The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
We wanted to take a moment and write our sincere review for the exceptional service provided by Bobco Pools throughout the process of creating and building our backyard pool and oasis. From start to finish, every member of their team demonstrated thoughtfulness, patience, knowledge, and professionalism that truly exceeded our expectations. We especially want to acknowledge the incredible support and understanding we received during the period when we were resolving an issue with our homeowner’s association. Their team was incredibly patient, and we are deeply appreciative of the flexibility shown in allowing us the time needed to address this matter. We feel that any other company would’ve given up on our request to wait and probably would’ve raised the price quoted previously. However, this did not happen with Bobco and for that my wife and I are very appreciative. We would also like to extend a special thanks to Rick Johnson for his remarkable patience and professionalism. It was a pleasure to work with him; he made communication easy and clear, always taking the time to ensure that all our questions were answered and that we felt comfortable every step of the way. Rick’s dedication to providing top-notch service is a true testament to the quality of Bobco Pools. Additionally, we want to express our sincere appreciation to other key members of the Bobco Team; Taylor and Matt for their outstanding attention to detail, patience, and professionalism. They were on top of every detail, and we never had to follow up with them about anything. Every request we made was happily taken care of, which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. Thank you again to Bobco Pools, for turning our backyard vision into a reality. We couldn’t be happier with the final result, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of your entire team.
We selected Bobco to build our pool and are delighted with the result. Their project manager was engaged from project inception through completion, and everyone who was part of the construction -from digging the hole to building the cage to installing the equipment- treated it as if they were the homeowners. Bob has a great team and they all speak very highly of him; Bob was on site several times. The pool turned out much better than we imagined, thanks to guidance from Bob’s team. Do not worry; they are not about upselling. In fact, they talked us out of some items we had in mind. They understood the look we wanted and used their experience to build it, with a huge wow factor. I strongly recommend them.
Bobco did an amazing job on our vacation home pool! What a lot of people don’t realize in construction is there are a lot of moving parts, different vendors and obstacles along the way… that’s why it’s so important to do your research and find a company that you know will do whatever it takes to complete the job correctly. Bobco was that company. Bobco went above and beyond to make sure our pool was everything we expected and more. The pandemic has made construction even more complicated. There are material delays, worker shortages and an enormous amount of people wanting new pools. But Bobco kept us up to date, fixed any issues that came up and always kept us informed. Everything we expected was delivered - AND MORE! I highly recommend them.

Bobco Construction of Haines City: Florida pool license CPC1458297 since 2012, 4.9 on Google from 19 reviews against a 4.52 state average.
Bobco Construction is registered to a post box in Haines City, in Polk County between Orlando and Lakeland — so there is no street address on the public record, which is ordinary for a small builder but means there is no yard to visit. Their Florida certified pool contractor license, CPC1458297, has been on record since November 2012 and shows current, with renewal due in 2028 rather than this year, so unlike most of this list their license date is genuinely their own and not Florida's shared renewal calendar. The domain dates from January 2014 and the site was being archived by that December. Fourteen years of licensed trading is a solid record.
The name says construction and the license is the pool one: new pool construction, spas and hot tubs, water features, outdoor living and weekly service are what the site covers. Pool language runs through it with nothing from another trade, so despite the general-sounding name this is a pool company. Sixteen finished projects are on show, a fair gallery — enough to judge the standard of finish before calling, which matters more here than usual because there is no premises to look at.
Haines City is the registered base, in Polk County, roughly between Orlando and Lakeland and close to the Four Corners area. They publish no pages for individual towns, so their range is a question to ask — Polk County, Davenport, Winter Haven and the southern edge of Osceola are the reasonable assumption. One local number is published; no email address appears on the site, so the phone is the only route in. The office keeps weekday hours, 9am until 5pm, closed at weekends.
Nineteen people have reviewed them on Google and the average sits at 4.9, which is 0.38 above the 4.52 Florida average. Nineteen is a modest count — not enough to be certain about, but enough to see a shape, and the shape is good: six reviewers name the crew's professionalism and four the workmanship, with nothing negative recurring at all. No complaint theme was raised by even two separate customers. For a company licensed since 2012, nineteen reviews means most of their history is not on that page, which is common for builders who work on referral rather than advertising. Ask for references from jobs a few years old; that is the part the score cannot tell you.

Answered from this record — not by the business.
Yes. Florida certified pool contractor license CPC1458297 is on record in the company's name and shows current, held since November 2012. Renewal is due in 2028, which is their own date rather than the statewide one most Florida pool licenses share. The license covers construction; insurance is separate and no public register shows it, so ask for a certificate before work starts.
They do. The license is a certified pool contractor license — the construction one — and the site is about pools throughout, with new pool building, spas and hot tubs, water features, outdoor living and weekly service. There is no sign of any other trade on it.
Good, on a modest count. They sit at 4.9 from 19 Google reviews, 0.38 above the 4.52 Florida average. Six reviewers name the crew's professionalism and four the workmanship, and no complaint theme reached even two separate customers. Nineteen reviews after fourteen years of licensed trading suggests a company working on referral rather than advertising, so ask for older references.
Haines City in Polk County, between Orlando and Lakeland. Only a post box is on the public record, so there is no yard or showroom — which makes the sixteen project photographs and a visit to a finished pool more important than usual.
Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm, closed at weekends. One local phone number is published; there is no email address on the site.
