I started the pool process in January and reached out to several companies to get information and pricing. I connected with Tony on January 4th and from the jump he was thorough, professional, and genuinely invested in the design. He listened to what I wanted and delivered a plan that checked every box. After working through the design process, I made the decision in early March to go with another builder based on price. I called Tony, was straight with him, and he understood. He asked for a day to review things with the owner to see what they could do. They couldn't match the price, but they came within a few thousand dollars. That is how you build a relationship with a customer. If I had to find one complaint, it would be the pool school walkthrough at the end. There is a lot of information packed into a short session, and I happened to schedule it during a time I was rushed. That is on me. What I will say is that when I followed up with Miguel a week later and shared that feedback, he didn't brush it off. He offered to do another pool school with me. That is the kind of thing that separates a company that cares from one that just collects the final draw and moves on. I never felt like just another project. Tony and Miguel — thank you both. However, a neighbor just a few doors down opted for Differenza, and I was impressed by their efficiency in completing their project. I decided to reach out to Differenza and inquire about a similar build at a comparable price. Although I believe the quote was slightly higher, the quality and workmanship, as well as the speed at which they were constructing multiple pools in our community, gave me confidence in choosing Differenza. The cost difference was worth it to me. Building a pool is not a daily occurrence for homeowners, and there’s definitely a learning curve involved. From preparing for the build to understanding what to expect week by week, and even during the final stages when you’re almost done, it’s all a learning experience. I must admit that the entire project wasn’t without its challenges, but I don’t regret choosing Differenza for a moment. Any concerns I had were promptly addressed. After all, building a pool is not an overnight project. You build a relationship with the builder you choose, and the team at Differenza is undoubtedly the people you want to work with.
