Ok before I start it's important to understand I am a difficult person to do work for, I want things done right and built to last and to that end I will do research and use consultants to verify things are being done that way. Before I contacted Paradise pools by Design I was in talks with a few other builders already, a lot of things I wanted to do seemed abstract to them and they didn't have good examples of what I was going for, their renditions of my design to bring it to code always made it a lot less and i wasn't excited to move forward. Then Tod Brown from paradise pools came by to quote the project and see what i wanted to do, he really looked at the space for a long while and didn't say too much besides he needed to check with the city on certain things then he will be back with a proposal. He returned days later with a design that was better than mine by far, he researched permeability of my yard and was able to make the pool area much larger and worked a amazing kid friendly beach entry from the screen door side, he also had 7’ rockwork built in a way that supported a great deck area with firepit for sitting outside or under cover and nice slide. I agreed that day even though it was more money than the other builders. Tod really impressed me with his involvement throughout the project as I have had pools built before and never saw anything like this. They began digging pretty fast after the homeowner association gave us a hard time, Tod even had to make a landscape design that was needed for approval in a pinch. Gator my supervisor was onsite allot, this was far better than supervisors in other projects because i hardly ever saw them. He did a good job for the most part, much better than I expected from a pool company. My deck footer was being rebarred and I noticed they were not rebaring my deck as a whole. I was concerned that I wanted it changed and Wes the owner called me and gave me a good price and made it happen. The owners were at my site a few times to make sure things went right and that also impressed me a lot. Rockwork, I will say this was the most aggravating experience of the last decade of my life as the guy doing the rock work ego was the size of the empire state building. But... he could back it up, he was very very good. His Artistic talent is beyond what I have seen ever in other pool builds. But he did not like questions of any kind, instead of assuring me of certain concerns he took offense and would curse/yell at me and I almost had him removed from my property at one point. So if you want to be involved as your rock is being developed without stress you will need to learn to take the good with the bad because this guy was worth that aggravation 100%. He also carved a beach entry that blew my mind btw. The owners got personally involved in this situation and made it right. Wes and Ryan Holland both impressed me again here. Screenwork was outstanding and contractors were awesome. They used really high grade screws for no rust and even bolt patterns absolutely perfect, I've never had a screen this good before. Answered my questions and concerns perfectly. Pebble Tec contractors are not all equal but these guys delivered the best surface I ever had done, really good quality contractors, answered my questions and concerns. Overall in my opinion Paradise pools by design was the only company in this area that could do this kind of job, Wes, Ryan, Gator and Tod made this project work without their leadership there's no way this was happening, nothing goes perfect in construction but it how you handle it is what counts and i have great respect for their team and am grateful to everyone who worked on this project, even the rock guy. This company is worth paying extra for and I would highly recommend them.

I want to share with you what an outstanding job Paradise Pools by Design did with the design, construction and opening of our new pool. We recently built a new home and we found what would become our dream pool in a home magazine. We had called several pool companies and were unhappy with their attitude when answering our questions and their lack of comprehending the pool design we were looking for. We were given the recommendation of Paradise Pools by Design from one of the local customer home builders. We met with Wes Holland and after just the first meeting we knew that we were going with Paradise Pools by Design. We were very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of pool design, construction, and maintenance. Wes was able to take that picture from the magazine and create a wonderful pool that fit both our home and our budget. He used a pool design application that was able to produce an image of what the finished pool would look like. This provided my wife and I the peace of mind that the final design would be exactly what we wanted. I’ve heard of nightmare stories from friends about the actual construction process of their pools. This is absolutely where Paradise Pools by Design excels and differentiate itself from other pool builders. Ryan Holland was the project manager for our pool construction. The construction and the quality of the installation is the most important part of this entire process. Ryan has some of the best tradesman in the business and he ensured that pool was constructed properly and on schedule. When we called Ryan for some minor warranty issues months after the completion of the pool he was as responsive as the day he started the pool. Paradise Pools by Design provided my family a custom pool for the same price that our neighbors paid for the typical cookie cutter style pools. We would highly recommend Paradise Pools by Design to anyone that is interested in building a pool. Potts Family Lake Mary Florida

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tod Brown (Designer/ Sales) and Justin Miller (Construction Supervisor) - What an outstanding duo! Tod listened intently and clearly saw "the vision" as we sat down the first time and he drew out and created a perfect pool with all the curves, characteristics and appeal that we desired. All this was happening while Tod's fun attitude and slight sarcasm shined. 🙂 A pool is only as good as it's "guts." He not only made the pool look good from the outside, but he also made sure we had the best of the best plumbing, pump, UV, Fusion2 and lighting options. He ensured we were comfortable and confident with the final design and brought us to the cost we felt most comfortable with. Justin came to bat for us from the very beginning, ensuring the plethora of subcontractors that came through our back yard were the best of the best. All work completed was done with such accuracy and quality and never appeared to be rushed. If we had any questions during the process, Justin was just a call or text away, always answering immediately or quickly responding. Justin made us feel comfortable and confident in the process even when things might have appeared chaotic at times. A masterpiece doesn't start off looking that way, but give it some time and the pricelessness of it will gradually appear. This is how we feel about our oasis. We truly have a paradise to call our own! Thank you Tod, Justin and Paradise Pools for all you have done to help us create some wonderful memories in and around our pool paradise that will last forever! God bless you all!

We laid out a concept and brought it to paradise. Their design team refined it and made a unique and remarkable multi tier pool. We sampled all other pool builders in the area and found the Paradise design the most refined. Also, the water works are complex in it involving several pumps some of which are a special high flow variant, multiple filters, various rain descents, pergola water features, a swim jet, and a long infinite edge water fall edge. The engineering that went into the water design and the controls is extensive and as an engineer I suspect few builders in the area could have pulled off the design with the flow and efficiency Ryan H. achieved. We've had the pool over a year now and had one controlled led go out with no other difficulties. Paradise had that replaced in short order. On Service, their field crew are fine bunch of guys both amiable and knowledgeable. If you want something special and you want quality, these are the guys to see.

After looking online and calling around, I was really excited to potentially work with Paradise pools after seeing all the good reviews. Unfortunately my experience wasn't the best. I have a 75k budget for the pool and also need some miscellaneous items I wanted to add in my yard. Outdoor kitchen & concreteslab (separate from the 75k). I thought I would get some direction on a subcontractor for the kitchen, but my salesperson didn't seem interested in looking into it. Still not sure if Paradise subs that scope out or not? Apparently he was super busy with everyone's requests (his words), that I was told I couldn't get the full picture drawing other companies do so you can see your vision of how it will look. That for me was a huge bummer, as I'm sure for almost everyone you would want to see the full picture of what your pool is going to look like. With just measurements of a pool for me was not enough, especially on such a huge project for me and my family. Once I received the proposal (which I felt like I was a bother for even asking for it), I had no clue what some things even meant because nothing was explained. It was just emailed and a follow up text a few days after asking if I was going to move foward. So now I ended up contacting another builder that was able to explain everything to me, show me a 3D picture of how my pool is going to look, ask me specifics on what I wanted so pricing can be as accurate as possible on spa heights, tiles, pavers, etc., etc.. Still not commited to them yet, but ppl do your homework! I am not going to put names out there because it is not my intention of bashing someone. Maybe I just wasn't lucky on getting a good sales rep. Just disappointed it turned out this way.

Don’t waste your time! After a great first impression with the salesman, everything went downhill fast. The salesman says our neighbors fence would not need to come down and on the first day of construction that’s the first thing they tell me. It must come down. After repeatedly trying to contact the owner and the salesman, neither would call back. They started the pool on February and it just ended October 23rd! For a 9,000 gallon pool. The quality of the work was ok, not great. But the worst part is the lack of communication. The project manager, Jason and his boss, Matt, would never answer phone calls either and resorted to text! Every small issue we had was fixed but only after telling Jason several times. Each time we’d bring it up it was like they were hearing it for the first time again. Matt does a “final walk through” and says all issues will be fixed. 3 weeks later, nothing was done. So I text Matt and he says he thought Jason fixed it all. I told them I would submit the last small payment when they finished the small issues like neighbors broken sprinkler head. Then that’s when the owner, Wes calls and leaves me a voicemail saying he’s going to send me to collections over something they had not even completed to that point. My guess is Matt and Jason didn’t tell Wes they weren’t finished. But real nice of the owner to finally reach out to his customer to make the threat of collections. I highly recommended finding a better company. That shouldn’t be hard. There were many more issues that I didn’t want to waste my time and put on here.
