The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
We spoke with several pool companies before choosing Dig It Pools, and it quickly became clear they were the right fit. We love our pool and the complete backyard transformation. Our backyard has limited space and difficult access, so we needed a company that could maximize what we had. Brendon listened to our ideas, provided helpful guidance, and designed a layout that fit our space instead of pushing a standard design. The result includes a spacious Baja shelf with a bubbler, a spillover spa, pavers, and panoramic screen enclosure that turned our backyard into a true Florida oasis. The equipment installation is clean, and the phone-based automation is a great feature. The construction process was well organized, with clear communication and regular updates. Caleb, the field supervisor, checked in throughout the project to make sure each phase stayed on track. Dig It handled all permitting and inspections, kept us informed, and even removed our old patio slab and brought equipment into the backyard without damaging our trees despite the challenging access. Brendon and Caleb were responsive, addressed questions promptly, accommodated an enclosure upgrade, and honored their original estimate with no surprises or hidden costs. We started in the spring and were swimming by summer. The project concluded with a Pool 101 session that made operating everything easy. We love our new pool and patio, and guests are always impressed. If you're considering building a pool, we highly recommend Dig It Pools. They communicated well, delivered quality work, and most importantly, delivered exactly what they promised.
Go with Dig It Pools if you’re looking for exceptional quality and professionalism! Building a brand new home is a monumental undertaking in itself, but adding an inground pool into the mix could have easily complicated the process—unless, of course, you’re working with Dig It Pools. From the very beginning, they proved not only capable, but truly exceptional. The quality of their work speaks for itself: beautifully executed, expertly engineered, and tailored to complement my home as if they were always meant to exist together. But what really sets Dig It Pools apart is their unwavering dedication to me and their ability to navigate even the most challenging obstacles. The standout moment came when we hit a snag with the county over a variance. It could’ve derailed everything, but instead of backing down, Brendon, owner of Dig It Pools stepped up—fighting the battle with persistence, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the process. It was a tough fight, but thanks to his tenacity, we cleared the hurdle without sacrificing time or quality. I can’t say enough about Brendon from Dig It Pools. From the earliest conversations to the final water test, he was by my side every single step. His communication (as well as his team)was impeccable, his dedication unwavering, and his presence a true source of calm and confidence throughout the process. Whether it was chasing down paperwork or double-checking the finishing touches, Brendon never let anything fall through the cracks. Dig It Pools didn’t just build a pool—they created a centerpiece of joy, relaxation, and beauty that elevates my entire home. I’m beyond grateful for their hard work, and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to build not just a pool, but a lasting experience. Call them now, you won’t be sorry!
This review is long overdue. We had an incredible experience working with Dig It Pools. From day one, Brendon was professional, responsive, and just genuinely easy to work with. He walked us through every stage of the process, set clear expectations, and never left us wondering what was next. His superintendent, Caleb, also deserves a huge shoutout. He was on-site often, super hands-on, and always on top of the day-to-day. It was clear they both really cared about doing things right. The whole process, from planning and design to the final inspection, was seamless. Brendon helped us figure out what would work best for our yard and budget, and his team handled the permitting and approvals without us having to stress about anything. Once they broke ground, things moved quickly and efficiently. Watching the pool come to life during excavation, plumbing, and shell installation was honestly kind of exciting. Every crew that came through was respectful, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. Caleb kept a close eye on progress and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks. The finishing touches, the decking, interior, and equipment setup turned out better than we imagined. Brendon made sure we were happy with every detail before wrapping up. He even spent time walking us through how to maintain the pool and get the most out of everything. The pool looks amazing, runs perfectly, and has totally transformed our backyard. If you're thinking about building a pool, I highly recommend Dig It Pools. Brendon and Caleb made the whole thing stress-free and actually enjoyable. Can’t thank them enough.

Dig It Pools of Oldsmar: license CPC1458723 since 2015, 4.9 on Google from 66 reviews against a 4.52 state average, and 21 finished projects on show.
Dig It Pools works out of Oldsmar, from South Bayview Boulevard in Pinellas County, at the top of Tampa Bay. Their Florida certified pool contractor license, CPC1458723, has been on record since July 2015 and shows current, with renewal due in 2028 rather than this year — so unlike most of this list their renewal date is genuinely their own and not Florida's shared calendar. The domain dates from August 2015, the same summer as the license, so the company and its website started together eleven years ago.
A deliberately narrow range: new pool construction, renovation, spas and hot tubs, and outdoor living. No weekly service, no repairs department — this is a company that builds rather than one that maintains, which is worth knowing depending on what you want. Twenty-one finished projects are on show, a proper gallery and enough to judge the standard of finish by eye before calling anyone.
Oldsmar is the base and the licensed address is there, in northern Pinellas County where it meets Hillsborough. They publish no pages for individual towns, so their range is a question to ask — Oldsmar, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor, Clearwater and north Tampa are the reasonable assumption. One local number is published. The only email address on the site belongs to their marketing agency rather than to the company, so there is no direct email route in; use the phone. The office keeps weekday hours, 8am until 4pm, closed at weekends.
Sixty-six people have reviewed them on Google and the average sits at 4.9 — 0.38 above the 4.52 Florida average, on a count solid enough to carry real weight. The standout detail is the professionalism: eleven separate reviewers name it, which is one of the highest counts for a single theme anywhere on this list, and on sixty-six reviews that is a genuine consensus rather than a handful of enthusiasts. Six name the communication and four the workmanship. Nothing negative recurred at all — no complaint theme was raised by even two separate customers. Eleven years of licensed trading, a narrow range of work, a real gallery and 4.9 across sixty-six customers is about as clean a record as this list produces.

Yes. Florida certified pool contractor license CPC1458723 is on record in the company's name and shows current, held since July 2015 — eleven years. Renewal is due in 2028, which is their own date rather than the statewide one most Florida pool licenses share. The license covers construction; insurance is separate and no public register shows it, so ask for a certificate.
Very good, and consistent. They sit at 4.9 from 66 Google reviews, 0.38 above the 4.52 Florida average. Eleven separate reviewers name the crew's professionalism — one of the highest single-theme counts on this list — with six naming the communication and four the workmanship, and no complaint theme raised by even two separate customers.
It does not appear so. Their site covers new pool construction, renovation, spas and hot tubs, and outdoor living, with no weekly service or repairs listed. If you want a builder, that focus is a point in their favour; if you want someone to look after the pool afterwards, ask who they recommend.
By phone — one local number is published. The only email address on the site belongs to their marketing agency rather than to the company, so there is no direct email route in. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am until 4pm.
Yes — twenty-one finished projects are on the site, which is a proper gallery and enough to judge how they handle decking, waterlines and coping before you call.
