Fountain of Youth Pool and Spa

I can not say enough good about this company. From beginning to end they were fantastic. Grant Lohmanns extreme patience with my pool design, Jimmy doing an amazing job with the ground work, concrete and special thanks to Bobby our supervisor. Bobby has to be the absolute best supervisor we have ever seen. He kept us up to date on every step. If we had a problem, we called Bobby even after hours he answered his phone. If one of the crews did not do something they were suppose to, Bobby did it himself. Everyone that has seen our pool can not believe how beautiful it is and how fast Fountain pools installed it. We were given a time frame of 3-5 months, we were complete in 3 1/2 months. I don’t want to forget Leslie in the office who I believe has a lot on her plate however was a pleasure to deal with as well. I have referred Fountain Pools to several of my friends already referring this crew specifically, they are the best. We have heard so many horror stories in regards to pool companies .. dealing with fountain pools was great experience.. Ty to Bobby, the hardest worker and his crew.. five stars from start to finish, if we could give 10 we would.

This has been one of the most frustrating and poorly managed construction experiences we've ever had. From the outset, the project was plagued by a lack of oversight, repeated mistakes, unnecessary rework, and little to no accountability. The original superintendent assigned to our project was later identified through public records as a registered sex offender and was not providing active supervision of the job. During that period, several significant early-stage errors occurred, resulting in delays, corrective work, and setting a negative tone for the remainder of the project. Communication throughout the construction process was consistently disorganized. Responsibilities frequently shifted between office staff, superintendents, and subcontractors, making it difficult to determine who was actually accountable. Rather than taking ownership of project issues, Fountain Pools repeatedly attributed problems to subcontractors instead of effectively managing and overseeing the work themselves.

I referred one of my clients to Grant Lohmann at Fountain Pools, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience he delivered from start to finish. Grant took excellent care of my client, communicated clearly throughout the entire process, and truly treated the project as if it were his own home. The pool came out absolutely beautiful with high quality workmanship, great attention to detail, and a smooth, professional build process. My client was thrilled with both the final result and the level of service they received, which says everything. Very unprofessional Steven and his wife look to do things the cheapest way possible and my expertise in the pool industry is what I did for a career before moving to Florida to retire I was shocked to the way they build there swimming pools and the cheap equipment they offer with their pool models I went to paradise pools and I decided to go with them I think they are the most expensive and you get nothing but the best smoke and mirrors

This has been one of the most exhausting, poorly managed construction experiences we have ever dealt with. From the very beginning, this project was marked by lack of supervision, constant mistakes, do-overs, and zero accountability. The original superintendent assigned to our project was later identified through public records as a registered sex offender and was not actively supervising the job. During this time, there were significant early-stage errors that required rework and corrections, setting the tone for the rest of the project. Communication throughout the build was consistently disorganized. Responsibilities were constantly shifted between office staff, superintendents, and subcontractors. Fountain Pools routinely passed the blame to subcontractors rather than managing the project themselves. Multiple subcontractors independently told us we were the “last job” they would be doing on our home — a clear indication of internal coordination and scheduling issues. The post-completion phase has been an absolute nightmare. Several punch-list items were confirmed in writing to be scheduled and completed on February 2. That did not happen. On February 4, a subcontractor showed up to cut concrete for a decorative drain and inspect turf issues with no direction, no understanding of the scope of work, and no ability to communicate in English. I was forced to find a translator myself and explain the work — something the homeowner should never be responsible for. The subcontractor also confirmed that additional turf is required to fix an area that was cut too short. As of nearly 30 days after the final draw was released, the following items remain unresolved: • Stucco holes not patched • Paint touch-ups not completed • Original gutter drains damaged and not properly reattached • Turf installation issues unresolved • Warranty documentation and starter kit not provided • A paid umbrella holder plug that cannot be removed and is unusable Despite numerous emails, phone calls, and follow-ups, we have received no answers, no timelines, and no accountability. Messages routinely go unanswered. No one takes ownership. No one follows through. This has been an ongoing nightmare from start to finish. Fountain Pools showed a consistent pattern of poor supervision, lack of communication, inadequate subcontractor coordination, and complete disregard for resolving issues once final payment was released. If you are considering Fountain Pools, I strongly advise you to: • Get everything in writing • Do not release final payment until every item is completed • Be prepared to manage subcontractors yourself • Expect significant stress after construction is “finished” Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.
