The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
We had an excellent experience with Fontaine Pools and, in particular, with Chino throughout our entire pool project. Chino is a great contractor—professional, attentive, responsive, and always on point. From the initial planning stages through project completion, he remained present and involved every step of the way. He consistently kept us informed, addressed questions promptly, and ensured everything stayed on track. Our project began in late March and was completed in May, taking approximately six weeks from start to finish. The quality of the work, communication, and overall project management exceeded our expectations. If you’re considering building a pool, I highly recommend Fontaine Pools and Chino. His dedication, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
I got a 12x30 inground pool, and it’s been awesome. Here’s what I think: 👍 Size & Look • Not too big, not too small—great for relaxing or playing. • The rectangle shape looks clean and modern. 💦 Use & Fun • Shallow on one end, deeper on the other. Good for kids and adults. • Great for floating, swimming, or hanging out with friends. • Easy to clean with a good filter and pool robot. 🔧 Setup & Cost • Took about 6 weeks to install. • Price was fair for an inground pool, but extras like heating and landscaping add up. 🏁 Final Thoughts This pool made our backyard way more fun. It’s perfect for summer days, parties, or just chilling. Totally worth it.
Excellent work and experience from start to finish! I am extremely satisfied with the work Fountaine Pools did building our pool. From day one, they demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail that truly shines through in the final result. The process was transparent; they kept us informed at all times and met the agreed-upon deadlines. Furthermore, the team was very respectful and organized, and they left everything spotless upon completion. I highly recommend their services to anyone considering building a pool at home. You won't regret it!

Fontaine Pools of Palmetto Bay: license CPC1457327 held since 2006, 4.9 on Google from 27 reviews against a 4.52 state average.
Fontaine Pools works out of Palmetto Bay, on South West 174th Street in Miami-Dade County. Twenty years of continuous licensed trading is the longest record on this part of the list, and in a trade where companies appear and vanish on a three-year cycle it is the fact that matters most about them.
Seven service lines: new pool construction, renovation, repairs, weekly service, spas and hot tubs, water features and outdoor living — the full range rather than construction with a service department attached. The gallery is the thin part, with six photographs on the site. For a company two decades into the work that is an odd shortage rather than a warning sign, but it does mean there is little to judge the standard of finish by, so ask to see recent builds.
Palmetto Bay is the base and the licensed address is there, in southern Miami-Dade. They publish no pages for individual towns — nothing for Pinecrest, nothing for Cutler Bay — so their range is a question to ask rather than something the site states. South Miami-Dade is the reasonable assumption. One local number is published, and the office keeps weekday hours, 8am until 5pm, closed at weekends.
Twenty-seven people have reviewed them on Google and the average sits at 4.9, which is 0.38 above the 4.52 Florida average. Twenty-seven is a modest count for a company that has been licensed since 2006 — most of two decades of customers are not on that page — but it is enough to read, and what it says is consistent: seven reviewers name the crew's professionalism, three the communication and three the workmanship. Nothing negative recurred; no complaint theme was raised by even two separate customers. Their own site calls them number one, which is marketing rather than a standing anyone holds, and on this evidence they did not need it.

Yes. Florida certified pool contractor license CPC1457327 is on record in the company's name and shows current, held since October 2006 — twenty years. The license covers construction; insurance is separate and no public register shows it, so ask for a certificate before anyone digs.
Good, and consistent, on a smaller count than you might expect. They sit at 4.9 from 27 Google reviews, 0.38 above the 4.52 Florida average. Seven reviewers name the crew's professionalism, three the communication and three the workmanship, and no complaint theme reached even two separate customers. For a company licensed since 2006, 27 reviews means most of their history simply is not on that page — so ask for older references as well as recent ones.
The license has been on record since October 2006, which is twenty years and the longest run on this part of the list. In a trade with a lot of turnover that is worth real weight: it means they have worked through more than one downturn.
Not much of it. There are six photographs on the site, which is not enough to judge a builder by. Given how long they have been at it there will be far more to see than that, so ask to visit a finished pool or for a proper set of pictures before deciding.
