The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
These guys installed a new auto fill for our existing pool. They had to dig up brand new pavers to accomplish the work. Can't tell they were ever there. Excellent price and workmanship! Herb Smith, Key West.
After a few text and phone calls, Nick finally showed up on time for our meeting.....to renovate a 10 year old pool. While the clients were impressed with the "TALK" and the verbally quoted price, the follow up was non-existant. After multiple phone calls, text messages and emails, we NEVER got a single response. Will never call or recommend this typical Key West contractor again. Bad business person, at least have the respect for a client to call, text or reply to many emails to say to were not interested inthe work you gave a bid for.
Keys Pool Service saved our sons birthday pool party . We entrusted our pool to "others" who failed to complete weekly cleanings resulting in our pool turning into a swamp !!! I was hysterical that we would have to cancel our sons upcoming birthday party this weekend , until we found Keys Pool Service who was able to come out the next day and straighten out our pool . These guys saved the day and we would not trust anyone else to clean our pool!
Great responsive Local business. We were having some trouble with the pool at a a new home we purchased. After calling multiple other companies in the area with no success we found Keys Pool Service. they were at our home and had addressed the problems within the hour. We now have them service the pool weekly and have never enjoyed the pool more. Thanks again to Kris and the crew.
Amazing Pools of the Keys in Key West: a new Keys-based builder, and what to ask when the record is thin. FloridaPoolz.
Amazing Pools of the Keys works out of Key West and holds two Florida pool contractor licenses issued within two months of each other in mid 2025 — CPC1461049 in June and CPC1461140 in August. Their domain dates to May 2024. This is a new company, and the public record on it is thin enough that most of what you would want to know has to be asked.
New pool construction, renovation, repair and servicing, and spas. Building in the Keys is a distinct discipline — salt exposure, coral rock, restricted site access and permitting that differs from the mainland — so a contractor actually based in Key West rather than travelling down from Miami is a real practical advantage, and it is the strongest thing this profile has to offer.
Two Google reviews at five stars and five on Yelp at 4.2. Seven accounts in total is not a rating and cannot be usefully compared with the Florida pool builder average of 4.52 in either direction. No theme was raised by enough separate customers to report. There is simply very little recorded here yet.
Start with the licenses: two issued two months apart usually means a second qualifying agent came on, and it is a reasonable thing to ask about along with which one covers your job. Then the basics — how many pools have they finished in the Keys, can you see two of them, and can you speak to those customers. Their site has not changed since the end of 2024, so confirm they are actively taking work before planning around them.

Yes, twice over: CPC1461049 since June 2025 and CPC1461140 since August 2025, both current on the state register.
Little. Two Google reviews and five on Yelp. Seven accounts cannot be compared with the state average or show how they handle a difficult build.
Salt exposure, coral rock, restricted access and Keys-specific permitting all differ from the mainland. A contractor based in Key West rather than travelling down is a practical advantage.
Two issued two months apart usually means a second qualifying agent came on. Ask which license covers your job.
It has not changed since the end of 2024. Confirm they are actively taking work before planning around them.
