My wife and I are not sure where to begin. Trying to find the words to describe Chris and Nikki isn't an easy task and I'm sure we will not do them justice. They are 2 kind, caring and all around great human beings. Their knowledge and passion for what they due is reflected (no pun intended) in their work! Our pool was in great need of help and Crystal Clear Pools came to the rescue. Many years ago after a not so pleasant pool reconstruction we contacted Crystal Clear Pools. They immediately took control and not only brought the life back into the pool but in us as well. As cliche as it may sound the best things that came out of that horrible experience is Chris and Nikki who we consider part of our family. If you are in need of high quality, dependability and most of all trustworthiness you can not go wrong by choosing Crystal Clear Pools!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Nikki and Chris from Crystal Clear Pools for the past two years, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with their service. They are consistently punctual, detail-oriented, and highly professional, ensuring my pool is always in pristine condition. they are always available to answer any questions and provide expert advice. Whether it’s routine maintenance or troubleshooting an issue, they handle everything with efficiency and care. If you’re looking for a reliable and knowledgeable team to maintain your pool in Alachua County, I highly recommend Nikki and Chris. Their dedication and expertise make all the difference!

I converted our pool to salt when we had it refinished years back and decided we needed a service to keep it looking good. Chris was knowledgeable and friendly and very helpful so we got him to check it with a weekly service. Just a few years later, the salt water converter went out and I was looking at a big bill to replace it. Chris said don't worry, and he got me a new one with a warranty credit I never knew about, saving me over $700! Then the pool developed stains and it was Chris and Nikki to the rescue again! They worked to get it looking new again while we took a vacation! Just recently, my pump went out. I took it to a pool store where they tried to fix it but couldn't free the rusted bolts holding it together. I called Chris in a panic. Chris put my troubles on his schedule and within a day or so he had it back up and running. I know everything has gone up, and cutting out a monthly charge is tempting, but having a pool requires vigilance. Letting it go can cost thousands to recover that like new sparkle. What I've found out is having him and Nikki available as a professional to handle whatever comes up is not only a big relief, it's a money saver as well. What I've realized is having them and their know-how on your side is a really valuable thing when the unexpected happens!

About Crystal Clear Pools, LLC

Crystal Clear Pools of High Springs: licensed since 2017, a clean 5.0 on Google from 16 reviews, and one of few builders covering north-central Florida.

Who they are

Crystal Clear Pools works from NW 237th Terrace in High Springs, Alachua County, north-west of Gainesville. Their Florida contractor license, CPC1458954, was issued in January 2017 and is current — nine years of unbroken certification. They describe themselves as number one, which is not a position anyone holds on the record, and as licensed and insured: the license is real, insurance is not verifiable by anyone outside the company, so ask for the certificate. They publish no email address and no opening hours, and two phone numbers in different area codes — one 352 for the Gainesville area and one 863 down in Polk. This is a small operation reached by phone.

What they build

New pool construction, renovation and resurfacing, repairs, ongoing pool service, spas and hot tubs. Five lines covering the whole life of a pool, and the service line is not decoration — the most detailed review on record is from a customer who had their pool refinished and converted to salt, then took out a service contract to keep it that way, and rates both. That combination is genuinely useful: the same firm that builds or refinishes a pool being the one that maintains it afterwards is rarer than it sounds, and it is the thing most of the unhappy reviews elsewhere on this list are about. They publish fourteen project photographs.

Where they work

High Springs and Alachua County, with a second number reaching into Polk County — so the working area is wider than one town, though we cannot tell you how much wider from the record. They publish no separate pages for individual towns, so there is no documented service area — High Springs, Alachua, Gainesville, Newberry and the surrounding county is the sensible reading, and anything further worth confirming by phone. They are one of very few builders on this list covering north-central Florida at all, which if you are near Gainesville narrows the choice considerably. They updated their contact page in the spring.

What the record shows

A clean 5.0 on Google from 16 reviews, close to half a point above the 4.52 Florida average, with no rating below top marks and nothing negative on record at all. Sixteen reviews is a small sample, so this is a good sign rather than a settled record — one theme clears our reporting floor, with three customers naming their professionalism, and we are not going to dress sixteen reviews up as more than they are. What the individual accounts do show is the range: a salt conversion and refinishing followed by an ongoing service contract, and a couple who describe struggling to find words adequate to the two people who run the company. Small-firm reviews often read like that, and it usually means the same people turned up each time. There is no complaint theme to report and no negative review of any kind. The honest cautions are about size and about what is not published: nine years is a decent record but sixteen reviews cannot show you how they handle a job that goes wrong, no warranty terms are published, and there is no email address or opening hours to work from. Phone them, ask for the warranty in writing, and ask for two references from jobs the size of yours — and if you are anywhere near Gainesville, they are one of very few builders here worth that call.

Questions homeowners ask

Answered from this record — not by the business.

What do the reviews actually say?

A clean 5.0 from 16 reviews, close to half a point above the 4.52 Florida average, with nothing negative on record. Three customers name their professionalism, the one theme clearing our reporting floor. Sixteen reviews is a small sample, so treat it as a good sign rather than a settled record.

Do they maintain pools as well as build them?

Yes, and it is worth having. The most detailed review on record is from a customer who had their pool refinished and converted to salt and then took out a service contract with them, rating both. Having the firm that built or refinished your pool also maintain it is rarer than it sounds.

Which areas do they cover?

High Springs and Alachua County, with a second published number in the 863 area reaching into Polk, so the range is wider than one town — we cannot say how much wider from the record. High Springs, Alachua, Gainesville and Newberry is the sensible reading. They are one of very few builders on this list covering north-central Florida at all.

Do they offer a warranty?

They publish nothing about one, so there is nothing for us to check — ask for the terms in writing before you sign. They also claim to be insured, which nobody outside the company can verify, so ask for the certificate.

How do I get hold of them?

By phone — they publish no email address and no opening hours. Two numbers are listed, one in the 352 area for Gainesville and one in the 863 area for Polk County. Ask for two references from jobs the size of yours while you have them on the line.
