Absolute nightmare! Do not use Ritzcraft! Unprofessional, negligent, and terrible quality. By far the worst contractor we have ever used. The work is subbed out and is very poor quality (see pics). The owner acts like he can do no wrong and gets offended when you point out any issues. Worst of all, knowing that we have a new baby and a 3 year old, he insisted that we could use the pool 49 hours after they finished. Our pool company couldn't believe it. It would have burned their skin! We are still seeking resolution to our issues 4 months later and are out money from multiple refills and rebalancing. Please save yourself a huge headache and avoid Ritzcraft! To address your response: We had a professional and highly rated pool company do the pool start-up. They, along with two other pool companies we asked, said that there was no way to balance the pool in 49 hours. They had to pour so much acid into the pool to get the pH down from the resurface that it would burn a child's skin and certainly their eyes. All three companies said two weeks minimum to balance the pool enough to use. You blamed a two week delay on a decision that we made within one day. You offered very little in the way of decision making and zero customer service. Your proposed solution to have rounded coping on both sides of the spa pool was not feasible. It would have jammed into our backs when we were sitting in it. I had to come up with the solution despite the fact that I've never even owned a pool. The third party pool companies that I have had look at your work just shake their heads when they see the tile netting coming through the grout. It shows that your subcontractor has no attention to detail. As far as your offer to come out and address the issues that you will actually acknowledge, I sent you an email about it weeks ago to multiple email addresses you have contacted me from in the past and you never responded. We have also asked you twice to provide us the letter for the pool refill credit to give to the water treatment company and you have not responded. I have discussed the texture of brushed pebble with the manufacturer and they insist that excessive roughness (as can be seen in the attached pictures) is not the product itself. It is obvious by looking at these pictures that it is a poor application of the product. The whole pool is not that rough so you can't say it's the product itself. You did not say when we picked that product that it would look terribly rough (see pictures). I don't care what surface we picked. If you used the team of installers that you used that day, it would be a bad resurface. As I said, we told you of the latest outstanding issues and you didn't respond. We told you of the outstanding issues in May when the pool was "finished" and you didn't send anyone out until August and you only did it then because I got one of your advertisers involved and he didn't like what he saw. In fact, he decided to pull you from his advertisement because you refuse to "own" your work. As I said before, we now have monetary damages as a result of your ineptitude and unwillingness to respond to and address these ongoing issues. We will be getting a quote from a third party, one recommended by your former advertiser, to determine the full extent of the damages.

they resurface my pool in 2021. It was right after that I had a big long crack in the first step all the way across the step on the face edge in the front of that steps to the pool. They said they couldn’t do nothing about it because they couldn’t bust it up to fix it because they would have to break the whole pool apart so they put putty in it and it looked like crap. they also damage my edging around the pool when they were jackhammering inside pool they destroyed that they couldn’t do nothing about that because I would’ve had to replace all the edging around the pool all the tile work in the back part of the pool is cracked. they came with some putty when they fix the step and try to fix it. It’s still busted.I have another 2 foot long or better crack under the steps in the deep end and they tell me it’s from the sidewalk top surface cracking but there’s still like a 1 foot of tile edge (see photo of wide edging before side walk starts) before it gets to the side of pool you know the sidewalk didn’t crack the pool cause the sidewalk is like 6 foot above where the crack starts on side wall starts under step it starts, You know it has nothing to do with that crack they Said they couldn’t fix it plus my Warranty is out the warranty is a three-year warranty. It took him so long to come out that the warranty was over like a month before, So why did they even make an appointment and come out because they’re full of crap. They were very nasty unprofessional and had no idea what they’re talking about this will be the second time the pool has been done, They said there was a line crack in the pool that goes all the way a cross pool they seen when they looked at old pictures like there was cracks earlier… I said no it was a tile design line across this pool was done in the 70s That’s how you knowing the deep is on the other side of line from the shallow back then pool is 9 1/2 to 10 foot deep. They have no idea what they’re doing or talking about we lived in this house since the first pool was built. I can’t believe they’re getting a four star rating….They have no idea what they’re talking about so they most likely told me too bad. Then they said they shouldn’t of took the job anyway but they sure did take the money now they ain’t too bright talking like that. Are they. that’s customer service for you. Do you see any cracks by the steps in the deep in the old picture? There’s never been no cracks in that pool in the old surface plus look at the new surface all the white circles and the runs in the pool .This is just awful so I believe him when he told me they shouldn’t have took the job but the only thing I didn’t like is they sure took our money…
