Celebrity Pool and Spa

We had a great experience with Shane and Celebrity pools. He was very thoughtful and helpful on the best design that fit our backyard. I didn’t feel like just a number like other companies who didn’t give me any time… His customer service was fantastic, always willing to help and show up when needed. They over delivered every step of the way. We had such a great experience 7 other neighbors within a few months all bought pools from him on our street. I would HIGHLY recommend Shane and Celebrity Pools to anyone.

Celebrity Pool and Spa helped design a pool for us and then inexplicably stopped responding to all emails and voicemails. My wife and I were nothing but nice and polite to them, did not ask too much of them, and provided all the information they asked for. In my personal opinion, any company that would treat potential customers so unprofessionally like this shouldn't be trusted, particularly with a $100,000-plus investment. Moreover, they were extremely slow to respond most of the time, even in the beginning. We had to follow-up repeatedly. They had no respect for our time which is highly unprofessional. I also didn't like how the owner wouldn't quote a fixed price. He wanted a deposit and said he would likely increase our price before he started our pool, blaming inflation but not offering clear assurance in our minds that any price increases would simply be pass-throughs from his suppliers. My wife and I were worried that he would use this as an excuse to extract more profit from us after we put down the deposit. He told us twice that we'd have to just trust him on how much he could/would increase our price. Not very reassuring. Now we have to start all over with a new brand pool company. Very disappointing. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise choosing another company. ----------------------------------------------------------------- RESPONSE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE ON JULY 22, 2022: Regarding "We strive to give each customer we interact with the ideal amount of attention." What a worthless response. That's why you and your salesperson Adrian didn't respond to our last 3 emails and two voicemails. Absolutely horrible service and nothing you can say will change that. When you waste people's time, you lose business. Think about that next time you don't get back to people. Thank God we didn't give you any money.

We had a very big job to be performed on our damaged Spa spillway and no other Pool company would respond to our many calls except Celebrity Pools. They responded and installed a new spillway in one day and it looks great. I highly recommend them for all phases of pool support and construction. The best part is that you can always get someone by phone.

Celebrity Pools is a design/ build contractor for pools/spas/lanai remodeling. A good design/build contractor performs at least 3 functions well: - provides an excellent, well-thought out design plan within a price-performance envelope that is matched up to its clients needs and budget. -provides a realistic, detailed schedule and has the professional resources (experienced trades and vendors) to meet that schedule. -executes the design/build plan with quality materials and workmanship that delivers the product to the client per the schedule. Celebrity Pools did provide an acceptable design, schedule and budget ( over $100,000) that was acceptable to us. However, our experience was: - although the cage and decking were immediately demolished per the schedule, the 3 month original schedule languished for almost 9 months with weeks of non-activity and little communication (other than excuses). - with the exception of the cage and pool equipment sub-contractors (both were excellent), some of the other key trades--concrete finishers paver installation, and sub-surface PVC infrastructure installer, etc.--were inexperienced with modern construction methods, presented sloppy workmanship, and were rarely supervised and carelessly directed by Celebrity Pools. -Thus, the schedule was disastrous; the product quality suffered; and the punch-list unwieldly. Unfortunately, communication and collaboration from Celebrity Pools was almost non-existent and, at times, very defensive. in summary, this provider was negligent; the only scheduled event that occurred on a timely basis was the invoicing for payment.

Overdue review - Celebrity built our pool in the summer of 2021. Shane was fantastic to work with and the finished product turned out great. The communication throughout the project was exceptional - Shane always answers his phone and addressed any concern we had throughout the build. We love how the pool turned out.

*** The MOST unprofessional meeting I have ever encountered in any profession. We are starting to build a new construction home in Bonita springs, and decided to add a pool to the project. My GC who is not local set up a few appointments with local pool contractors to meet at the lot to discuss the project. My contractor called on a Monday, and set up an appointment with Shane for Friday at 1pm. Shane was also told that the owner(me) would be there for the meeting. At 1:30 a man pulled up in his Tesla, got out of his car and the first thing he says before introducing himself is I donâ t have much time this wasnâ t on my calendar. The next thing he says is to my GC why are you coming a few hours away to build, you must be making a lot of money on this build to do that. My GC told him how he specializes in a certain kind of build such as ICF which is what weâ re doing, and that he build all over Florida. He then tells the guy who came who still has not introduced himself that I am the owner and he wanted us to meet together to discuss what we were wanting to do. My GC had the floor plan and exterior drawing ready for the pool people to see how much room we had from the setback to build a pool and deck. The pool guy stated he doesnâ t work this way, and doesnâ t have anything he would need to quote the job. My GC says what do you need we have everything in front of you to see the area where pool would go including drawings depicting how many feet to build etc.. The pool guy then says I canâ t work like this turned around, got in his Tesla and sped off. The whole encounter was only about 10 minutes, and we were left dumbfounded by the encounter. My GC was apologetic to me as he stated he is not familiar with pool companies locally and went by reviews, and location sense we are building in Bonita and celebrity is based out of Bonita. My GC also states that he had talked to Shane on Monday and had this all set for Friday also telling Shane that the owner would be on site when he came. I know it was Shane that came based on pictures on the web. Thatâ s the only way I knew because he never introduced himself. Weather it was because the job we were asking to be done wasnâ t a big money job, or something else he was the most arrogant, unprofessional person I Have ever encountered. My GC was dumbfounded and called the next company who was set to come a few hours later to make sure what he had to show them for pool design and location was enough. The next company stated that was more then enough, and he even came earlier then originally scheduled so we werenâ t sitting there waiting for hours after this first encounter. Pool company arrived introduced himself, and was very kind and professional as you would expect. I would caution anyone looking to have a pool done by this company unless you donâ t care about professionalism, and are willing to deal with someone like this To look elsewhere. I do not review things often, but was left so shocked by this that I had to let people know about the experience I had.
