I would Highly recommend Aquatic Architechs!!!! Took a while to get there. And there were some bumps along the way, but that’s the way it is with construction. The important part is the customer service and the end result!! This pool is gorgeous and gets lots of compliments!!!! Jim and Mellie @ Aquatic Architechs is what is keeping this company on top of their game. Absolutely wonderful! When issues came about Mellie and Jim keep customer satisfaction a top priority. That’s the best you can ask for in a company! They were responsive and quick to resolve minor issues (broken/unlevel pavers or a defective pool light) We LOVE our pool!!! The design is exactly what I wanted and asked for. They also were the only company knowledgable with UV/OZONE pool systems!!! So they were and easy choice! They handled all aspects of the process as a full service contractor… permits, survey, etc. I’m very satisfied and highly recommend them!

I worked with Jim at Aquatic Architects in Naples while planning a redesign of my pool equipment pad, and he was extremely helpful throughout the process. He was very responsive and always willing to get on the phone to talk through questions and different equipment options. Jim clearly has a deep understanding of pool equipment and how complete systems should be designed. He helped me think through pump sizing, filtration, heating options, and how the overall equipment layout should work together so the system would be efficient and reliable. What I appreciated most is that he took the time to explain the reasoning behind different choices rather than just recommending products. That made it much easier to understand the tradeoffs and make informed decisions. If you're planning a pool equipment upgrade or redesign and want someone who understands both the technical side of pool systems and the current equipment on the market, I would definitely recommend working with Jim.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience with Aquatic Architechs! From the very first interaction to the final result, their team was entirely focused on delivering outstanding service and ensuring I felt supported every step of the way. After submitting an online request for a pool/spa combination, I was contacted the very next day by Mary Ann. She promptly scheduled a home visit at a time that worked best for me. During our meeting, she took the time to really listen to my ideas and worked closely with me in a collaborative design session. She not only captured exactly what I envisioned but also introduced creative options I hadn’t even considered. We continued meeting through the design process to fine-tune the engineering details and select finishes such as tiles, pool decking, colors, and the screen enclosure—always with my preferences and satisfaction at the forefront. Once construction began, I transitioned to working with Mitch, who provided the same high level of support and communication. He clearly laid out the project timeline so I knew what to expect and maintained consistent contact through weekly calls or texts to provide updates and address any questions I had. His professionalism, along with that of his entire crew, made the process smooth and stress-free. Aquatic Architechs truly prioritizes their customers. Their commitment to clear communication, personalized service, and quality workmanship made this an exceptional experience from start to finish.

About Aquatic Architechs Inc

Aquatic Architechs of SW Florida, Naples: license CPC056760 held since 1994, 4.5 on Google from 52 reviews against a 4.52 state average, 24 projects on show.

Who they are

Aquatic Architechs of SW Florida works out of Naples, in Collier County. Their Florida certified pool contractor license, CPC056760, has been on record since November 1994 and shows current — thirty-two years, one of the longest runs on this list. The current website dates from October 2018, so the company is a great deal older than its web presence. Three decades of licensed building in Naples, one of the most demanding pool markets in the state, is the fact to weigh first.

What they build

Eight service lines including commercial: new pool construction, renovation, repairs, weekly service, spas and hot tubs, water features, outdoor living and commercial pools. Commercial capability usually means a crew used to inspections and fixed schedules, which tends to help on a domestic build too. Twenty-four finished projects are on show — a proper gallery and enough to judge the standard of finish before calling anyone. No email address is published, so the phone is the only route in.

Where they work

Naples is the base and the license is registered there, in Collier County. They publish no pages for individual towns, so their range is a question to ask rather than something the site answers — Naples, Bonita Springs, Marco Island and Collier County generally are the reasonable assumption, and after thirty-two years they will know the market better than most. Two local numbers are published. No opening hours appear on the site.

What the record shows

Fifty-two people have reviewed them on Google and the average sits at 4.5 — which is 0.02 off the 4.52 Florida average, about as close to the middle of the trade as it is possible to land. On fifty-two reviews that is a meaningful reading rather than a coincidence: a builder performing like the Florida norm, consistently, across a fair amount of work. The praise is more emphatic than the score suggests. Nine reviewers name the crew's professionalism specifically and four the communication, and nothing negative recurred — no complaint theme was raised by even two separate customers. Fifty-two reviews after thirty-two years of trading also means most of their customers are not on that page, which usually points to a company working on referral rather than advertising. Ask for references from jobs finished ten and twenty years ago; with a record this long they should be easy to produce, and how a Naples pool looks after two decades of salt air is worth seeing.

Questions homeowners ask

Answered from this record — not by the business.

Is Aquatic Architechs licensed?

Yes, and for a long time. Florida certified pool contractor license CPC056760 is on record in the company's name and shows current, held since November 1994 — thirty-two years. The license covers construction; insurance is separate and no public register shows it, so ask for a certificate.

How good are their reviews, really?

Exactly average, and the detail is better than that sounds. They sit at 4.5 from 52 Google reviews — 0.02 off the 4.52 Florida average. Nine reviewers name the crew's professionalism and four the communication, and no complaint theme was raised by even two separate customers. After thirty-two years of trading, fifty-two reviews means most of their work is not represented there, so references will tell you more than the score.

How long have they been trading?

The license dates from November 1994, so thirty-two years in Naples, on a website from 2018. Ask to see a pool they built ten or twenty years ago — in Collier County, how a finish survives salt air over that time is the useful question, and only a long-established builder can answer it.

Do they take on commercial work?

Yes — commercial pools sit alongside new construction, renovation, repairs, weekly service, spas and hot tubs, water features and outdoor living. A crew accustomed to commercial inspections and fixed schedules usually runs a tighter domestic build.

How do I reach them?

By phone — two local numbers are published and there is no email address on the site. No opening hours are given either. Twenty-four finished projects are on show.
