The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
Zach has been absolutely incredible since he has taken over the care of our unique pool. We have a fully enclosed salt pool used for events and Zach has kept it looking pristine. He has gone out of his way more than once to help me solve problems and is always very responsive to calls/texts. We highly recommend him for any pool maintenance needs!
Higgs Custom Pools of Holly Hill: twenty photographs, one review, and exactly what to ask about both. FloridaPoolz.
Higgs Custom Pools works out of Holly Hill in Volusia County, holding Florida pool contractor license CPC1461051, current since June 2025. Their domain dates to September 2023, so the business existed before the license issued — worth asking what pool work preceded it and under whose license. They make no superlative or award claims on their own site.
New pool construction, renovation and servicing — a narrower published offer than most, with no spas, water features or screen enclosures listed. No separate area pages are published, so Holly Hill and the surrounding Daytona and Volusia coast is the working assumption. A good set of project photographs is published, though the site was last changed in September 2025.
One Google review, rated five stars. That is not a rating and cannot be treated as one — a single account says nothing about how a builder handles a delay, a change or a disagreement, and comparing it with the Florida average of 4.52 would be meaningless. There is no review evidence here in either direction.
Everything, and the photographs are the place to start: there are twenty of them and only one review, so ask which are their own completed builds, where, and when. Then ask how many pools they have finished since the license issued in June 2025 and what they did before that. Ask for two Volusia addresses you can drive past and two customers you can call. None of this counts against them — it is simply that the usual shortcuts do not work on a record this thin.

Yes. Florida pool contractor license CPC1461051 has been current since June 2025 and is current on the state register.
Nothing meaningful. It rests on a single Google review, which cannot show how a builder handles a difficult job and should not be compared with the state average.

New pool construction, renovation and servicing. Spas, water features and screen enclosures are not among what they publish.
Which of the published photographs are their own completed builds and when, how many pools they have finished since June 2025, and for two Volusia addresses you can visit.
