Hydroline Pools is a solid company from every angle. From the owner, project managers and craftsmen, this is a first class operation. Quality work. Quality materials. Open, honest and timely communication. Bruno, Leo, Maite, Eduardo, Ismael were a pleasure to have handle our project from take off to completion. The team assisted in directing us to selecting quality deck marble, waterline tile and plaster(Diamondbrite) Any issues were addressed and solutions/suggestions were offered and provided immediately. As with any construction project, slight modifications were requested on our part. These modifications were discussed with the project manager Leo, and he was able to assure that our project was to proceed according to our desires and satisfaction. Hydroline Pools team has transformed our backyard into what many friends and neighbors say resembles a resort. We are now able to enjoy our own private oasis any time of day or night. My experience with Hydroline is exceptional and I will continue to use their service to maintain my pool. If you are searching for a pool contactor I highly recommend Hydroline Pools.

Fabulous business. Hydroline pools is like a concierge pool service. They are the highest class professionals. Punctual, fair, honest, transparent, service oriented. I bought a home in Florida and the home came with just a foundation for the pool. After interviewing many companies to determine who I wanted to partner with on building my dream pool I was referred to Bruno and team. This was my first pool build and Bruno and team with white glove service helped me with all my questions and my pool couldn’t have come out better. Building a pool is labor intensive, challenging, and can deal with regulatory hurdles such a permits. Bruno got the job done as close to on time as a contractor can do without going over budget and was transparent on the challenges as opposed to informing my calls. He also advised I wait on my heater to see if it was necessary, I just rehired him to do that installation and I love it. Lastly, I did have one issue with a fountain that was installed, and to no fault of Hydroline the fountain started to rust. They stood behind the work and are helping to remedy a solution.

Hydroline is hands down the best pool company in South Florida!! We had use their services in the past to replace our pool pump and the skimmer, so when we decided was time to remodel our pool, we knew we had to call Hydroline and we are very glad we did. We Couldn’t be happier with our pool renovation results! It really came out amazingly. They kept us informed of everything during the whole process, great attention to details, very organized and never leaving a mess at the end of each day. They helped us picking the right options of materials(pavers and glass tiles) so our backyard dream could came true. We knew our backyard had a great potential to look fabulous, we had the vision of what our backyard could look like, than came the Hydroline Team and made it a reality and blew our minds! They really transformed our backyard in about a little less than 5 weeks, just in time for the family to enjoy the South Florida summer! Thank you very much Hydroline Team.

Hydroline pools, every single person we worked with there, made our pool renovation an absolute pleasure. We have worked with Hydroline on multiple previous projects, and finally did our personal pool. Bruno and his team were able to help make our crazy ideas become a reality. No request was ever an issue, and the renovation turned out even better than expected. The Hydroline crews are amazing at what they do, and every neighbor of ours commented on how incredible it was that they saw the Hydroline crew show up at our house first thing in the morning every day, and work until the end of the day. Bruno, Junior, Ricardo, Marlon, Jack, Gabriel, thank you! I have and will continue to recommend Hydroline Pools to anyone even considering a pool renovation or a pool build. Thank you to the whole team!

Approximately three to five months ago we hired Hydroline Pools, to have the pool interior taken down, new diamond brite ( midnight blue), to reconfigure the interior, add jets, and new tile throughout. The tear down of the interior went fine but; a few issues occurred when they cut the wiring for the pool light in two areas of the deck. Luckily, for them, I had and extra length of cased wiring to pull it through. (approximately 40 feet). Never, did I hear a thank you, or anything, as that is a cost Hydroline pools should have incurred. When we met with the owner(s) and I was very specific about three details. 1) please make sure that the coping was the same as we picked out before delivery. 2) please make sure that the color of the pool would be Midnight Blue. 3) please keep me well informed. None of the above was taken into consideration when the install process started. The coping looked liked it was not mixed correctly, and over half were chipped. The company "Old Castle Coastal" is where the coping was seen in person (by us) and picked out as per Hydroline Pools. The samples we viewed outside and in person were nothing like the delivery of coping. We waited a month for the coping order, and if we re- ordered, we would have had to wait a second month we were told. We had no choice but to have it installed. The Midnight Blue color of the pool, never turned Midnight Blue because; after talking to their pool maintenance person, he said he had " left a note for the week to advise other persons not to add more chlorine." Yet, it happened on two occasions that chlorine was added. Thus, the pool is now lighter than the Hawaiian and Allure color. I know this as my neighbors have those two colors. So, basically my pool color has already been made lighter because of the error by Hydroline pools. The pad for the filter was changed out along with new PVC piping. Never, should PVC be dropped or hammered on as it can crack. Needless to say, that is what happened. To further complicate the above issues; the pad for the filter was placed to low and now my side yard floods. Numerous times I advised the installer that it was to low and what would happened. I had to walk away after relaying to him four times he was creating a flooding issue. I contacted the supervisor (Leo) via landline but didn't get a reply. I also advised Leo ( in person) what happened with to much chlorine being placed in the pool and it affected the color according to their employee. No reply from Leo. The only saving grace was that Jr. (hydroline employee) did the interior of the pool and tile and did a beautiful job. ( except for the Midnight Blue color they did not achieve) Yet, we are left with a flooding issue, coping that looks like a nightmare, and the pool is much lighter than Midnight Blue. Other issues arose, one important one being, I had to contact Hydroline because not enough salt was placed in the pool. They came by and dropped it off, not placing it in the pool. Please refer to some of my pictures.

Please DO NOT use this company for any pool related work;I have paid them 15,000 dollars for a job that started as 10,000 dollars work.Every time their technician comes they create a new problem.Absolutely no communication with any supervisor. Each "technician" is working in their own independent world with no communication to us the customer. After they did leak detection and resurfaced the pool a week later there was a new leak which they even refused to acknowledge for weeks. We had to pay yet again for more and more work caused by their poor workmanship. One week after finishing the work the grout leaked all over the tiles!!!

Company Snapshot

Hydroline Pools carries an active Florida Certified Pool/Spa Contractor license (CPC1460253), issued in 2023, with Bruno Ghislandi listed as the qualifying license holder.

Specialties & Service Area

No county permit history is on file for this profile, so service-area details can't be independently confirmed the way they can for permit-matched contractors. Reviewers most often mention the crew, professionalism, punctuality, and finished appearance of completed work, with recommend being the single most common tag by a wide margin.

What Customers Say

Hydroline holds a 4.5-star Google rating from 47 reviews. One detailed five-star account, describing a full interior renovation, praises the owner and several named team members for honest communication and responsiveness to requested changes mid-project. A separate detailed account describes a different renovation where the coping color reportedly didn't match what was selected in the showroom, several pieces arrived chipped, and wiring was cut during demolition without acknowledgment — quality-issue complaints that also surface as the most common negative tag across reviews (raised by four separate reviewers), alongside a smaller number citing delays.

Bottom Line

Hydroline's review base is solid in both size and average, and the license is active and current, but with no permit record available to cross-check project volume, and a real recurring theme of quality complaints in the detailed reviews, prospective clients should ask to see current project references directly.
