Coastal Deck & Pools

I would highly recommend Coastal Deck and Pools. They are easy to work with friendly and efficient! I have used them multiple times. The installers are top notch and pay very close attention to detail. Every time the job is perfect and comes out looking better than new. They are my top recommendation for friends and family when it comes to pools!

Do NOT use this company. My husband and I hired them last year for a pool renovation. We have since has to fire them and find a new contractor. They knowingly laid down the incorrect tile and proceeded to tell us we needed to pay to have the tile pulled up and the correct ones laid back down. They also charged us for the new tile. We just learned that the plumbing for our outdoor kitchen was done incorrectly and will have to be fixed. Lastly, we have now realized that they changed the tile on our hot tub and it no longer matches the tile we are using for our outdoor kitchen. I have never seen this level of unprofessionalism. We have contacted the owner and he can’t be bothered by the issues. I hope that this review will save someone else the thousands of dollars and headaches that we have had to endure. As someone who comes from a family business I love to support local, small businesses but I would never recommend using this company.

Coastal Deck and Pools are the real thing! A year out now with our pool remodel, which we are very happy with. Every so often things go "wrong" mostly of our doing, and they ALWAYS show up! Just recently they where too kind, we needed some pool alarms to ensure that our grand children would be safe, it turned out we needed two and offered to lend us one instead of buying two! What great customer service.

Lady that answered the phone made it clear they didn't need my business and are doing me a favor. Said they would send someone out to take a look and give me an estimate. That was 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard a word. Don't waste your time.

Had our pool resurfaced and they did a awesome job! They were prompt and very courteous...i was going away and was concerned about no one being there when it was finished it was finished a day before I left and while I was gone they came over and made sure the chemicals were right which is very important the first month or so and even cleaned it to make sure we came home to a beautiful clean pool. Very happy we chose this company for our pool resurfacing job, it turned out great!

The customer service over the phone was terrible. I called today (August 28, 2018) to make an appointment to get an estimate for refinishing our pool deck. The person who answered, Sandy, had a very rude attitude toward a potential customer because I'm a non-native English speaker with an accent. She apparently did not understand my pronunciation clearly which is OK because it seems like this happens sometimes in Vero Beach since there are not many people from different countries live in this area. However, while I was answering her with my name and home address, she interrupted me and said in a rude and aggressive way that “I can’t understand what you are saying AT ALL because of your language barrier." I thought I misheard her at first but she really meant it and couldn't understand why that would be offensive. I can’t believe someone can say that kind of comment to another directly when we are clearly communicating. We won't be having them over and potentially doing business since they only want to service people who talk like Sandy does.
