We had Perfect Pools install a pool in our home in The Villages here in Florida. They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in a on time high quality pool. Any issues we had were addressed quickly and resolved with no problems. Jack, John and Tyler followed up on any questions me and my wife had in a very professional way. If you are looking for a great pool at a great price call Perfect Pools, you won’t regret it
Do not get sucked in by the cheaper price. I had a three page review, but Google reviews would not allow it--too long. So here is the abridged version: This company is terrible to communicate with. At first I was told to direct all calls to the office. They rarely picked up the phone. We only got someone when we drove there to "surprise" them. They also communicate poorly with each other. Nobody knows what anyone else is doing there. They do not show up to do work when they said they would be here, Conversely, they would also call last minute to come and resolve something when we were not home and the doors were locked. I spoke with another customer of theirs and she advised me to, "stay on top of them all of the time. It is the only way they will get it done." She was correct. I then hounded them all of the time. This was six months after we signed our contract, so it was not like I hounded them from the first day. I received a bill from their electrical contractor because they were 45 days past due on it. When I asked the pool company about it, I was told that they were waiting on my next payment, a payment that was not due until everything was completed and inspected. So how is that my fault or issue? They "finished" in early August. That said, one of their employees noticed in early December (when the heater was not working) that there were no spa jet inserts installed. They brought out two sets of jet inserts over the next few weeks and neither were the correct part! They are a quite friendly group, but are clearly mismanaged, communicate with their customers poorly, as well as within their own company, and you better plan on hounding them if you want the job finished. I also have to wonder about their finances since they do not pay their bills on time. I would have gone in a different direction had I known this ahead of time. Be careful! Update 3 days later: Had a warning on my phone app about the pool. Went outside to see that the water was down about 14" and no water in the spa. The PVC on the spa blower had broken and the blower was on the ground. Explains why there was no water...all lost out the pipe. I was told by one employee last month (his first time there) that the blower should be mounted to the house and was surprised that it passed inspection without it being attached. I asked the supervisor about this and his response was, "he (the other employee) doesn't;t know what he is talking about." Well, if it had been attached to the house, it probably would not have broken off and I wouldn't need to call someone reliable to come fix this whole issue. Still waiting to see if this did any damage to the pool pump. If the pump is damaged because it was running without water, etc., Perfect Pools will be facing more legal issues. I contacted the owner and supervisor this morning at 8:45...no response nine hours later.
We are so pleased with our new pool and spa combo from Perfect Pools. It is just beautiful and we love the sound of the waterfalls from the pool and spa. From start to finish, everything was done in about 9 weeks. Everyone is so nice to work with and they return text questions quickly. We would highly recommend this pool company.
Warning: Avoid This Company at All Costs I’m a veteran and first responder who signed a contract with Perfect Pools in August 2023, hoping to get a pool installed for rehab after an injury I sustained during deployment. I was told we’d be swimming by Spring 2024. Fast forward to May 2025, and I’ve had enough. After months of delays, inspection failures, and complete lack of communication, I’ve decided to hire someone else to finish the job. The first red flag was when it took them 6 months to get the permits approved, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Then, they got the design wrong, and it’s still wrong. On top of that, we paid a full draw for a screen enclosure and a new elite roof, but didn’t receive the new roof, and they still insisted we pay the full amount. Against my better judgment, we did, with the promise of a credit at the end of the project which never came. After numerous requests, I finally had a meeting with one of the owners in February to discuss finishing the job. He assured me it would take one month to complete, so I allowed two months. Well, those two months passed, and the project was still not finished. To add insult to injury, I found out they sponsored a bikini competition in April 2025 but couldn’t finish my pool. Clearly, their priorities are elsewhere. This company has given me nothing but frustration, disappointment, and a not so perfect pool. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from them. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
We had a wonderful pool build from the team at perfect pool, we were concerned with our awkward piece of land but the design team came up with a plan and delivered a fantastic design. Good quality job with many wonderful memories to come….thank you
I am a disabled veteran who had a pool built by Perfect Pools. Although I am happy with the end result, I am not pleased with the process of having the pool built by them. We signed our contract in June and we’re told we will be swimming by April. They told us they would break ground in September or the latest October but we didn’t see them until December after a repeatedly calling. They does a hole in my backyard for the pool, which sat there for 2 1/2 months before anyone came back out again after repeatedly calling. My wife and I have to repeatedly call their office to find out when someone was coming out to finish the started project. We will be told one thing and it would never come to fruition. After every stage was completed, he gave them a check for the amount due without any hassle. But when the final stage wasn’t nearly completed, they wanted a payment which we felt uncomfortable with giving them being that the work had not been completed. The owner came out one morning, walked in the backyard walked around the pool, looked at some things, and left The next thing we know we received a call saying that they were going to put a lien on our house for The final payment. We told her we had no problem paying all the money we’d already paid them. The remaining balance was less than $5000. We just wanted our pool completed. I am paralyzed as they promise to provide us with a pool chair because of all the delays we had to occur. After receiving a final payment, they ignored us about the pool chair and won’t answer any calls or return any calls just like we thought they would do. I don’t like giving people back reviews because I could be understanding about supply issues and time frames, but this was just poor service. Very poor customer service they did not hold up to their word. Instead of taking 6 to 7 months for our Poor to be completed it took twice as long. We had to cancel family functions that we have planned because of what they continue to tell us as a completion date like I said, and result was good, but the process was very frustrating And a professional. Good luck
