The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
We are absolutely thrilled with our new backyard, and we can’t recommend Craft Master Custom Pools enough. From the very beginning, the design process was seamless; they truly listened to our vision and used 3D renderings to help us maximize our space effectively. What really set them apart was their communication and professionalism. Building a pool is a major project, but the team kept us informed every step of the way. We always knew when crews would be arriving, and they were incredibly diligent about sticking to the timeline. The craftsmanship is where they really shine. The masonry, tile work, and final finishes are top-tier. Even the 'punch list' items at the end were handled with care and precision. If you’re looking for a pool builder that balances beautiful custom design with reliable project management, Craft Master Custom Pools is the way to go!
The original owner was a genuine person. They had great service and quality work. The current owners are not the same. My pool was built by Craft Masters last year and is still under warranty. We had a couple things that needed to be remedied (nothing major). When the new owners took over they did not honor the warranty and correct the issues. They barely returned my calls and when they did they said I had to speak with the old owner. Thr folks answering the phone were rude as well. My contract is with Craft Masters not the original owner. I would not recommend anyone to them. We had to take legal action.
We couldn't be happier with our new pool from Craft Master Custom Pools! From day one, the team guided us through every step of the process — from design and material selections to permitting and construction. As first-time pool owners, we had a lot of questions, and they were always patient, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure we got exactly what we envisioned. The finished pool is absolutely stunning and has already become the centerpiece of our backyard. If you're looking for a team that truly cares about the experience and not just the end result, Craft Master Custom Pools is the way to go. We're proud new pool owners thanks to them!
Got my pool done less than one year ago and my pavers are sinking. I called over 10 times the new owners but they completely ignored our issues. Why are you going to buy a company w previous clients if you can’t solve a small problem? What kind of customer service are you offering? The excuses were many, starting w the fact that they didn’t have workers because of immigration (all documented in texts) all the way to it’s not our problem anymore. I’m sure the previous owner would’ve taken care of the issue. I now have to pay a third party and my pool is brand new. But what really got me furious were the lies saying they would get back to me and never did! Stay away from this company!
This was our first pool built by Jim and his team, and we couldn’t be happier! From start to finish, the entire process took just three months and everything was completed right on time with no hiccups at all. Jim was there every step of the way, making sure everything went smoothly and exactly as promised. The whole crew was outstanding—from the gunite team to the tile and paver installers, the Florida Gem crew, and the maintenance team. Everyone was professional, punctual, and so easy to work with. A special thank you to Jim & Maureen, along with Dot—your attention to detail and communication made the process stress-free. We absolutely love our pool—it turned out even better than we imagined. If we ever build again, we would not hesitate for a second to work with this company. Highly recommended! 💙💦
Terrible. My parents just finished their new pool in February of this year. A few months later their travertine decking starting sinking and buckling. It looks bad and is a tripping hazard. They called and were told they’d have to be put on a list to have it fixed and that they had a lot of these complaints. Now they called to get an update on the timeframe and were told the company sold and the new owners will not fix it. This is not ok. We can resolve this or we will get a lawyer.

Craftmaster Custom Pools of Cooper City: license CPC056766 held since 1994, 4.0 on Google from 70 reviews against a 4.52 average.
Craftmaster Custom Pools works out of Cooper City, in Broward County. Their Florida certified pool contractor license, CPC056766, has been on record since December 1994 and shows current — thirty-two years, one of the longest runs on this list. The current website dates from March 2013, so the company is considerably older than its web presence. Three decades of licensed building in Broward is the fact to weigh first.
Six service lines: new pool construction, renovation, weekly service, spas and hot tubs, screen enclosures and outdoor living. The gallery is thin at six photographs, which for thirty-two years of building is an odd shortage rather than a warning — but it does mean there is very little to judge the finish by, and ten of their reviewers single out the crew and seven the workmanship, so there should be plenty to show. Ask to see completed pools.
Cooper City is the base and the licensed address is there, in central Broward County. They publish no pages for individual towns, so their range is a question to ask rather than something the site answers — Cooper City, Davie, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood and Broward generally are the reasonable assumption. One number and one email address are published, and the office keeps weekday hours, 8am until 4pm, closed at weekends.
Seventy people have reviewed them on Google and the average sits at 4.0 — 0.52 below the 4.52 Florida average, and on seventy reviews that is a pattern rather than luck. It is also the more interesting half of a split. The praise on this profile is strong and broad: ten reviewers name the crew's professionalism, seven the workmanship and four the communication, which is three separate themes clearing the floor and more than most companies here manage. Meanwhile nothing negative recurred at all — no complaint theme was raised by even two separate customers. A below-average score with strong, consistent praise and no shared complaint is the signature of a company whose results vary by job rather than one with a particular fault. Read the one and two-star reviews: with seventy of them the unhappy accounts are easy to find, and on this profile they are the most useful thing on the page.

Yes, and for a long time. Florida certified pool contractor license CPC056766 is on record in the company's name and shows current, held since December 1994 — thirty-two years. The license covers construction; insurance is separate and no public register shows it, so ask for a certificate.
Split, and worth reading properly. They sit at 4.0 from 70 Google reviews — 0.52 under the 4.52 Florida average, which on seventy reviews is a real pattern. But the praise is strong: ten reviewers name the crew's professionalism, seven the workmanship and four the communication, and no complaint theme was raised by even two separate customers. That combination usually means results vary by job rather than a specific recurring fault. Read the low-star reviews.
The license dates from December 1994, so thirty-two years in Broward, on a website from 2013. That is a long run in a trade with heavy turnover. Ask to see a pool they built fifteen or twenty years ago — how a finish holds up is the thing no new company can show you.
Only six photographs, which is thin for three decades of building. Given how many customers praise the workmanship, ask to visit a finished pool or for a proper set of pictures.
New pool construction, renovation, weekly service, spas and hot tubs, screen enclosures and outdoor living. Monday to Friday, 8am until 4pm, on one published number and one email address.
