Sharper Image Pools

Current Resolutions - Ok, Sharper Image is Owning it! Thank you Beth for caring enough to talk to me in person. Conclusion = Refund pending but I feel so much better about them. 10/7/25 We love the way our pool renovation turned out. I want to thank everyone but I don't remember everyone's name but Robert, Sandra, Beth and of course I can't forget Anthony! Thank you for a job well done Well then after paying them almost 20 K and my husband passed away suddenly, I couldn’t get a break on the cost (not the issue) so I had to find a different service. However, just in time it seems, my service on my pool was unsatisfactory! (Last week 9/29) Sharper Image = I tell them for three weeks in a row before this week that there’s algae and it needed to be brushed and treated. Since it doesn’t get brushed, algae comes back . They send the same guy who didn’t do it properly two weeks before hand to treat it and guess what because it was never brushed now I have more algae. Not to mention when he tried to leave, and I asked him to come back and look at the green and yellow algae on my pool. He laughed at me. All they wanna do is send me a bill for things that should’ve been covered under my $40 a week, maintenance and chemical charge. And this is how they treat somebody who spent 20k in May and they also know that I’m recently widowed and guess what they don’t give a damn! THATs how they are gonna do me! So now I get to pay the new Pool company to do W/Sharper Image couldn’t seem to do. Google will not allow me to give Negative stars! I wanna post my pictures and I wanna post the picture that the new Pool guy showed me that they’re still algae on the pool but unfortunately I can’t maybe check around on other review sites. The installation and repair and remodel were OK. There were some bumps in the roads, but we could always get it fixed and we were satisfied with the end result of the pool remodel, but when it comes to the maintenance and chemicals, thumbs down.

We’ve been working with Sharper Image Pools since summer of 2021 to build a pool on our lot. The lot is big and came with big possibilities. David was so patient when we brought him idea after idea and worked hard to create us an incredible design with the help of our landscape architect. At one point he had to increase our price after the contract was signed, but the way he communicated the challenges they were facing with inflation were so genuine and heartfelt it helped ease the financial pain. Kip has also been very helpful and used his extensive experience to guide us throughout the process. You could tell he just wanted us to be happy with the end product and knew his stuff when it came to maintenance and longevity of selections. We mostly work with Beth for customer service. She was kind and welcoming at the showroom even when we made her job more challenging by changing our minds multiple times. She always returns call and returns emails when she has all of the information. This is a company that understands the process is just as important as the end result when working with clients.

My dying friend really wanted to get into my pool but it was green. I had spent over $300 on chemicals in the prior two weeks with my supplier of ten years. When that failed, I asked if they could get someone out to look at it as my friend was coming to my house from the hospice center to stay with me in his last days. They said it would be ten days before they could respond. After several phone calls, I found Sharper Image. They were very sympathetic to my needs and sent someone out the next day. He discovered that I had a mustard algae that did not respond to typical treatment. Long story shortened, my pool is now clear and my friend was able to get into it three times. I cannot tell you what that meant to him and me. Sharper Image gets my business and recommendations for the future - they proved to me that they have a commitment to customer care. TWO THUMBS UP!

Sharper Image was a part of our home renovations that included a kitchen and master bath upgrade and new swimming pool. From the planning to the final inspection, they were always only a phone call away. While Helene and Milton altered the timeline, the final result went beyond our expectations. At each phase, each team member explained what was being done, how long it would take, and answered any questions I had during the process. They have returned on multiple occasions to address any issue we've had, from fixing the pool lights (or helping me understand how they work), to replacing pool deck materials that had the slightest imperfection. This is the third pool we've had since moving to the Tampa 30 years ago, and by far the best outcome. Strongly consider them as a front runner if you're considering a pool.
