We had an outstanding experience with Youtopia Pools and couldn’t be happier with the final result. Our marcite pool was leaking due to a few cracks and multiple areas of pitting from old surface patches, and their team completely transformed it with a beautiful aqua blue mini pebble finish. Not only did it resolve the issues, but it also elevated the entire look—honestly, it’s a substantial upgrade from the original surface. I appreciated their ability to preserve our original tile, keeping the project both cost-effective and cohesive in design. Randy took the time to listen to my ideas and helped refine them, offering especially valuable guidance on placing the new sun shelf for optimal daytime sun exposure. To complement that, they reinstalled our pool light with a significantly upgraded multi-color LED light, bringing the space to life after sunset. The result is a pool that feels just as inviting in the evening as it does during the day, creating a beautiful, seamless experience from sun to night. Randy and his team worked seamlessly with their subcontractors to stay on schedule and meet the projected completion date. Communication throughout the project was excellent—they were punctual, kept us informed of the start date, daily arrival times, progress at each stage, and when they were wrapping up for the day. This level of communication made it easy for me to plan ahead and ensure my gate was always secured for my pets’ safety. Overall, it was a smooth, professional, and genuinely enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Youtopia Pools if you’re looking for a high-quality finished product at a fair price, delivered by a personable and reliable team.
I am the HOA president at a condo complex in Florida. Youtopia installed a pool pump at our complex in 11/2024. The pump quit working n 11/2025. We had a tight timeline due to health department deadlines. I called them on a Friday and they stated they would send somebody out on Monday. Monday came and nobody showed up. We followed up again and they said they would send somebody out Wednesday afternoon. We had the on-site manager available and according to the manager, nobody showed up Wednesday afternoon, however Youtopia Insisted that they had shown up and that they would have it fixed Thursday for the health department inspection on Friday. They did not show up on Thursday and would not return a phone phone call or text message regarding what was going on. We had to file an extension with the health department in order to avoid getting a fine. They extended our deadline till Tuesday. This was communicated And Youtopia stated that they would have the repair completed before then. Again, they claim they came out Monday afternoon however the on-site manager, who is waiting to meet them states that they never saw anybody come out and they were waiting for them all day. At that point we were told by Youtopia that the pump needed to be replaced and that they had started a warranty replacement for us and another pool company would be handling that. The other pool company did reach out to us and told us that the pump was not under warranty, and therefore the warranty claim was not going to work. However, they sent somebody out to take a look at the pump. This person did meet with our on-site manager and fully inspected it. There was nothing wrong with our pump! The issue was an electric wire coming from the breaker box into the pool pump. It was damaged and needed replaced. The second pool company identified this within 10 minutes of being on site. Although we cannot prove it, we do not believe that Youtopia ever actually even came out to look at the issue or if they did, they certainly did not thoroughly inspect it as the damaged wire was clearly evident. Although we were happy with the initial install the complete lack of communication, accountability, and honesty in our follow up issues is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional.
I cannot begin to say enough positive things about YOUtopia Pools!!!! They did an amazing job installing my LED multicolor pool light and resurfacing of my pool! They did a meticulous job and their professionalism was incredible. I highly recommend this pool company! After putting in a new light and my beautiful pebble tech pool surface, It was a total game changer!! These guys were awesome!!!
I cannot stress enough how horrible my experience was with youtopia pools.I signed a contract with them in October 2024, expecting the pool to be completed within the promised 4 to 6 weeks. Fast forward to April 2025, and the job still wasn’t done, despite them working only seven days in total over six months. The delays were filled with endless excuses, and each time I tried to get answers, I was met with vague responses and empty promises. When I hired them to refinish my pool, I assumed the project would at least be handled professionally. However, after months of waiting, the resurfacing was done—but the pool pump was broken, the filter wasn’t working, and there was a noticeable decline in the overall quality of the pool. None of these issues existed before they touched the pool. To make matters worse, they left trash and debris on my driveway for weeks, and I’m still dealing with concrete all over my lawn months later. It’s incredibly frustrating to have to clean up after their mess. Their lack of attention to detail was infuriating. The deck around the pool was left unfinished and in a total state of disarray, and the pool was left green and filled with algae. They even tried to upsell me on repairs to things that were perfectly fine before they started their work. To top it off, the owner’s son ran over and broke two of my power tools with his truck. I found myself having to learn how to fix my pump and clean my filter myself, and I was left trying to figure out how to maintain the pool. In short, this company is a disaster from start to finish. They don’t care about their customers, they treat their employees poorly, and they clearly have no respect for the work they’re supposed to do. I would highly recommend you stay far away from youtopia pools. It’s been a nightmare, and I’m still dealing with the fallout of their incompetence. Do yourself a favor and find a company that actually values professionalism and customer satisfaction.
They came in and broke ground as soon as my permits were clear and had us swimming in 3 months. We added a couple extra features along the way and they were more than accommodating, simple requests were always handled and not just swept under the rug. Very happy with the finished product and they were considerably cheaper than the other quotes we received from other companies. Highly recommend!!
I am so thankful for this company and for Randy with ALL the help he provided! I had my pool resurfaced and re tiled; Randy and his crew did the job efficiently and beautifully! The price was very fair and all my requests were made. I even felt i had a leak when it was done so Randy came out to do a test and fixed the leak immediately. The clean up was a little longer than expected; however, when I requested it to be bumped up, Randy and his team had the clean up immediately completed and I am super excited with my experience!

YOUtopia Pools works from Lake Breeze Drive in Seminole, Pinellas County, on Florida pool contractor license CPC1459608 — current since April 2021. The domain dates from September 2020. They build new pools and handle renovation, servicing, spas, water features and outdoor living. 7 project photographs are published.
Google has them at 4.2 from 10 reviews. The Florida average across the 346 builders on this directory is 4.52, so they sit about three tenths below the middle — but ten reviews is a very small record, and two negative accounts are enough to produce this number on their own.
Four reviewers name the quality of the build and four their professionalism, and the fullest positive account describes an outstanding experience with a good final result.
The two negatives are detailed and they are about different things. One comes from the president of a condominium HOA: a pool pump installed in November 2024 that stopped working, on a commercial contract where the association is the customer. The other is from a homeowner who signed a contract in October 2024 and describes the experience as horrible. Both concern work begun in late 2024, which is a narrow window rather than a spread — worth asking about directly, because a bad quarter and a bad company look identical on a record of ten.
New pool construction, renovation, routine servicing, spas and hot tubs, water features and outdoor living, plus commercial and association work, from Seminole across Pinellas. They keep no separate town pages.
Ask directly about late 2024, since both complaints on the record start there — a company that had a difficult period and fixed it will tell you what changed, and the answer is more informative than the rating. For equipment, get the manufacturer's warranty documents and the installer's own warranty separately; the HOA complaint is about a pump that failed after installation. Get a completion date in writing. On ten reviews, call two references. The license is real; ask for the insurance certificate.

4.2 from 10 Google reviews, against a Florida average of 4.52 across the 346 builders on this directory. About three tenths below the middle — on a record so small that two negative accounts produce the gap by themselves.
One is from the president of a condominium HOA about a pool pump installed in November 2024 that stopped working. The other is from a homeowner who signed in October 2024 and describes the experience as horrible. Both begin in the same quarter.
About late 2024 directly. On a ten-review record a difficult quarter and a difficult company look the same, and a company that had one and fixed it will be able to tell you what changed.
Yes — one of the reviews comes from a condominium association. Ask for the installer's warranty separately from the manufacturer's on any equipment.
