We had an unusual situation. We had a koi pond installed at the same time as our pool. When the fish had passed, we needed to change the set up of the pool. It was quite a challenge. The pool and koi pond were separated by an 18” wall and had two separate systems. The current building frenzy that is going on made the situation harder because it is easier to install new pools not remodel the old. I also learned there is a difference between remodel and resurface. This is when you want a business that really cares. Kelsey and Charlie came out and assessed the situation. Then after carefully listening to us, presented us with several solutions. We decided the best answer for us was to make the koi pond into a sun shelf or ledge. Sounds easy enough, but it was anything but easy. We were amazed at how much planning, skill and coordination that they put into the project. From the beginning to end, they have communicated and explained each step along the way. The hardest part was waiting on permitting. I’m so impressed with their sons. They are hard working, polite and came to work every time with a smile on their face. They are a testament to good parenting. I appreciate their work ethics and enthusiasm. Charley and Kelsey prepared us for the worst case scenario when starting the project-like digging up shrubs, taking down a lanai screen panel, etc. Since they are so amazing at analyzing the project, thinking outside of the box and communicating on the scene, none of that happened. They were able to do all the work through the lanai door. I don’t think that would have happened at any other company. Constant communication with us and their teams is a key to the success of SunCoast Pool King. The change to our lanai/pool is AMAZING! We definitely found the (W)right people for the job. We would highly recommend them for any project. We took pictures of the project from beginning to end and gave them to Kelsey and Charlie.

Don't often write reviews but this was so bad that i felt the need to let any other person searching for a pool company to beware. Pool basket that is meant to keep leaves out of the pool pump was removed and lead to pool pump becoming clogged and damaged. Reached out several time to no answer. Was told service includes brushing,skimming,Vaccuming and chemicals the only thing that was done at my pool was chemicals. We have a security camera in the back yard so we are able to see what they did and didnt do and the duration of how long they spend working on the pool. My pool filter has also be damage during there time servicing the pool. I have never had so many issues with a pool company before. They take no responsibility for anything that is damage. I would highly recommend going to any other company.

We are very lucky that Suncoast Pool King was recommended to resurface and retile our pool. We LOVE our new pool! It is so beautiful. What a difference from our old, stained pool that we had no desire to swim in. Thank you to Kelsey, Charlie and your hardworking sons. You made this experience as painless as possible and the end result is a quality pool we can be proud of! 6 months after a $60,000 deposit was made still no permit. We went to a competitor. They did return our deposit minus $2500.

Suncoast worked with me, and my budget, to revive and refurbish my pool back to looking fantastic with new travertine waterline tile, glass tile on the waterfall, and a Caribbean Blue interior resurface. Fortunately, the weather was cooperative, so they were able to get started ahead of schedule and finish ahead of time, too. Suncoast is a family owned and operated business, so we had the honor of working with the whole family. Their candor shined from my first interaction, and once hired, I found that their work ethic was impeccable. We had several projects going on at the same time, and Suncoast worked with the other contractors very well for seamless coordination in everyone's efforts. Overall, I am very happy with the outcome of my pool and my choice to go with Suncoast. Not only did I get a fantastic looking pool, but I feel like I made new friends, too. I highly recommend this company!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Suncoast Pool King. This was our first big project as new home owners. Charlie and his team’s experience and reliability quickly eased any nerves we had! We hired Suncoast for poly-pebble removal around our pool - an incredibly labor intensive and messy project. Their prices were fair, and the team was here every day until it was complete, chipping away bit by bit. They cleaned up every pebble, and even cleaned and treated the pool! We are thrilled with the results and will happily recommend Suncoast Pool to anyone in the area.
