The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
I recently had my pool resurfaced, new LED lights put in the pool and spa, and my deck repainted. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, the team showed up exactly when they said they would, completed every part of the job with care and expertise, and left the space spotless at the end of each day. It is rare to find a company that delivers this level of consistency and craftsmanship. A special shout-out goes to Mathew, who truly made the project exceptional. He guided the entire process with confidence and clarity, kept everything running smoothly, and answered every single question I had - and I had plenty. His communication, patience, and attention to detail went above and beyond and gave me total peace of mind. You can tell he takes real pride in his work and in making sure that customers feel supported every step of the way. The final result is stunning, the work was completed faster than I expected, and the whole experience was stress-free. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality, reliability, and outstanding customer service.
When we started looking for a pool builder for our backyard, we had a few companies provide quotes, but we were already leaning toward Legacy based on the great work they did on my dad’s pool. After meeting with Matt and the owner, Darren, it confirmed our decision. They really understood our vision and came up with a design we loved. Unfortunately, during the permitting process, we discovered an issue with our survey that left us without enough space for the pool we had planned. While I’m still dealing with that situation, Legacy handled everything on their end the right way. They returned most of our deposit, only deducting for what was completed by engineering. You hear a lot of stories about companies taking deposits and disappearing — that is absolutely not the case here. They are honest, professional, and genuinely good people! I would confidently refer them to anyone!
What an amazing job these guys did. Firstly Matt is a great salesperson. You could not wish for a nicer guy and with NO PRESSURE. My fiberglass pool needed resurfacing. It was originally white and was showing signs of wear. Moses and his brother came in very professionally and with great respect and work ethic. The resurfacing was done in a very timely manner and they met all my expectations. Everyone was polite and respectful which goes a long way. The new handrail and ladder was purchased by myself and these guys did the installation making repairs as best as possible to the concrete and tile which was already showing signs of damage from over the years. I would recommend everyone at Legacy Custom Pools in a heartbeat and i am glad and grateful that i came across them on Google to do the renovation. You can see from the before and after photos shown here what a difference these guys made and i am more than satisfied.

Legacy Custom Pools of Port St Lucie: a rare perfect record across 131 reviews, and the license question behind it. FloridaPoolz.
Legacy Custom Pools works out of Port St Lucie, holding Florida pool contractor license CPC1461248, current since October 2025. That is a recent license set against an unusually large review record, which is the first thing to ask them about — 131 reviews do not accumulate in a few months, so the business almost certainly operated before the license issued and under some other arrangement.
New pool construction, renovation, repair and servicing, spas, water features and outdoor living work. No separate area pages are published, so Port St Lucie and the surrounding Treasure Coast is the working assumption. Only a couple of project photographs are published, which is very little to judge finished work by given the size of their review record.
5.0 from 131 Google reviews, against a Florida pool builder average of 4.52. A perfect score held across 131 reviews is rare and genuinely difficult to achieve — at that volume it is a description of how they operate rather than a run of good luck. Ten customers praised professionalism independently, five the build quality and three their keeping to schedule. No complaint theme was raised by two or more people.
The gap between the license date and the review count is the one real question, and there are ordinary answers — a change of qualifying agent, a restructure, or work previously carried out under another license. Ask which, and ask which license covered the pools in the reviews you are reading. Then ask to see finished work: two photographs against 131 reviews means the site tells you almost nothing about what they build, so get addresses.

131 reviews do not accumulate in a few months. Ask what changed in October 2025 and which license covered the pools in the reviews you are reading.
Barely. Only a couple of project photographs are published against 131 reviews, so ask for finished addresses on the Treasure Coast.
