Design: Wahoo will work to ensure the pool you imagine is what you get, but they won't let you make bad design choices that will lead to issues in the future. Build: Wahoo works with the best trades and subs in the region, and will ensure the work they perform meets or exceeds the expectations of the customer. Project Management: Wahoo has the best project managers in the business that carry decades of combined experience to ensure all pitfalls are identified, and avoided. They are responsive and care about the work they do. Final Product: Wahoo has an elite team of specialists that start your pool up, and ensure everything is functioning as intended. They will not leave your side until you are completely educated on how the pool works, and satisfied it is working correctly. Issues: Any construction project will have things that need to be addressed and fixed. Wahoo caught 90% of those issues themselves, the 10% I caught were fixed immediately. Wahoo never once tried to downplay an issue. Even when I was wrong (I was constantly wrong) they investigated my concern. The People: 1. Thomas my designs sales specialist: He spent hours with my wife and I making sure our pool was better than anything we could have created on our own. His years of experience allowed him to make recommendations we had never considered. He remained a point of contact the entire time. 2. David my pool project manager: He built a beautiful pool, explained every step, was on site regularly checking the work. David is the best project manager I have every worked with in any capacity. 3. Rick my outdoor kitchen project manager: He built our dream kitchen, and I am positive it is better built than my home. I enjoyed sitting outside and talking to Rick as he worked. He is the best, simply put. 4. BiBi my Pool School Professor: Bibi is one of the best people you will ever work with. The man knows more about pools than anyone I have ever met. With patience, he has answered every question I have, addressed every concern I have, and spent hours of his personal time making sure I know what I am doing when it comes to my pool. It cannot be overstated how wonderful Bibi is to work with. 5. The rest of the team: There are countless names I am not even aware of that have gone into making this pool amazing, but Pete, Vinny and Elizabeth were all very helpful at various times through this project and deserve to be mentioned in this review. Wahoo builds trust with their customers, and deliver on that trust every day. Their primary two goals are building the best pools possible, and ensuring customer satisfaction and success. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Thank you, Wahoo!

Becareful with this company they are messy in construction site they don’t respond to complaints and try to blame you whenever there is an issue be very careful and take pictures!!!

If you’re considering building a pool in the Tampa Bay area—no question, choose Wahoo Pools. I spent a significant amount of time researching and interviewing multiple companies, and Wahoo was a clear standout from the start. What set them apart early on was their personalized approach. They took the time to truly understand what I wanted, while also bringing expert guidance and ideas to elevate the design. They were incredibly patient throughout the process - walking me through options, educating me where needed, and never rushing decisions or cutting corners. The quality of their work, materials, and overall execution is excellent. It’s clear they operate at a higher standard, not just in the build itself but also in their warranties and ongoing service, which gave me a lot of confidence in the investment. Our project was more than just a pool build - we ended up including decking, a covered structure, turf, putting green, and multiple outdoor living elements. Wahoo handled all of it seamlessly, and at a reasonable cost, which made a huge difference. Their team was attentive, communicative, and quick to address any questions or adjustments. They were also very flexible as we made a few changes and additions along the way. Additionally, they not only walked me through every step leading up to the build (like moving power and plumbing lines), but also helped future-proof the space by advising on decisions that support possible needs or enhancements down the line. Most importantly, the end result exceeded expectations. We now have a true backyard oasis that feels thoughtfully designed and incredibly well executed. Because of the trust they earned throughout this project, it was a no brainer to use Wahoo for my ongoing pool service needs too. I would absolutely recommend Wahoo Pools to anyone looking for a high-quality, well-managed, and personalized experience.

The rating should be 4.5 (not 4 or 5). Overall Wahoo did a really good job on building a raised pool with a retaining wall. The only issue we had was getting the pool done in a timely manner. Other then that the end product was terrific and they resolved all our issues. The technicians and service folks were terrific . A special note regarding Bibi who was simply outstanding getting everything up and running and explaining how everything operates

After meeting with several of the bay area's top builders, we decided to sign a contact with Wahoo pools. From the first meeting with our sales rep, Tim, was down to earth and extremely easy to communicate with. He was completely open to our vision and gave us several helpful tips throughout the design process. Once we met in office with the design team and finalized our design, we knew we made the right choice. Wahoo was extremely easy to work with and we didn't feel like we were "nickle and dimed" for the small additions or features that the other companies line itemed out on our bids. They also had several standard features in their pool that others charged a hefty increase for. Tim was also very open to several changes and additions we made along the way. Due to COVID, the permit process took a significant amount of time and the time between construction phases was lengthy at times, but the communication from our PM, David, was always clear and most things were completed when Wahoo said they'd be completed. Any questions or concerns we had along the way were always addressed and we were always kept in the loop with what was going on. The delays between phases we're at times testing to our patience but most of this was outside of Wahoo's control given the circumstances with material delays and COVID restrictions. Total time from dig to swim was around 22 weeks and we ended up with a product that our family can enjoy for years to come. Wahoo and their staff made it easy to look past the time it took to complete the project and we have no regrets with our decision to trust them to build our dream pool. Thank you to Tim, David E., Dave G, Jim, BB, Tom and the rest of the Wahoo Pools team for making an experience that most people do not seem to enjoy, an enjoyable one for us!
