $140,000, which should have been finished in February or March. Unfortunately for us, the contractor is deceptive and unethical. We had previously built a pool, so we knew exactly what we wanted down to finishes, colors, and style; all was captured on the contract. We never imagined that the contractor would arbitrarily make decisions different from the contract, including the type of screen enclosure and the inside pool color opposite our choice. The response to a clearly defined Mansard roof screen enclosure in the contract was that it was ambiguous. Nothing ambiguous about a mansard screen roof, it was requested for a reason($28,000 to fix it now). What we end up with is a customized half a mansard roof. Worse, the contractor demanded full payment before all the pool equipment was installed and working. As of October 9th, 2022, we have a fire pit that has never worked and was installed incorrectly no vent for natural gas to escape and water to drain; two fire bowls were not installed correctly either and cannot be run without risk to our family. No resolution on the wrong pool color or the wrong screen enclosure; the spa does not work, gas lines have been installed that haven’t been inspected, and the enclosure hasn’t been inspected even though wrong design. And to top it off, he put a lien on our house because he said full contract payment due once they put water in the pool June 2022 (regardless if anything else is done or working) and AFTER we made the final payment. We are still trying to get that lien removed. This contractor must have done this to other customers, you just have to look at his response to our Better Business Bureau complaint – this is not the first time he has done this. And even though he legally must complete the contract, he has disappeared. We will have to pay to resolve all the issues. This contractor took away the joy and excitement of building our dream pool.
Brian came to our home to discuss pool construction in October of 2020. At that time Brian told us it would be February of 2021 at the earliest to begin construction. We heard nothing from them in February of 2021 so we contacted them in March of 2021. We were told at that time they could not meet with us until April 22nd. Brian again comes to our home on April 22nd and remembers meeting us in October of 2020 and admits he forgot us and will get us worked into his schedule. After some negotiation we make a final plan and are asked to sign the contract and make color choices. We met with Deb at their office on June 2nd 2021 and were told construction won't begin for another six months (December 2021). Construction will take three months. After making my feelings about the timeline known I was told they may be able to do it sooner, but was not given anything more than that. I will be able to use my pool in March of 2022 if they adhere to this schedule. This is 17 months after contacting company in October of 2020. This isn't working us into your schedule. This is putting us at the end of the line. How you got voted best of Citrus County when you forget about customers and admit you forgot them?
