The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
We hired Azure for our pool/lanai project based on almost unanimous 5 star reviews, despite having to sign the most one-sided contract. Naturally we were expecting a wonderful experience. Our salesman, Jason, was very good and helpful. Unfortunately, we had some issues with the project manager regarding delays and a lack of communications. Also, as with any major project, some of the work was not perfect initially, but in the end, Eddie, the owner was extremely responsive to our concerns, took care of all our issues, and made everything right. We would whole heartedly recommend Azure Pool and Deck Design.
Their staff was friendly when you connected with them and the turn around time was pretty decent but I would not reccomend them. Summary of a brand new pool build started in 2022: - I never had a walk through before build as they promised, and when I did finally get one, the rebar was already laid. I asked for a porch that stretched from one end of my house to the other several times, but they built it was a foot short on one side, resulting in $4k upcharge to fix and $700 upcharge for the fence. The photo plans they showed looked correct but the measurements were off. I didn't realize I had to check their math. - I asked for 5 inch heavy gutter, paid $3k for it and 3 months went by and i had to call several times to asked where/when it was going to be installed. Turned out he forgot about it but cashed the check and prices went up so only got a standard but I could pay more (again) - The pool was not maintained after they filled it with water and the pool finished developed several slotches and when asking about it they said it's normal, or if i wanted to fix it they could drain it and scrub it with peroxide and refill for about $7k. Their response was "but i dont think it looks too bad so I wouldnt worry about it." - Arguably the worst part was they built the auto drain an a hole at the side of our house by the foundation and does not drain because there is no incline. When asking their project manager why they put it here he stated Azure assumes clients dont want to look at it in an obvious place so they hide it out of sight for cosmetics, not function. I asked for 4 months for help with this and when i finally got a response they said its no longer under warranty and told me I had to dig a trench myself to fix it or hire a landscape company. - Since the build I have had to fix a broken seal for $200, the salt cell went out less than a year from when it was filled for $1300. They are very good on all of it to somehow make it something out of their control.
We just moved here full time from Ohio and know nothing about pools. Our home in FL has a pool that has had a few issues. We called Azure to come and give us an idea on what it would take to restore it. Jason was great! He walked through the whole process and why each item needed or didn’t need to be done. It wasn’t your typical sales pitch like we received from some of the other companies in town. We were confident they were the company to go with after our first meeting. Fast forward to the end of our project. So happy we chose Azure! Jason came out at the end of the job to make sure we were happy with everything and review the new automation system we installed. These guys are great! Don’t waste your time with the “other guys!”
Miserable experience with a $30,000++ reno project. Too painful to go into the details of all the issues we had. Our advice: read the contract carefully and question the final payment demand at pool fill. Plenty can go wrong after that, and they'll be done with you.
Azure Pool resurfaced our pool liner, installed decorative glass tile around the pool/spa, and installed tile over the entire pool deck. The planning process and contracting went smoothly, The project started on time, and was completed on time. I was out of town during the entire project, communication was excellent. I received photos/recordings as the project progressed. The quality of work is excellent, the pool area looks beautiful. I am completely satisfied with Azure, and highly recommend them.

Azure Pool and Deck Design of Estero: one of the cleaner records on the southwest coast. Only at FloridaPoolz.
Azure Pool and Deck Design works out of Estero in Lee County, holding Florida pool contractor license CPC1459270, current since April 2019. Their domain dates to 2018, so license and business are close in age, and their services page was revised in July 2026. Their site calls them the best pool builder; nobody can verify that, and the review record underneath it does not need the help.
New pool construction, renovation, repair and servicing, spas, water features, screen enclosures and outdoor living work, with commercial pools alongside residential. Deck work is in the name and is a real part of the offer rather than an afterthought. They publish a page for Bonita Springs alongside their Estero base, so the southern Lee and northern Collier stretch is the working assumption.
4.9 from 66 Google reviews, well above the Florida pool builder average of 4.52 on a count solid enough to be dependable. The agreement is even across three things: six customers praised professionalism independently, six the build quality and four the communication. No complaint theme was raised by two or more people.
Nothing recurs against them. Seven years of trading, a high score on a real body of reviews and no recurring complaint is about as clean as this directory gets. If your job includes decking as well as the pool, ask to see finished examples of both together, since that combination is what they position themselves on. Otherwise the ordinary questions: who runs your build, and two recent addresses near you.
