We recently completed a brand-new pool build at our primary residence in Montverde, Florida, and choosing Central Florida Pools was absolutely the right decision. The project included a 34’ x 9’ pool with depths ranging from 3.5’ to 7’, dark plaster with glass tile, a 6-foot sun shelf with bubbler, a rear bench in the deep end, full automation, a screen enclosure, fencing, and marble decking that extends around the entire pool and our existing covered lanai. The finished product is stunning and exactly what we envisioned. The entire build was completed in just under three months. While we experienced some unavoidable weather delays, communication throughout the process was excellent. We always knew what was happening and what to expect next. Gabriel, our project manager, was outstanding—frequently on site, closely inspecting the work, and never hesitant to step in and help the crews directly. His attention to detail and hands-on approach made a huge difference. The crews themselves were friendly, professional, and kept the site very clean. We did encounter a complication with the marble decking due to soil conditions, and this is where Central Florida Pools truly stood out. They were extremely responsive, took ownership of the issue immediately, and remediated it without any pushback. Their focus was clearly on making sure we were 100% satisfied, and they followed through. From Carlos during the sales process to Gabriel and his entire crew during construction, the experience was smooth, professional, and genuinely pleasant. We are very happy with the final result and would choose Central Florida Pools again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Central Florida Pools was an absolute pleasure to work with. They built us a beautiful, functional and affordable pool. We shopped around quite a bit before settling on a pool company. Their quote was for better quality materials and lower prices than any other quote received. We greatly appreciated their willingness to be upfront with us about price. Many of the other pool quotes we received before Central Florida Pools had hidden upgrades, charges, surprise costs, etc. Together they helped us create exactly what we wanted. They were extremely easy to work with. Our pool was completed WAY before other pool companies could complete them. On time and on budget! I recommend them to all my family and friends looking to build a pool. Carlos is great at helping create your dream pool without it feeling like you’re being sold to. And Gabe has gone above and beyond every step of the way. He made us feel like he truly cared how our pool turned out and that we were happy with our pool. We felt very comfortable with all the workers who came to work on our project as well. If you’re looking for your new pool company, I urge you to give these guys a try!

Absolutely thrilled with our new pool and the amazing team behind it! From start to finish, working with Central Florida Pools was an absolute pleasure! From the very first meeting with Edu, who made the initial process a breeze (and answered every single one of our many questions with patience and a smile!), to Gabriel, our incredible project manager, who ran the entire build like clockwork. Everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. What really stood out to us was their transparency and communication throughout the whole process. We always knew what was happening, what to expect next, and there were zero surprises (except for how fast everything got done!). Gabriel kept us updated every step of the way, and his attention to detail made all the difference. The team delivered our pool on time, kept the site tidy, and made sure we felt comfortable and confident from start to finish. Huge thanks to Gabriel, Edu, and the entire crew for making this experience so easy, enjoyable, and stress-free. If you’re thinking about getting a pool, look no further, these are the people you want on your team!

We had a great experience building our pool and spa with Central Florida Pools. From the very first visit from Carlos to scope the work and present us with ideas and options, throughout the whole construction process, handled magnificently well by Gabriel, we were kept informed and updated regularly about the progress and next steps. I have to also stress the amazing job done with the glass tile installation (Regis and Richard are excellent and pay attention to the smallest details). Just like any construction project, things eventually happen along the process, that may require some replanning or accommodations, but when you partner with a team that is invested in doing things right, it goes as smooth as it gets. We couldn’t be more pleased with the final result. Our pool is looking fantastic, and even the contractors CFP hires for some of the activities are top notch - honorable mention to the folks who did our deck. Keep it up, guys!

DO NOT BUILD YOUR POOL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! They are horrible. They use sub-contractors for every thing and have no control over time or quality. They give you a price, and as construction goes on, they come up with tons of things they did not anticipate and increase the cost of your pool significantly. You already have a hole in the ground, so you go on with the project. Then they procrastinate with every step and never keep you on the loop of what is going on. Pool construction takes over 14 months. After they are done and you have pay them in full, they disappear and do not take accountability for any issue you have. They do not even respond to your texts or phone calls. I am also filing a claim with the BBB. They should not be in this business. They do not know what they are doing!!!!

About Central Florida Pools

Central Florida Pools is a Florida pool builder based in Winter Garden with a documented permit record on public record — an active, verifiable operator whose track record shows in the data, not just the marketing.

Company Snapshot

Central Florida Pools, based in Winter Garden, has held Certified Pool/Spa Contractor license CPC049405 since 1989 — the longest continuously active license among comparable builders in this dataset — under qualifier Bernard Goralnick.

Specialties & Service Area

Permit records document a documented set of permits, and the mix leans toward renovation and service work — pool alterations, general repairs, and low-voltage electrical permits together outnumber new-construction permits, though 13 new pool builds are directly on record with recent project values frequently landing in the $150,000 to $670,000 range. Recorded projects reach across the greater Orlando area, including Crescent Park, East Park, West Colonial, and Meridian Park, suggesting a service radius that covers most of the west Orange County growth corridor rather than a single neighborhood.

What Customers Say

Central Florida Pools carries the strongest review profile in this batch: 4.9 stars across 87 Google reviews, with recommend, crew, and communication showing up as the most frequent praise themes by a wide margin, and beautiful and quality close behind. One detailed recent review of a Montverde build — a 34-foot pool with dark plaster, glass tile, and a full screen enclosure — credits project manager Gabriel by name for frequent, hands-on site inspection, and specifically describes the company taking full ownership of a marble-decking complication caused by soil conditions and fixing it without pushback. The record isn't spotless: one older review describes a 14-month build marked by subcontractor turnover, unplanned cost increases, and a company the reviewer says went silent after final payment. For a builder with this much volume and this consistent a positive pattern, that account reads as the exception rather than the rule.

Bottom Line

Central Florida Pools pairs the oldest continuously active license in this dataset with a large, high-value permit history and the strongest review average among comparable local builders — a combination of longevity, documented project scale, and customer sentiment that few other contractors in this market can match.
