Definition Pools of Mims: Florida licensed since March 2024, a flat 5.0 on Google from five reviews, building along the Brevard and Volusia coast.
Definition Pools works out of Lake Harney Woods Boulevard in Mims, at the northern end of Brevard County, and holds Florida contractor license CPC1460559, current since March 2024. Their domain dates from 2023 and the site itself went live in 2024, so this is a new company on every measure and the record below should be read that way.
New pool construction, commercial pools, renovation of existing pools, servicing, spas and outdoor living space. Commercial work is unusual for a company this newly licensed. What the reviews describe is the design conversation and the materials rather than speed: one customer walks through the whole job from design phase to completion and singles out the selection of materials at a reasonable price, and another says the finished pool came out exactly as they had pictured it. That is a small number of accounts, but they are specific.
Mims is the licensed base, and the reviews put their work rather further afield — one describes a custom pool built beachside in New Smyrna Beach, which is up into Volusia County. They publish no separate pages for individual towns, so there is nothing documenting a service area; on the evidence they travel the Brevard and southern Volusia coast, but confirm your own address by phone. Their site was updated in spring 2026, so it is being looked after.
Google has them at a flat 5.0 — from five reviews. That is above the 4.52 average across Florida's builders, and five reviews is far too few for the average itself to carry weight in either direction. There is no complaint from anyone, but on five accounts that tells you very little either way, and no praise topic clears the threshold of three separate customers naming the same thing. What is genuinely useful here is the content rather than the score: two of the five describe the job in enough detail to be credible, including one who names the location, the phase of work and the materials. That is a better signal than a star average this thin. Everything else about them is short: licensed two years, a website two years old, five reviews. They make no awards claims and no superlative claims, which is unusual and quietly to their credit — there is nothing here that needs discounting. The practical approach is the one for any builder at this stage: ask to see a pool they finished a year or more ago rather than a recent one, ask who holds the license on site, keep payments behind completed stages, and get the warranty in writing. None of that is a criticism. It is what you do when the evidence is good and there is not much of it yet.

The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
Cameron and his team did a new construction pool on our home in Geneva. They were very easy to deal with, and extremely accommodating on scheduling around our house build. If you’re looking for a stress free, easy going process with your pool this is the company to call.
Definition Pools built a custom pool for us in New Smyrna Beach on beachside. They were outstanding as were thier contractors from the design phase through pool completion. They were easy to work with and had excellent materials selections at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them.
It was a true pleasure working with Cameron at Definition Pools. He was incredibly patient and spent time helping me research options, even making several trips to tile stores to find the perfect match for my 11-year-old pool tile. Cameron visited the site frequently to monitor the subcontractors and make sure each phase of the job stayed on schedule. Whenever an issue came up, he handled it quickly and efficiently.

Yes. Florida contractor license CPC1460559 has been current since March 2024.
Google reads a flat 5.0 from five reviews — above the 4.52 Florida average, but five is far too few for the average to mean much. Two of the five are detailed: one walks through a custom pool built beachside in New Smyrna Beach from design to completion and praises the materials and the price; another says the pool came out exactly as envisioned. No complaint appears from anyone.
Not very, and it is worth weighing against the perfect score. The license dates from March 2024 and the website from later that year. Five reviews is a start, not a track record.
Mims is the licensed base in northern Brevard, and the reviews describe work as far as New Smyrna Beach in Volusia. They publish no pages for individual towns, so confirm your own address by phone.
Yes — commercial work sits alongside new residential construction, renovation, servicing, spas and outdoor living space. That is uncommon for a company licensed this recently.
To see a pool they finished a year or more ago rather than a recent one, who holds the license on site, and the warranty in writing. Keep payments behind completed stages. Standard practice with a short record, not a reflection on them.
