Corey with J&C Fiberglass Pools is my pool savior. I had my fiberglass pool put in by another contractor, who vanished before finishing the job. After waiting 3 years to find someone who would take on my project and get it completed, I came across J&C Fiberglass Pools online and Corey immediately sent someone out to look at my project. After listening to my story and seeing what needed to be completed to close out the project with the City of Tampa, Corey was so kind to take the risk and help me out. Throughout the entire process the communication and professionalism that Corey showed was a breath of fresh air, especially since Florida is known as a haven for shady pool contractors. If you are looking to install a pool, the quality of fiberglass pools that J&C sells and the skills of their workers is second to none. If you ever wanted a guarantee in life, hiring Corey with J&C Fiberglass Pools to install your new pool is the only way to go. I will forever be indebted to Corey for what he did for me.

Called last week. Left a message with the lady that answered the phone. She said they would call me that day yet it’s a week later and still, no call back. Also messaged them on Facebook….no response! Oh well, I tried! I guess I’ll call another Pool company. That’s very bad customer service.

Experience with J & C Fiberglass Pools Post 1 I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service I received from the salesman Rich Lowman at J & C Fiberglass Pools. Rich was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time to understand my specific needs and preferences and offered valuable insights throughout the entire process. Rich laid out the exact layout of the pool, options, and procedures with installation of the pool. Within one day I had the drawings for the pool and actual pricing which none of the other pool six companies couldn’t provide in a timely manner. Rich was always patient, professional, and responsive to my questions. Richard’s expertise and friendly demeanor made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. Post 2 After the contract was signed J & C Fiberglass Pools sent me the Drawings and Engineering information that would be sent to Hillsborough County Permitting to sign off on. All this was done thru DocuSign which made the process a breeze. Within a few weeks the permit was approved and Cory, the owner of J & C Fiberglass Pools called to put our installation on the schedule. I was thoroughly impressed with the service provided by Cory, the owner of J & C Fiberglass Pools. Cory was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. Cory took the time to personally visit our property and assess our backyard's unique features, including the sloping terrain. He offered valuable suggestions on the best placement for our new pool, considering factors like sun exposure and drainage. Cory made a second visit with the excavation provided additional insights and guidance, equipment ensuring that we were making the right decisions for our pool installation. The delivery and initial dig, testing for ground water went smoothly. Cory’s expertise and personalized attention are truly exceptional. I will continue to update this review as the installation progresses. I recently had the opportunity to work with J & C Fiberglass Pools for the installation of a new fiberglass pool in my backyard, and I am extremely pleased with the results. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and conducted with a high level of professionalism. The team at J & C Fiberglass Pools demonstrated exceptional expertise and meticulous attention to detail. They took the time to understand my specific needs and preferences, providing valuable insights and recommendations throughout the project. The installation was completed efficiently and with great care, ensuring that every aspect of the pool met high standards. The installation crew were extremely diligent and competent, working tirelessly to ensure precision and quality. Their dedication and teamwork were evident in every step, making the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. The quality of the fiberglass pool itself is outstanding. The smooth gel coating requires minimal maintenance, making it an excellent investment for us. Additionally, the variety of shapes and sizes available allowed me to choose a design that perfectly complements my backyard. Overall, I highly recommend J & C Fiberglass Pools to anyone considering a new pool installation. Their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable. Thank you, J & C Fiberglass Pools, for transforming my backyard into a beautiful oasis!

About J&c Fiberglass Pools Inc

J&C Fiberglass Pools of Tampa: a fiberglass specialist rated 4.9 on Google from 55 reviews, with templated location pages that overstate their reach.

Who they are

J&C Fiberglass Pools works out of West Busch Boulevard in Tampa, Hillsborough County. Their Florida contractor license, CPC1460418, was issued in October 2023 and is current; the domain has been registered since 2021. The name tells you the thing that actually distinguishes them, and it is worth more than most of what builders put on their websites: they build fiberglass pools. Almost no builder on this list states how they build at all, so a company that puts its construction method in its own name is being unusually specific about what you are buying. Fiberglass is a different proposition from concrete — faster to install, a fixed range of shapes — and if that is what you want, this is a firm organised around it.

What they build

Fiberglass pool installation first, alongside renovation of existing pools, repairs, ongoing service, spas and hot tubs, water features and outdoor living work. None of the seven has a page of its own. Two of their claims rest on their own word rather than the record: being the best or most trusted builder is not a position anyone can hold on the record, and a lifetime warranty is only ever worth what the written document says — ask for it and read the exclusions, because on a fiberglass shell the warranty is a significant part of what you are paying for. They keep Saturday hours as well as weekdays, which makes arranging a site visit easier than with most builders here.

Where they work

Tampa is where they are, and here we have to be blunt about their own website. They publish pages for Clearwater Beach, Crystal Beach, Orlando, Fort Myers, Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach, Pompano Beach, Gulf Breeze and Key West — and those pages are near-copies of one another rather than pages written about each place. Gulf Breeze is by Pensacola, Key West is at the end of the Keys, and Pompano Beach is on the other coast; that is not a service area, it is a template. So we are not going to report it as reach. Treat Tampa Bay as what is documented and ask them directly how far they actually travel — for a fiberglass shell, which arrives on a lorry, the honest answer may genuinely be a long way, but their website is not evidence of it.

What the record shows

Google has them at 4.9 from 55 reviews, comfortably above the 4.52 Florida average for the builders we hold. Fifty-five reviews is a solid body of feedback and a 4.9 across it is a strong result — high enough that near-perfect scores are the norm rather than the exception among their customers. Four separate customers name their professionalism, the one theme that clears our floor. The most telling review is not about a new pool at all: a customer whose fiberglass pool had been abandoned unfinished by a different contractor describes them coming in and putting it right. Rescue work is a good sign, because it means being willing to take on a job where the mistakes are someone else's and the customer is already unhappy. No complaint theme reaches our floor of two customers raising the same thing. One individual account is worth knowing: a caller left a message and a Facebook enquiry and got no reply for a week. That is one person, not a pattern, but it is the ordinary risk with a firm that keeps a strong site presence and a small office — if you do not hear back, phone rather than message. The fair summary: a genuinely strong rating, a real specialism, and a location page list that oversells their reach.

Questions homeowners ask

Answered from this record — not by the business.

What do the reviews actually say?

Google has them at 4.9 from 55 reviews, well above the 4.52 Florida average — a strong result on a solid sample. Four customers name their professionalism. The most useful account is from a customer whose fiberglass pool was abandoned unfinished by another contractor and who says J&C put it right. One person reports leaving a message and a Facebook enquiry and hearing nothing for a week.

Do they really cover Key West and Gulf Breeze?

Their website has pages for both, but those pages are near-copies of each other rather than anything written about those places, and Gulf Breeze is near Pensacola while Key West is at the end of the Keys. Treat the list as a template, not a service area. Tampa Bay is what is actually documented. Because a fiberglass shell is delivered rather than built in place, they may genuinely travel — but ask them, do not infer it from the website.

What is different about a fiberglass pool?

The shell is manufactured and delivered rather than formed on site, so installation is usually quicker and the shape comes from a fixed range rather than being drawn from scratch. Very few builders on this list say how they build at all, so a firm naming its method is being unusually clear about what you are buying. If you want a bespoke shape, ask whether that is possible before going further.

Is the lifetime warranty real?

It is their claim and no public record can confirm it. On a fiberglass pool the warranty matters more than usual, because the shell is a manufactured product — so ask for the written document, read the exclusions, and check whether it covers the shell, the installation, or both, and whether it transfers if you sell the house.

When can I reach them?

They keep weekday hours and, unusually for this list, Saturday hours too, which makes arranging a site visit around a working week easier. Given the one report of an unanswered message, phoning is more reliable than messaging.
