Choosing Miami Custom Pool Company to update our pool was one of the best construction decisions that we have made. When we them as our pool contractor, it was based on extensive research, but the real proof was in the job. I am happy to say that the completed project is even better than our expectations, and we delight in the constant compliments of our friends. When we first met with monica she impressed us with her knowledge, ability, creativity and positive attitude. Throughout the job it was apparent that she was proud of the companies work as they always found solutions to possible problems and made suggestions that resulted in a beautiful outcome. For example, we had decided that we wanted a sun shelf at one end of our pool that would necessitate we relocate the spa to the other end, they suggested instead a beach entry, in which the tumbled marble would flow into the pool at a gentle incline, giving the impression of a beach. This idea gave us the use of an area for sunning but resulted in a much more spectacular outcome. They gave us other options for the spa, including a corner spa with a slightly elevated edge that allowed water to fall over the softly rounded edge into the pool. Knowing that this design called for glass tile, she helped us to select a lovely tile from the many choices that he presented. The sparkling glass tile was exactly the right choice to highlight the pool's lovely contrasting lines. Miami Custom Pools treated our job as though they were doing it for their own home. Although any construction project can be trying at times, their positive approach reminded us that we were going to enjoy the final result for many years. We contracted Miami custom pools and spas almost 2 years ago to build our spa and BBQ. We paid them about $27,000 since 4/2011, they were suppose to finish the project in 4-6 weeks. Now they just disappeared without notice, disconnected their phone numbers, website is down and their office is close. A complaint was already filed with the Florida department of Business and Professional Regulation.

We recently had our pool remodeled by Miami Custom Pools and just want to take a moment to comment on our overall satisfaction with the results. We can't say enough good things about Miami Custom throughout this entire process. Their professionalism and genuine interest in making sure we are satisfied customers speaks columns for the approach your company takes with its customers. They were in constant contact with us from day 1 to even now, several weeks after the project was completed, to make sure we were comfortable, informed and completely satisfied. Whenever we needed assistance, they were there, whether it be returning phone calls, or on occasion at our house. We received many quotes from builders in the area and to be honest, we went with Miami Custom primarily because of our trust in Lisett. The quality of the work performed by your contractors was outstanding. We loved the final product we walked away with. For the most part the coordination of the various processes was well managed and although there were some scheduling "hiccups" this could primarily be attributed to difficulties with the landscaping process that was going on simultaneously. The start-up construction manager Jorge, that assisted us in understanding the pool equipment and maintenance, was again, excellent. He was knowledgeable, thorough and patient as we were going to be working with a system with which we had no previous experience. He made it clear that if we ever had questions or problems in the future, to simply give him a call. Again, we were totally satisfied in this regard. Close to a year. The pool is not even close to finish. Yard is a mess... The company does not answer phone calls. Have to call from multiple numbers to try to get someone on the phone.. Even sub contractors have told me what a disaster the company is. Going to file with the Better Business Bureau...Get another company not this one......

We have been meaning to write this letter all summer to thank you for the exceptional pool you built for our family. Our kids are having a fantastic summer swimming in their new backyard. When we look out our windows or step into the back yard, we are still amazed how wonderfully the pool fits into the landscape just as you promised. We love it! From the moment we started talking to pool companies yours stood out. Initially, we had another company come out. We were not impressed. He was very vague and seemed somewhat disinterested in helping us. On the contrary, your company showed up and was very personable and ready to help design our dream pool. Marie walked around our yard to get a feel for the space and considered all our wants and needs. She designed a unique, one of a kind pool ! The design complimented and helped unify the entire backyard space. You did an incredible job. Everyone in the Miami Custom family has been a joy to work with. They always made us feel special, especially Jorge. When it was time to pick out our accessories for the pool Jorge wal also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He did not pressure us and we choose what we wanted. We really found that refreshing and it made the whole experience very enjoyable. Jorge always made sure everything was on schedule so that the pool would be completed in a timely manner even though it has and continues to be a very rainy season. We contracted Miami Custom Pools and Spas to build our swimming pool here in Miami Shores. We paid them $2800.00 on October 20, 2011. They were supposed to begin with 6-8 weeks. We never heard back from Miami Custom Pools and Spas until late January, 2012. We had been trying to reach them since December, 2011, to no avail. We have filed a complaint with The Florida Department of Professional/Business Regulation in Tallahassee. We have also learned that there are civil lawsuits against this company. We have also hired our own attorney to recover the $2800.00 we gave them. My name was also forged to multiple documents with the Miami Shores Village Hall Building Department, in order for Miami Custom Pools and Spas to obtain permits for construction. Our case is ongoing against Miami Custom Pools and Spas, Lesette Figueroa, Cathleen Ciuba, et al.
