The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
We had a leak in the spa area for years and could not get anyone one to fix it. The “leak detection” companies started and quit, saying the job was too big for them, and at least ten pool construction companies either did not show up as promised to provide an estimate or never showed for our appointment. Jack Inzerillo of Colonial Pool and Spa’s enthusiastic can-do attitude and extreme helpfulness was a breath of fresh air. He broke the project down into several steps. First the leak repair which required extensive cutting out and replacing pipes and jets that had cracked due to settling of the deck around the spa. Then the addition of jets that the original contractor should have provided, followed by a complete retiling of the pool and adjoining planters with beautiful, contemporary tile and adding up to date electronic controls so the pool and spa can be controlled by a phone app. The work was done by highly competent technicians, primarily Fred and Eric, and completed in a very timely manner. Their pricing for this major renovation was honest and fair. We could not be more pleased and highly recommend this company.

Professional, Thorough, and Extremely Helpful Team! Colonial Pool & Spa responded very quickly to our quote request and set up a professional site visit right away. The estimator was excellent — he explained the entire resurfacing process step-by-step, showed us different pebble and tile options, discussed salt systems and heater upgrades, and walked us through how everything would work with our current setup. He answered every question patiently and made sure we understood the full project. Their communication and customer education were top-notch. We ultimately chose Gulfstream for the complete renovation, but Colonial Pool & Spa is a fantastic, customer-focused company I would recommend to anyone in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area.
We recently interviewed 5 Pool Vendors to refurbish our pool which is 15 years old. We ultimately chose COLONIAL POOL AND SPA because we trusted their representative Jack Inzerillo. Someone needs to be applauded for finding Jack and adding them to their team. He has assembled an outstanding team and is responsive to all requests and concerns. One of his gifted craftsmen, Icedrio, is absolutely amazing in his craft and should also be recognized in this post. His tile work is exquisite and we will be enjoying it for years to come. As a Realtor who deals with lots of Vendors, I hear many disappointing stories concerning all kinds of Vendors. I can recommend several things: 1. Take the time to Interview at Least 3 Vendors before committing to any Service 2. Trust your gut and VERIFY. I am one happy customer thanks to COLONIAL POOL AND SPA, JACK INZERILLO and his gifted team led by ICEDRIO.

Colonial Pool & Spa of Fort Myers: what they build, and one of the strongest review records on the southwest coast. Only at FloridaPoolz.
Colonial Pool & Spa works out of Fort Myers in Lee County, holding Florida pool contractor license CPC1458219, current since February 2012. The domain has been registered since 2007 and the site was active into August 2026. They make no awards or superlative claims on their own site, which is unusual enough to be worth mentioning — there is less marketing here to discount than on most profiles.
New pool construction, renovation, repair and servicing, spas, water features, screen enclosures and outdoor living work, with commercial pools alongside residential. It is the widest published offer of any builder on the southwest coast in this directory. No separate area pages are published, so Fort Myers and the surrounding Lee County area is the working assumption.
4.8 from 302 Google reviews, against a Florida pool builder average of 4.52. A record that large at that score is one of the strongest anywhere here — at that volume the number describes how the company actually operates rather than how a few jobs went. Ten customers praised professionalism independently and four the communication. No complaint theme was raised by two or more people, which on 302 reviews is a meaningful absence rather than a gap in the record.
Little, on the evidence. The one practical gap is that only a handful of project photographs are published, which is thin for a company with this much finished work behind it — so ask for recent addresses in your own area rather than judging from the site.
