Hackl Pool Construction of Lake Worth: Florida licensed since 1999, custom residential pools, only three reviews on record and a website untouched since 2022.
Hackl Pool Construction works from Central Terrace in Lake Worth and has held Florida contractor license CPC057066 since March 1999 — twenty-seven years, one of the longest unbroken records on this list, and the strongest fact available about them. Their domain has been registered since 2000. They describe themselves as family owned; their own site claims both a second and a third generation in the business, which cannot both be the headline, so ask them who is running it now.
Custom residential pools and spas, renovation of existing pools, and water features. Their own headline is precise about it: custom residential, not commercial, not servicing. For a builder this long-established that focus is probably the point rather than a limitation.
Lake Worth, in Palm Beach County. They publish no pages for surrounding towns, so the reach is undocumented. Before anything else, call them — their website was last changed in July 2022 and still carries a 2017 copyright, and the most recent customer review on record is from 2021. That combination does not prove a business has stopped; plenty of established builders let their website rot while the phone keeps ringing. But it does mean nothing published in the last four years confirms they are taking new work, and that is the first thing to establish.
This is where honesty matters more than a number. Google shows 5.0, and it shows it from three reviews. Three reviews is not a reputation — it is three people, and no average built on it can be compared meaningfully with the 4.52 across Florida's builders. What those reviews say is positive and specific: one customer describes a pool built quickly and professionally that has given no trouble in the nine years since. That is a useful thing to read, and it is one account. Nothing on the complaint side appears at all, which on three reviews tells you very little either way. They also describe themselves as an award winner, and nothing on their site names an award, a year or an awarding body, so there is nothing to check — give it no weight. The fair summary is a builder with a genuinely long license, a very thin public record, and a web presence that has not been touched in years. If they are still building, the license history is a real credential. Establish that first.

The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
Hackl did an awesome job building my pool. They were extremely professional and had the pool completed in no time. Hackl is know for building a quality pool and that is what I received. I have had the pool for 9 years now and there has been no problems with the pool. I know so many people that have nightmares when building and owning a pool - you don't have that with a Hackl Pool. My mother-in-law had Hackl build a pool 42 years ago and it held up great. I am in the pool service business and I knew who to work with to build it right. There is a lot to be said about doing it right the first time.

Since March 1999 — license CPC057066, twenty-seven years and among the longest records on this list.
Worth confirming before you plan around them. Their website was last changed in July 2022, the copyright still reads 2017, and the most recent review is from 2021. None of that proves they have stopped — established builders often neglect their websites — but nothing published recently confirms they are active either. Call first.
Google shows 5.0, from three reviews. That is too few to compare with the 4.52 Florida average or to call a reputation. The accounts themselves are good: one describes a pool built quickly and professionally that has needed nothing in the nine years since. Read it as three opinions, not a score.
They say so, and nothing on their site names an award, a year or an awarding body. There is nothing to verify either way, so judge them on the license history instead.
Their own site says both in different places. Ownership and succession are not things Florida's public record settles, so this is a question for them directly.
Custom residential pools and spas, pool renovation and water features. Their headline says residential specifically, so commercial work is worth asking about rather than assuming.
