The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
Wonderful experience working with Bahama Pools. Worked with Danny Bond and his team to refinish our pool. Danny explained the process and why they are the best. The team that performed the work were great. They were on time and kept the area clean. I think the lanai was cleaner after they left. We are extremely happy with the work that they performed.
We wanted to add a heater to our pool and Bahama Pools were very responsive to our request. They had the heater delivered to us in a very short time and recommended an electrician to do the electrical work - and, he too was quick to respond. Highly recommend Bahama Pools for their professionalism, courteous contact and quick action!
We are having a pool put in by Bahama currently. Danny, the owner, is very hands on and I have spoken to him many times during the process. Pricing we felt was good as was completion time. Biggest learning experience for my wife and I ,is to be prepared to redo your grass and some landscaping after this process as it is the homeowners responsibility, so add that into your pool budget. We feel we got a responsive company, who cares about us as customers. Will enclose photos once project is complete. I would also add that our salesman Jim was also helpful guiding us through the process. My wife loved going to the office to choose finishes in a process they call “ colors and contracts”. Highly recommend. Pool is now done. Basically took three and a half months. Danny the owner is super accessible and you can call with any questions you may have. We really liked him and his office manager Sheila. We also liked that you pay in increments after different stages of the pool are completed so it breaks it down into multiple payments. We love our new outdoor area.

Learn everything about Bahama Pools of Fort Myers — their reviews, licenses from 1990 and 2020, and service area! Only at FloridaPoolz.
Bahama Pools of Florida works from Blackhawk Drive in Fort Myers, Lee County, on two current Florida pool contractor licenses — CPC050496 since March 1990 and CPC1459411 since March 2020. Thirty-six years on the state's register puts the older license among the longest-standing on this directory. They build new residential and commercial pools and handle renovation, repair, servicing, screen enclosures, spas, water features and outdoor living.
Google has them at 4.8 from 33 reviews — close to three tenths above the Florida average of 4.52 across the 346 builders on this directory. Nothing on the record reads as a complaint.
Five reviewers name their professionalism. The most useful account is from a customer whose pool was still being built when they wrote: they describe the owner being hands-on and reachable throughout. A review written mid-project is unusual and it tells you something a finished-job review cannot, which is what the company is like to deal with while the work is still going on and the money is still moving.
They keep written pages for Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Estero, Naples, Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte — south-west Florida across Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties. Those pages are written for their places rather than one template with the town swapped, which is less common on this list than it should be.
Ask which of the two licenses covers your job — one dates from 1990 and one from 2020, and on a company that old the qualifying agent may have changed. Ask for a pool they built ten or more years ago; with a license running since 1990 that reference exists and it is the most informative one you can get. The record is clean, so the rest is ordinary: scope and exclusions in writing, payments tied to inspected stages, a completion date, and the insurance certificate.

A pool they built ten or more years ago. With a license running since 1990 that reference exists, and how a pool looks after a decade tells you more than any recent review.
