About Pool And Deck Concepts

We checked Pool and Deck Concepts of Naples against every pool builder in Florida — license CPC1460858, what they build, and where they stand.

Who they are

Pool and Deck Concepts works from 1st Avenue NW in Naples, Collier County, and has had a website online since 2010 — considerably longer than the current license registration, which is the ordinary pattern when a qualifying contractor changes. Their Florida pool contractor license, CPC1460858, has been current since 2024 and runs to 2028, rather than the 2026 renewal date most Florida pool licenses share.

What homeowners say

Google shows 4.6 from 72 reviews, a little above the Florida average of 4.52. Seventy-two reviews is a solid base — enough that the score reflects how the company generally works rather than a handful of experiences — and the site has been trading under this name since 2010, so there is real history behind it. No theme recurs across enough separate customers to draw out in either direction, so the individual reviews are worth reading.

What they build

The widest range on this profile's list: new pool construction, renovation, repair and ongoing service, with spas, water features, screen enclosures and the decks and outdoor living areas the company is named for. Decking is a stated specialism rather than an afterthought. They publish 24 project photographs — (239) 514-5095. Their site says licensed and insured; the license checks out, and insurance is worth asking to see.

From the first contact to the last, it was all positive. First I met with Mark to discuss the design and materials to be used. He was very accommodating……..professional, but friendly. I also liked the choice of materials available, and that I didn’t have to go somewhere else to pick them out. I thought the pictorial presentation, showing my pool, was very impressive. The workers were all very efficient and did a great job. My only problem was the fact that I couldn’t communicate with them—without the use of a telephone translator program. Fortunately, I didn’t need to communicate with them very often because Belen, the job supervisor, was on the job site often and always available by phone or text. She did a great job of communicating and scheduling the work to be done. Special kudos to her for her involvement. Thank you to Pool and Deck Concepts for making a large job very pleasant…..and for doing an excellent job.

We went with them to do a huge renovation of the pool deck and pool and spa resurfacing based on positive reviews. Unfortunately, they did a bad job and we would never use again. Currently, our waterway stone is dissolving and forming a big calcium deposit under it. They are blaming our pool guy and the water chemistry but we have had him for years before the renovation and this has never happened. The stone is soft and calcium rich and dissolving, and was one they gave as an option so they should take responsibility. They refuse to replace the stone saying we are out of warranty (less than 8 months) and it is a natural stone so not their fault, but they are leaving us in the lurch after we spent more than $50,000. A reputable company with integrity would be mortified and try to help their customers after how much we spent. There were numerous red flags even from the pricing. Watch the numbers and they will charge for extra material that isn’t used and everything goes up. They also didn’t finish or even start in the promised time period, we had to keep blocking off time to finish the job that went months over. The workmanship was sloppy, many stones were chipped, cracked or even with broken lines but still put in and we had to fight them to replace those. They are unevenly placed and the lines look irregular and unprofessional, and some areas even a trip hazard. They cannot keep staff and our original project manager was replaced by another one and now he is gone too with a 3rd one we haven’t met. Jen the sole owner left (idk what happened to the other one Tricia) is not customer service oriented and very unpleasant to deal with. She’s refusing to even speak with me and hides behind her employees who are also rude. No doubt they will respond saying this is all lies like they did with another review, but I would not be spending my time and energy to post lies to warn others. They also left huge unsightly blobs of hard mortar oozing out from the pavers onto the outside knee wall. It took months of me asking for them to clean this up, and large blobs of mortar got mixed into our landscape rocks damaging the landscaping. I wish I could leave a good review and held off this whole time just preferring to resolve issues. Pls see photos of calcium deposit under eroding waterway, and multiple examples of defective lanai pavers put in that have saw marks, irregular edges and even cuts that they tried to hide with mortar. These are just a few but there were so many more. Also, they lied and marble DOES stain and it absorbs every grease spot from the grill and food spills, but they pushed the marble as it’s pricey. Don’t go with them if you want to deal with headaches and fight to fix problems.

A very positive experience from the very beginning to the end! Mark came to our home to discuss the restoration of our pool deck and the the next day we met at the office to discuss tile samples! The lovely project manager, Belin Molina, was also great to work with, explaining the entire project! The work and the workers were here every as expected and were on top of everything.

When I first contracted with Pool and Deck, their payment schedule required the final payment to be made before the job was complete. Pool and Deck answered my objection, as you know where we are. Yeah, but it was a huge leap of faith for me. They held our hands throughout the entire project. With a project this big, you are going to have problems, and it's how they respond to the issues that make this company special. I can only tell anyone worried about this company that they work hard to take care of you, as do their employees. Balen Molina was our project manager. I would recommend her to anyone. She is dedicated to her job and her customers.

So my Mom and Dad finally got a pool!! The new owners of Pool and Deck concepts were fantastic!! My husband and I are so grateful ❤️ My Mom is so excited, and finally got the pool she has been wanting for almost 20 years !! They designed the most beautiful lap pool in such a small space. I was super impressed with the design . I couldn’t believe how much patio space there was around the pool, and the screen in closure is just beautiful. I love the lights and the color scheme they helped my Mom pick out. Overall we were super impressed with the customer service and how comfortable they made us feel during the purchase process. I highly recommend them if you are wanting a new pool.

Our HOA community recently had Pool and Deck Concepts refinish our pool and spa and replace our pavers and pumps. They were extremely easy to work with and with their own showroom, they made the decisions for colors, pavers and tiles much easier. They did the whole project in only one month from the start of demolition until they were finished. Highly recommended!
