So far, they are doing a great job. Price was competitive and they got the quote to me ASAP. They even offer an online payment method, which I'm thrilled about. No writing checks every month and the receipt is emailed instantly once payment is submitted. Very pleased. Updating my review....It has been over a year now using Better Pools services and I'm not disappointed. They keep my pool sparkling!

Josh cleaned the pool pretty well. But when he left my prescription sunglasses were gone. He denied taking. Crazy...I found sunglasses. Sorry Josh.

Ken from Better Pools is extremely professional and knowledgeable about pools and the process needed to get my pool back up and running to what it should be. He took his time explaining everything to me and is very reasonable with his pricing. Joey was a pleasure to meet and discussed his work ethic and plans for my cleaning schedule. I look forward to a long relationship with Better Pools.

Take care of pools great....till you have an issue...always remember... customers pay you money and you should respect them and their property. Ken seems nice....techs are not.

Ken is great! I have not only a pool but an inground spa in another property and Ken keeps them both running and crystal clear. He's always willing to stop and answer any concerns I may have . He helped me out when my previous contractor left and neglected to tell me my pump was broken! Ken was there right away, had estimates and the job was completed in 2 days! Needless to say, Better Pools is now my pool service.

EDIT: do not bother if you own dogs. they will not clean your pool.

We recently switched to Better Pools from Pinch a Penny Englewood and we are totally impressed with the job Ken and his staff are doing. Being snowbirds from Canada we are only in our SW Florida home 6 months of the year. Our next door neighbours, great friends and terrific people, monitor our home on a weekly basis during the summer months when we are not there. The technician from Pinch a Penny was cutting a lot of corners and when our neighbours supplied pictures we were shocked. When my wife politely informed the owners at Pinch a Penny about the problem she was viciously attacked, without any investigation by the owners, and we were basically told they didn't need or want our business. Some people in the area recommended Ken and Better Pools and we are glad they did. Ken's technician is doing a great job on our pool and my telephone conversation with Ken was cordial and friendly. While I had nothing but praise for Ken's company he did indicate that if there was ever a problem he looked at this type of feedback as an opportunity to improve Better Pools service! What a difference in attitude! Thank you Ken and I look forward to a long and satisfactory relationship with you and your firm! You have restored my faith in how businesses treat absentee owners!😎👍

Great customer service. From the woman who first answered the phone to the owner that took the time to personally visit my home. After a careful examination of my situation Better Pools was able to get my pool ready for my visiting guests! They also set me up with an affordable maintenance plan to assure me this wouldn't happen again.

Wow, what great service! I contacted Ken because I needed long-term pool care and an initial deep cleaning after the purchase of my first home. The response was very prompt and, even though my pool was really dirty at first, they went right to work. In very little time my pool was perfect. Everything was just so well done and I had nothing to be concerned about. If any of you are looking for impeccable pool service, I can tell you that Better Pools in Venice should be first on your list!
