We are incredibly pleased with how our new pool turned out...it is beautiful! After working with several pool companies, we finally settled on going with Southern Elegance Pools because John was easy (and responsive) to work with during the design stage, and offered creative suggestions that we incorporated into our design. Once construction started, Jason and the Team kept us fully briefed on the process and progress, and encouraged feedback from our perspective. Overall, construction was smooth and timely, allowing minimal disruption to our space and yard. They were quick to respond to our many questions during that process, and later inquiries on pool utilities / equipment use. Again, our pool is beautiful both to use and view, thanks Southern Elegance Pools.

Way too pricey for such little work, another company just trying to get rich off one job

We had an exceptional experience working with Southern Elegance Pools from start to finish. From the initial design phase to the final touches, the entire process was smooth, professional, and truly enjoyable. John was phenomenal—he helped us design our pool with patience and expertise, spending countless hours creating renderings and never once showing frustration despite our many revisions. His thoughtful guidance made all the difference. Jason, our project manager, was outstanding. He was on site throughout the build, always generous with his time, quick to answer questions, and diligent in keeping us informed of each step in the process. Jennifer and Ashley, the owners, have built a company that runs like a well-oiled machine. Each week, we received detailed email updates outlining our current phase, the upcoming steps, and the timeline—so we never felt the need to check in or follow up. It was truly stress-free. Even before construction began, they went above and beyond. We needed to remove trees and relocate a sewer line, and they were right there offering to flag the pool outline for the plumber. That level of care and service gave us tremendous confidence moving forward. It’s clear that Southern Elegance Pools has earned a reputation for excellence in our community, and now we understand why. We’re incredibly grateful for their patience, professionalism, and commitment to quality. Highly recommend!

Very expensive prices for the work, they are an absolute ripoff

We spoke with several local companies before choosing Southern Elegance, but NONE of them gave us the same confidence and comfort that we felt with John Lillo. From the very beginning, John was patient, genuine, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He worked with us on our budget and design without ever making us feel pressured, and it honestly felt like talking to a trusted friend. For such a big and permanent investment, having that kind of reassurance made all the difference. Once we moved forward, the experience only got better. Jason, our project manager, was incredibly responsive to any concern we had and always went the extra mile to make sure we felt taken care of. The absolute best! Every crew member working on the project—from pavers to rebar—was professional and did excellent work, and Jennifer even stopped by with an incredibly thoughtful gift after the pool was finished. We’ve now had our pool for several months and haven’t run into a single issue—it’s been nothing but smooth sailing. The whole team went above and beyond, and we truly love our pool!! It has become the highlight of our day. I cannot recommend the team at Southern Elegance highly enough. They made our dream come true!
