This review is for any homeowner with a custom pool. After owning our home/custom pool for almost 3 years, attending pool school, paying for weekly pool cleaning & maintenance (which includes our pool and the equipment), our pool began to have more noticeable debris floating on top. In addition to the debris it began to make gurgling sounds which became more consistent and forceful at times. Discussed with our service provider via phone and he assured me on three separate occasions he would come address my issues. Needless to say he never showed, an entire seven days passed and guess who stops taking my calls? After a week, a technician did come for a previously scheduled routine service, but he did not resolve our issues and only said his boss would call me. I reached out to Holland Pools (Danielle) to explain my concern, since Holland built our pool. Danielle immediately ran through a series of questions for me to troubleshoot to access the situation. She was very proficient and focused on assisting. She was able to schedule me for the next available service call for which Ashley showed up. Ashley was a consummate expert; she was patient, extremely thorough and immediately verified the root cause of both issues. To my pleasure, she resolved each of them on the spot, but most importantly, she explained how to prevent a repeat. I understand sometimes it takes a fresh set of eyes, but in this case it took two true professionals committed to customer satisfaction who were focused on solving problems. Both Danielle and Ashley epitomize exceptionalism and absolute dedication to their craft. Thank you Holland Pools Management for your two shining star performers!

This company is absolutely miserable to deal with. Wish I would have went elsewhere.

We purchased our home in Clermont Florida and decided we wanted to add a pool. After researching reviews and visiting the offices of local pool builders in the area we decided to go with Holland Pool. That was most definitely the right choice. I find Holland to be outstanding in all aspects. The experience started with Kim our sales person Kim Nicholson is very knowledgeable and designed our pool. she was available at all times and days to accommodate our inputs and changes to the design. She is very attentive, patient and paid special attention to our need. she walked us though every step of what to expect from design to construction. Kim also helped us obtain our enclosure and helped us negotiate the price. That brings us to Project manager Tyler. He was amazing. Tyler was on site almost everyday to monitor the construction and kept us abreast of every phase of the construction in a timely matter. He made sure all aspects of the construction was accomplished with highest of standards. Tyler and Kim answered every call for issues and concerns or just questions. Tyler was also on top of vendors to assure the site was return original state. I feel Tyler, the project manager, and Kim our designer deserve special recognition for the care and attention of the project from start to finish. The finished product is fantastic. If you are lookin to build a pool, I most definitely recommend Holland Pools. Give them a call.

Our experience with Holland was fantastic! We were complete novices when it came to knowing about pools or what we wanted and they guided us along each step of the way. The finished project was amazing and has complete changed the way our family enjoys our backyard! We started our design journey with Steve who was a pleasure to work with. He told us which options made sense and which didn't and created detailed 3D renders which helped us decide on a layout. At no point did I get the sense he was trying to upsell on options which made it easy to trust his advice. He was also very patient as we iterated on the pool design. Brad our site supervisor was also amazing to work with. From our kickoff meeting where he outlined each step of the build we had clarity on what was happening each week. We also hit the timelines he outlined and actually finished our build a couple of weeks early! Other people who also had pools built were surprised at how quickly things got done! Brad was alongside us each step of the way, answering questions, providing advice, and generally taking care of any questions we had. I'm going to add a bit of reality to this post as well for anyone out there thinking of building: 1. Things WILL go wrong along the way. 2. Unexpected issues WILL crop up. 3. Some things WILL get damaged around the property. 4. Expect your yard and accessway to be a waste land through the process. The above will happen regardless of the pool company you choose. What really matters is the following: 1. How knowledgeable is your sales person? Do they have your interests in mind or are they just trying to move on to the next sale? 2. How reputable and reliable are the subcontractors the company uses? 3. How knowledgeable and responsive is your site supervisor (the company rep who interfaces with all the sub contractors)? Are they able to foresee issues and mitigate them before they happen? 4. How reputable is the pool company itself? Have they been in business a long time or will they go out of business in the middle of your pool build and leave you with a hole in the ground? 5. How committed are they to standing by the work done by their subcontractors and making things right when issues invariably arise? As far as Holland is concerned I can say they met all the criteria above.
