The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
We had a great experience designing and building our pool at our new home. Brennan was very helpful as we were first time pool owners. What has been most surprising is his service since the job was completed. On several occasions he has come by our property to check questions we had regarding the system and software. We would highly recommend Clear Choice Pools to anyone building a new pool.
Brennan has been in business for several years and has always taken pride in being helpful, knowledgeable and timely! He will go out of his way to help fix your issue in a timely manner and will even answer the phone if you have questions afterward. Do not hesitate to hire him and his company for your any of pool needs! I’m going to reach out to him now because my filter lid is leaking 😁😁
Brennen from Clear Choice Pools recently raised my pool pump, and I couldn't be happier with the results. He had a custom stand built that was made specifically for the exact dimensions of my equipment, and the craftsmanship and quality are outstanding. The installation looks clean, professional, and built to last. He also relocated my pool filter to the front of the stand, making it much easier to access for routine cleaning and maintenance. That attention to detail really shows his experience and commitment to doing the job right—not just completing the work, but improving the overall functionality of my pool equipment. Brennen was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to ensure everything was done correctly. Clear Choice Pools has consistently provided excellent service, and Brennen has earned my trust. They are my go-to company for any pool repairs, maintenance, or upgrades. I highly recommend Brennen and Clear Choice Pools to anyone looking for quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

A Clear Choice Pools of Port Charlotte: Florida licensed since 2020, 4.8 from 22 Google reviews, a small owner-led builder praised for bespoke work.
A Clear Choice Pools works out of Port Charlotte and holds Florida contractor license CPC1459455, current since May 2020. This is a small, owner-led operation and the reviews are unusually specific about that — customers describe dealing with the owner directly from the first call through to the finished pool, and it is the thread running through almost every account.
New pool construction, renovation and repairs. A narrower list than most builders here, and the repair and equipment side is well represented: one customer describes a pool pump being raised on a custom-built stand made specifically for their situation, which is the kind of small bespoke problem a larger outfit tends to decline. Another describes being first-time pool owners and being walked through it. If you want somebody who will engage with an awkward job rather than quote a standard one, that is what this record shows.
Port Charlotte and Charlotte County. They publish no separate pages for individual towns, so there is nothing documenting how far they travel — confirm your own address by phone. Their site has not changed since 2023, though reviews arrive steadily, the most recent within days of this profile being built, so the business is well ahead of its website. They publish a good set of photographs of their own work.
Google has them at 4.8 from 22 reviews, above the 4.52 average across Florida's builders, and 22 reviews is a reasonable base for a company licensed six years — enough to be a record rather than a handful of opinions. The praise is concentrated and consistent: six separate customers name their professionalism and three the quality of the work, with the recurring specifics being responsiveness and the owner's own involvement. One customer describes a custom solution built for their pump; another, as first-time owners, describes being guided through the process rather than sold to. There is one dissenting account out of twenty-two, and nobody corroborates it, so there is no pattern to report here. The honest caution is the ordinary one for a small operation: what makes it good is one person's attention, and that is also its single point of failure. So the questions worth asking are about capacity rather than competence — who covers the job if the owner is unavailable, what the warranty covers and who honours it, and how long a repair call takes in season. On a 4.8 from 22 that is a short conversation, not a concern. Nothing on their site claims to be the best or the number one builder anywhere, which is rarer on this list than it should be.
