I recently had an excellent service experience with Kenny and his team at Central Florida Swimming Pools regarding an issue with my ScreenLogic system. The problem turned out to be more complex than initially expected, but Kenny approached it with patience, technical expertise, and real determination to find the right solution. He carefully diagnosed the situation, helped me find to identify the problem which was outside the realm of his company. What impressed me most was his professionalism and willingness to explain things clearly, so I understood not only what was done, but why it was needed. The system is now working perfectly — both locally and remotely — which is a great relief. It is not always easy to find service providers who combine technical skill with reliability and customer care, but Kenny certainly does. I can highly recommend him.
Wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy! Stay far far away!
Central Florida Swimming Pools completed our pool in July 2025. We intentionally waited several months to write this review because I think the quality of a company and their customer service is often best measured after they have been paid. The quality of the pool and service is top notch. We are very happy with our pool. Kenny (owner) walked us through the design of the pool and it is perfect for the space we had available. Richard was our day-to-day contact through the construction. Communication was great and he was always available for questions. This is our first pool so we have had questions. Kenny and Richard have helped us to understand the system and troubleshoot water quality questions/issues. The only issue we had in construction was with the pool cage subcontractor, Affordable Aluminum Specialist. We had issues with the doors, incomplete work, etc. and the owner, Charles, was very difficult to work with. Kenny and Richard worked with us through this issue and made it right. I do not believe they are still using this subcontractor but if so, I would strongly encourage you to find an alternative cage company. Despite this, we had a really good experience with Central Florida Swimming Pools. We love our pool and would definitely recommend them. Great quality. Great communication.
We could not recommend this company less. We started with them 6 years ago and had a completely remodeled pool to turn over to their service. 2 years ago we realized they were not maintaining it properly causing significant damage to the tiles and marcite by failing to brush and vacuum. At that time they apologized and worked hard to restore the pool to its previous condition. Now, we are in even worse shape. The company has apparently quit proper maintenance many months ago which has likely resulted in permanent damage. Perhaps even worse is their attitude. They simply could not care less. We have been paying them month after month for a service we were not receiving even though we were billed every month (and promptly paid) as if the service was being completed. I would highly recommend you stay very far away from this company. They will damage your swimming pool and charge you for service not provided just as they have to us.
Kenny, Richard, and the rest of the team at Central Florida Swimming Pools did an amazing job with our project! From our initial meeting, Kenny displayed the utmost confidence with respect to incorporating our new pool into our existing hardscape. Kenny helped us achieve a design that was functional, maximized our space, and above all else, aesthetically pleasing. The results speak for themselves! It’s worth noting that our pool finished over a year ago so this review is after the honeymoon phase 😊 Kenny’s price was competitive and didn’t change at all despite escalating material prices during the Covid time period. The overall build time seemed longer than expected, but I appreciated their dedication to quality over rushing to completion. Change orders and minor touch ups were handled promptly with no questions asked. Every single person from the Central Florida team and their contractors were extremely respectful and knowledgeable. Customer service is a high point for this team and it genuinely seemed like they went out of their way to ensure we were 100% satisfied with the end result. This is where our construction manager really shined; by the end of the project, Richard felt like an old friend! Without a doubt, Central Florida Swimming Pools would earn my business again!
Our pool and birdcage was recently completed and we are happy! As first-time pool owners, we had many questions which were always answered by either Kenny (owner) or the foreman assigned to our project, both very knowledgeable and respectful. Having been in business since 1968 and locally owned, we felt the company had the know-how and resources to address any issue which may arise. Each stage was scheduled promptly and completed professionally and with very capable people. We highly recommend Central Florida Pools.

Central Florida Swimming Pools of Ocala: a Florida license held since 1990, 4.5 on Google from 71 reviews, and organised galleries by project type.
Central Florida Swimming Pools works from South Magnolia Avenue in Ocala, Marion County. Their Florida contractor license, CPC050529, was issued in March 1990 and is current — thirty-six years of unbroken certification, which puts them among the three or four longest-licensed builders on this list. Their claim to be state certified is accurate: that is precisely what the license is. They also describe themselves as family owned, which is their own account rather than a matter of public record. Thirty-six years is the strongest verified fact here, and it is a real one — a Florida contractor license does not survive that long by accident.
New pool construction, renovation of existing pools, ongoing pool service, spas and hot tubs, water features and outdoor living work. Six lines rather than a catalogue. They publish twenty-four project photographs across separate galleries for pools, spas and special features — a proper portfolio, organised by what you might be looking for, which is more than most builders here manage. They updated the spa gallery in July, so the site is being tended. They publish no opening hours, so phone before travelling.
Ocala and Marion County. They publish no separate pages for individual towns, so there is no documented town-by-town service area — Ocala, Belleview, The Villages and the surrounding county is the sensible reading, and anything further worth confirming by phone. They are one of very few builders on this list covering the Ocala area at all, which for anyone in Marion County narrows the choice considerably. Two local numbers and an email address are published; there was activity on the site in July.
Google has them at 4.5 from 71 reviews, which sits within a rounding error of the 4.52 Florida average — dead level for the builders we hold. Seventy-one reviews is a solid sample, so that is a dependable reading rather than a good spell: a steady, long-established firm. Five separate customers name their professionalism and three the quality of what was built. The single most useful review on record comes from a customer who had their pool finished in July 2025 and deliberately waited several months before writing, on the grounds that the quality of a pool is not visible on handover day — that is a review worth more than five enthusiastic ones, and it was positive. No complaint theme reaches our floor of two customers naming the same thing, so there is no recurring problem we can assert. Two individual accounts are still worth knowing, and both concern the maintenance side rather than construction. One is from a customer who had a pool remodelled by them six years ago, handed it to their service arm afterwards, and says that two years in they realised it was not being maintained properly. The other is a flat refusal to recommend with no detail given. Neither is a pattern across 71 reviews. The distinction they suggest is a practical one: this is a builder with thirty-six years behind it, and the questions to ask are about the ongoing service contract rather than about whether they can build a pool.

Since March 1990 — thirty-six years, among the longest on this list, and current. Their claim to be state certified is accurate; that is exactly what the license is.
Google has them at 4.5 from 71 reviews, level with the 4.52 Florida average on a solid sample. Five customers name their professionalism and three the build quality. The most useful account is from a customer who waited several months after handover before reviewing, precisely because pool quality is not visible on day one — and who was positive. No problem was raised by two or more customers.
Their maintenance service rather than their building. One customer had a pool remodelled by them, put it on their service contract, and says that two years later they realised it had not been maintained properly. That is one account rather than a pattern, but if you intend to keep them on afterwards, ask how visits are logged and what the service actually covers.
They are in Ocala and publish no pages for individual towns, so Ocala, Belleview, The Villages and the surrounding Marion County is the sensible reading. They are one of very few builders on this list covering the Ocala area at all, which narrows the choice usefully if that is where you are.
Yes, and better organised than most — twenty-four project photographs across separate galleries for pools, spas and special features, so you can look at the kind of job you are actually planning. The spa gallery was updated in July. They publish no opening hours, so phone before travelling.
