Our experience with Anthony & Sylvan exceeded all expectations from day one. Before choosing a builder, we explored several quotes and options from other local companies but none matched the level of professionalism, transparency, and genuine care that Anthony & Sylvan offered. Jeremy was our first point of contact, and he truly set the tone for the rest of the process. After evaluating our backyard, he created a custom 3D mock-up of our dream pool on the spot, answering every question with clarity and patience. As first-time pool owners, we were incredibly grateful for the time he took to educate us on the entire process, something other companies barely touched on. Once our design was finalized and HOA approval came through, things moved fast. Construction kicked off right away, and just two months later, our pool was complete! David, our project manager, was consistently hands-on checking in weekly, giving us regular progress updates, and always keeping us informed about the next steps. His reliability gave us total peace of mind throughout the build. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and surprisingly stress-free. There were no delays, no unanswered questions, and no horror stories, just honest communication and top-tier craftsmanship. If you’re considering building a pool, we can’t recommend Anthony & Sylvan enough. Their team turns dreams into reality with a level of care and precision that’s hard to find these days. We’re beyond thrilled with the result and grateful we chose the right partner for such a big investment. If you decide to go with them, let them know we sent you :)

I had quotes from three Highly reputable companies and I am super happy that I chose Anthony and Sylvan pools. Jeremy my pool Designer was very patient and thorough. More importantly, he is very knowledgeable. It was a night and day difference from the other designers. David was my project manager during the build process And he also did an outstanding job. He was very communicative throughout the entire process. But here is the most important part that I want to share, especially if it’s going to be your first time building a pool. This is what you need to look for when you are getting quotes and ultimately why I chose Anthony and Sylvan. 1. Experience and reviews. 2. Warranty (Anthiny & Sylvan has the best warranty) - this is huge 3. Equipment. Do your research on the equipment you will be receiving. Anthony and Sylvan gives you top-of-the-line equipment. If you are shopping, make sure you compare the equipment from other builders. 4. Communication. Anthony and Sylvan has an awesome system set up so you get daily emails for Work completed and what are the next steps 5. Timeline. One company told me 4 to 6 months. Anthony and Sylvan Gave me a realistic timeline And told me their average pool build is about 55 days. We were swimming in our pool in two months. This is not the first time I’ve built a pool, but I will say this is the best pool builder I’ve ever worked with. I highly recommend them.

We installed a pool starting on October 5, 2023 and was completed on November 23, 2023 with Anthony & Sylvan Pools. We were impressed and pleased with the design by Jeremey Siebert and all the materials he picked. Not knowing what we wanted he was able to look at our yard and create a design perfectly for us and our property. It was our first construction of a pool and we had many questions during the process. David Geiger was our project/site manager. He was literally here every single day to ensure all was on track. Anthony & Sylvan does use subcontractors, but you can tell they use the same guys for all projects. The subcontractors were amazing, very punctual, professional and nice. We were so happy we chose them over all the other companies. The time the pool and surrounding marble deck build was unreal. All our neighbors couldn’t believe how fast and how well put our pool was being constructed. We heard all the horror stories of many in Jacksonville. Just know that this company has exceeded our expectations and highly recommend them. We appreciate having Jeremy and David be part of this project and a job well done! (Excuse our photos, new sod will be placed in the spring)

Anthony & Sylvan Pools has a strong reputation in the pool building industry, and working with a team like Jeremy Siebert, the designer, and David Geiger, the project manager, created a rewarding experience for us. Jeremy, as the pool designer, played a crucial role in helping us visualize our dream pool. With Jeremy, we had personalized experience where our vision was taken into account. He was fantastic at suggesting design features that complemented our space, as well as offered insights on layout, materials, and finishes. His experience helped guide us through every step of the decision-making process. David, as the project manager, was key to keeping the project on track. He was responsible for overseeing the construction and ensuring that deadlines were met. David was proactive in keeping us informed about the progress of the pool and the expected timelines. We felt like we could reach out to both Jeremy & David at any time and get answers immediately, I highly recommend Anthony & Sylvan Pools to anyone looking to build a pool. We love our pool!

It's important to remember that when you're driving a company vehicle you're driving a moving billboard. When your driver is driving like a maniac cutting people off and blocking them from merging, it reflects poorly on your business.

Company Snapshot

Anthony & Sylvan Pools operates its Jacksonville-area team under a Florida certified pool/spa contractor license, CPC1459777, name-matched in state DBPR records to qualifier Michael Reid Exum and active since 2022.

Specialties & Service Area

The public permit record on file is older, With a documented permit record concentrated between 2000 and 2002 across neighborhoods including Southport, Ventura, Boggy Creek, Orwin Manor, and Bel Air — a smaller and dated sample relative to this national brand's likely current volume, so it's worth asking directly for a fuller list of recent local addresses. Praise tags from customers lead heavily with design, cited far more often than for most contractors in this batch, followed by communication and crew.

What Customers Say

Anthony & Sylvan holds a 4.9-star average from 80 Google reviews, and the detailed accounts consistently name the same two-person team on recent jobs — designer Jeremy Siebert and project manager David Geiger appear together in multiple five-star reviews describing full builds completed in roughly two months with daily progress updates, and one customer described the company returning 25 years after an original build to help resolve a county permitting records issue at no apparent hesitation. The one available negative review concerns a company vehicle's driving behavior rather than pool work itself.

Bottom Line

The permit sample here is older and thinner than this brand's national scale would suggest, but the review record is deep, recent, and unusually consistent in naming the same design-and-build team by name — a good sign for anyone specifically working with Jacksonville's Anthony & Sylvan office today.
