I cannot say enough great things about Clearwater Pools and the outstanding experience I had working with them. Building a custom pool is a major investment, and after going through the entire process, I can confidently say I made the right choice. Our project took nearly two years from start to finish, but it's important to clarify that the delay was not due to Clearwater Pools. The timeline was primarily the result of an extremely lengthy and challenging zoning variance process with the City of Miami. Throughout that entire process, Clearwater never lost focus. They remained patient, professional, and persistent every step of the way. They worked closely with engineers, architects, and the City, continually pushing the project forward instead of giving up or taking shortcuts. Their determination ultimately helped us obtain the zoning approval and flexibility that allowed us to build the pool we had envisioned from the very beginning. I want to give special recognition to my project manager, Luis. He was exceptional throughout the entire project. His professionalism, communication, knowledge, and attention to detail were outstanding. He was always available to answer questions, explain the next steps, and make sure every phase of construction was completed properly. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about the quality of the finished product and treated the project as if it were his own. The craftsmanship of the entire Clearwater team was excellent. Every trade involved demonstrated pride in their work, and whenever a question or issue arose, it was handled promptly and professionally. There was never any pressure to settle for something less than what was promised. What impressed me most was Clearwater's commitment to seeing the project through despite the obstacles. Many companies would have become frustrated or simply moved on after such a long and complicated permitting process. Clearwater stayed committed, continued advocating for us, and never stopped working toward the goal of making our dream pool a reality. That level of dedication is rare. The finished pool exceeded our expectations. The quality, workmanship, and attention to detail are evident throughout the entire project, and we couldn't be happier with the final result. If you're looking for a pool builder that is honest, knowledgeable, professional, and committed to delivering a high-quality product—even when faced with difficult permitting and zoning challenges—I highly recommend Clearwater Pools. Their perseverance, expertise, and customer service made all the difference, and I am incredibly grateful to Luis and the entire Clearwater team for helping turn our vision into reality.
The worst company. Their staff is very rude . The work is horrible. One of the staff members i believe her name is Linda was insulting me on the phone . i never in my whole life had been spoken to like Her, at one point she told me I was wasting her time! i believe in the old saying the customer is always right. beware of this people.
I had clear water pools build a pool for my family and I over 2 years ago ! Any time I needed services I just made a phone call and everything was taken care of no ands ifs or buts... we have a 3 year warranty with all equipment! I called a few times for a few minor things and they took care of it instantly! I always appreciate good service especially after my final payment year's later! This company is LEGIT !! They do the right thing even if it cost them money to do it! A company with a conscience!! Thats what im talking about!! All I can say is thank god I made the right choice with clear water pools & patio. Special shout out to the office manager Linda who never disappoints and always goes above and beyond for the customer.. Clear water is the Standard in Pools everything!!! Kind regards Dave R....
Please consider looking for another maintenance company and avoid the headache of dealing with their lack of professionalism. Poor customer service and highly unsatisfied customers. Whenever the pool needed service or whenever I emailed for maintenance....their response was an explanation of what they had done rather than scheduling an appointment to address the situation. Bottles were left in the patio, baskets and filters were not thoroughly cleaned regular, house gates were left open several times.
The pandemic had us all stuck at home, so we figured it was a good time to finally move forward with our dream to have a pool. I reached out to Clearwater through their Yelp profile and got a response very quickly from Linda. She scheduled Ken, the owner, to come out and see our property and discuss our ideas so he could provide a quote. We had two other companies come out to provide estimates. Clearwater was very reasonable in their pricing and came in as the middle quote; not the cheapest, not the most expensive. But Ken was the most knowledgeable and spent the most time with us. He helped us understand the prep work involved, explained the phases of the project and the estimate they provided seemed much more thorough than the others. We decided to hire them to build our pool. The process, like any construction project, had a few bumps in the road. The way those bumps were handled was with professionalism and efficiency. The Clearwater crew were hardworking and skilled. Shout out to Rudy and the tile guys because their dedication to the craft is something I notice every time I get into my pool. They did beautiful tile work. The project was managed well and each phase went as planned. There were no unexpected expenses in this process. As mentioned before, the estimate was thorough. The finished product is AMAZING! I will admit that I'm picky and not always the easiest to work with. I'm an architect and had a specific vision, one that Clearwater helped bring to life. I'm not exaggerating when I say they met and exceeded my expectations. Our pool was completed near the end of last year and we have been enjoying it very much. The kids get in daily, which is saving my sanity this summer! Huge thanks to Clearwater!
Had an appointment for an estimate on my pool today at 3:30. I called to confirm my appointment this morning and was told we were still ago. So I leave work early to make sure I make my appointment, only to get a call canceling the appointment because "It was raining where he was at" mind you it is sunny at my house and if you live in Miami you know it can be raining across the street and not at your house. So I tell him it is not raining here and he says yeah but it will be. It is now 30 minutes later and still blue skies. If this is how the company operates before they have your money I can't imagine once you give a deposit. I was dealing with Carlos which apparently is their guy for estimates. Be warned!!! If I were you I would look into a different company as I am doing.

Clearwater Pool and Patio of Miami: Florida licensed since 2009, 4.8 from 79 Google reviews and 3.9 on Yelp, with complaints concentrated on weekly servicing.
Clearwater Pool and Patio works out of south Miami-Dade and holds Florida contractor license CPC1457917, current since July 2009 — seventeen years. Their web presence goes back further still, to 2006. Despite the name they are a Miami company, not a Clearwater one, which is worth knowing before you place a call. They describe themselves as family-owned; no public record settles that either way.
New pool construction, renovation, repairs, weekly servicing, spas, water features and outdoor living. Both halves of the business matter here and they do not read the same way, so it is worth separating them. The construction and renovation accounts are consistently strong — seventeen customers name their professionalism, six the communication and five the quality of the work, which is a broad and specific base of praise. The weekly service side is where the complaints sit.
Miami and Miami-Dade. They publish no separate pages for individual towns, so there is nothing documenting how far they travel and it is worth confirming your address by phone. Their site was last updated in August 2026 — on the weekly service page — and reviews arrive continuously, the most recent within weeks of this profile being built.
Google has them at 4.8 from 79 reviews and Yelp at 3.9 from 14, averaging 4.66 across 93 — a little above the 4.52 average across Florida's builders, on a base large enough to carry weight. The praise is the most broadly-sourced thing on this profile: seventeen separate customers on professionalism is unusual even among well-reviewed builders here. The negative accounts have a shape worth reading rather than counting. Of the handful on record, most are about maintenance and servicing rather than a build — a long-standing customer unable to get a response to repeated calls about pool cleaning and repair, an emailed maintenance request going unanswered, and one describing a phone call with a staff member as rude. One is about a cancelled estimate appointment. And one is instructive in the other direction: a customer who complained about communication updated their own review a week later to say the owner had gone out of his way to put things right and the work was complete. No two of these describe the same failure, so there is no pattern to report — but the distribution points somewhere useful. If you are hiring them to build or renovate, the record is strong. If you are hiring them for weekly service, ask specifically how service requests are logged and who answers them, because that is the only part of this record that repeats.

No. Despite the name they are based in south Miami-Dade and work Miami. Worth knowing before you call.
4.8 from 79 reviews on Google and 3.9 from 14 on Yelp, averaging 4.66 — above the 4.52 Florida average. Seventeen separate customers name their professionalism, six the communication and five the build quality, which is an unusually broad base of praise.
Mostly the servicing side rather than building. A long-standing customer could not get a response to repeated calls about pool cleaning and repair; an emailed maintenance request went unanswered; one customer found a phone conversation rude; one estimate appointment was cancelled. No two describe the same failure, so there is no pattern — but they cluster on service rather than construction.
Ask first how service requests are logged and who answers them. That is the only part of this record that repeats, and it is the one question worth settling in advance. For building and renovation the record is strong.
That is their own line. Nothing independent ranks Florida builders. The 4.8 from 79 reviews stands on its own without it.
