We just had our pool resurfaced with Frank Hallock of Hallock Pools and we had the best experience from start to finish. Our 20 year old pool looks brand new and beautiful again ! We did a lot of research and got 4 estimates and knew we were going to go with Frank the day we met him. We felt his passion, his knowledge and his genuine care for what he does. Communication is exceptional, he will keep you informed every step of the way and he will respond to every text or call quickly if you need him. Everything was coordinated perfectly and completed as promised. Frank, Frank Sr., and the rest of the team are top notch and take pride in their work ! We will definitely call Frank again when we need "anything pool" related. We highly recommend Frank at Hallock Pools for all your pool needs. Thank you Frank ! John and Cindy

There are many businesses that can build a pool, but, in my opinion, very few can offer design, training, and an overall personalized experience like Hallock Pools! We were very new to pools and from start to finish, Frank and his team were with us every step of the way, he was at the job site anytime there was work happening, overseeing the digging, concrete pouring, and finishing. Before we decided on Hallock Pools, we met with other pool builders, they mainly outsourced everything, but more importantly, they didn’t have the creativity in design and just weren’t very excited to have my business, they also didn’t want to deviate from the “standard”! Frank was completely different, he wanted to build what we wanted, not from some standard design, he was appreciative of our business knowing that pools are a major investment. In the end, we are happy with our pool, it was completed on time and on budget.

We had our 30+ yr old 10’ deep pool resurfaced and pump replaced. The experience was good, I had heart issues at the time and was not able to do adequate brushing on the new surface, but it still turned out pretty well. Frank offered to send me a guy but I thought I could do it myself. If I do it over again, I will pay the additional surface prep charge. Another thing, we had well water and the water had tannins <sp?> or was tea colored. We even purchased a rust and sediment filter to no avail. If you live on a well fed property, consider buying delivered water. It may be worth it vs all the filters and filter flushes, trips to test, etc. Frank is a decent guy with a good crew and they always respond when messaged. Hope this helps someone. God bless.

About Hallock Pools LLC

Learn everything about Hallock Pools of Citrus Springs — their reviews, license CPC1460247, and what they actually build! Only at FloridaPoolz.

Who they are

Hallock Pools works from West Eunice Drive in Citrus Springs, Citrus County, on Florida pool contractor license CPC1460247 — current since May 2023. The domain dates from August 2022. They build custom pools and spas and handle renovation, repair and servicing. Citrus County is thinly served on this directory, so a licensed builder based there is worth knowing about if you are on the Nature Coast.

What the reviews say

Google has them at 5.0 from 37 reviews — close to half a point above the Florida average of 4.52 across the 346 builders on this directory. Nothing on the record reads as a complaint.

Four reviewers name their professionalism and three say the job kept to schedule. Schedule-keeping is the thing pool customers complain about most often across this whole list, so seeing it named as a strength is worth more than the count suggests. The fullest account draws a distinction the reviewer clearly thought about: that many companies can build a pool, and few offer the design and the handover training alongside it.

What they build

Custom pools and spas, renovation, repair and routine servicing, from Citrus Springs. They keep no separate town pages, so Citrus County and the surrounding Nature Coast is what their own record supports. Only 5 photographs are published, which is thin — ask to see more.

Before you sign

Ask for more photographs and for two addresses you can drive past. Ask for a pool finished at the start of the license period rather than a recent one. The record is clean and the schedule praise is genuinely uncommon, so the rest is ordinary: scope and exclusions in writing, payments tied to inspected stages, a completion date with a consequence. Ask for the insurance certificate and read it.

We want to make Quick Quote deserve its name. Unopened after an hour, it may pass to another licensed builder who covers the Citrus Springs area. Not to more than one at a time.

Questions homeowners ask

Answered from this record — not by the business.

Is Hallock Pools licensed in Florida?

Yes. Florida pool contractor license CPC1460247 has been current since May 2023. Ask for the insurance certificate separately; Florida publishes nothing that would confirm cover.

How does their rating compare with other Florida builders?

5.0 from 37 Google reviews, against a Florida average of 4.52 across the 346 builders on this directory — close to half a point above the middle, with nothing on the record reading as a complaint.

What do customers praise?

Four name their professionalism and three say the job kept to schedule. That second one is notable: slipping timetables are the most common complaint across this directory, so having it named as a strength counts for more than the number of mentions.

Where do they work?

Citrus Springs, in Citrus County, and the surrounding Nature Coast. Citrus County has few licensed pool builders on this directory, so a local one is worth knowing about.

Why are there so few photographs?

Only 5 are published. Ask them for more, and for two addresses you can go and look at.
