We will be so excited to see our finished pool that Scott designed for us! Scott worked closely with us and listened to our ideas and concerns to come up with a beautiful design that makes the most of our water views. He was easy to work with, responded quickly to our questions and has many years of knowledge and experience that he brings to the table. Our new home is under construction so the pool is still underway, but we look forward to the end result and feel certain we will be spending many happy hours enjoying our custom pool by Plan It Pools!
Avoid PlanIt Pools at all costs. My 5-year-old pool is already falling apart—tiles are coming off and part of the finish is delaminating. When I reached out for help the owner refused to honor any responsibility, stating the business is closed. Save yourself the headache and the money; find a reputable builder who actually stands by their product." Anyone would like to contact me I’ll be happy to share the many emails. I got from Scott refusing to take responsibility for the despicable job and the lack of follow up on his pools. I have another friend that’s dealing with the exact same issues that lives three blocks away and is seeking advice from an attorney. HIS CONTRACTS FORCE YOU TO A POOL MEDIATION. YOU WILL HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO RECOURSE.!!
We LOVE, love, love our pool! Scott is light years’ different than what our friends and family have experienced. This is our 3rd pool remodel with Scott. (Different houses). He is meticulous, super attentive to detail and a true craftsman and artist. This was a huge project with the new travertine tile surround, mosaic glass detail, pool resurface, and Pentair water bowls with awesome lights— the project came out better than we could have EVER anticipated. We have enjoyed it very much- wish I could post more pics here! Highly recommend if you can book him for your pool remodel or brand new pool. He is Brevard’s best by far!
Several pools in the area having leaks and concrete problems!!! Beware!!
I hired Scott to build my dream pool on the ocean. Not an easy thing to achieve. He made it easy going though state and local permitting, design and engineering. All I had to do was show him what I wanted to have built. he is chill and a pleasure to deal with plus my pool build came in at a lower price than quoted. Hard to find an honest contractor anymore, but he is fantastic. I highly recommend him and his company. Thanks Scott
Had to spend an additional $7,000 due to grading and elevation mistakes. The pool was constructed well.

Plan-It Pools works from Landings Road in Melbourne Beach, Brevard County, on Florida pool contractor license CPC1457161 — current since January 2006. The domain dates from 2007. They build new pools, renovate, service, and fit spas, water features and outdoor living, and they lean on design: their pages carry conceptual designs, plan views and a virtual-tour offer alongside finished work. They describe themselves as award-winning, premier, top rated and number one. None of those is published anywhere that could confirm it, so read them as the company's own description.
Google has them at 4.8 from 55 reviews, against a Florida average of 4.52 across the 346 builders on this directory — close to three tenths above the middle, on a sample that carries weight. Eight reviewers name the quality of the build, three their professionalism, and one describes a third remodel with the same firm at a different house, which is the kind of repeat custom that is hard to fake.
Two reviews cut the other way, and they matter more than their number suggests because both describe the same thing and both describe it late. One customer says a five-year-old pool is coming apart — tiles lifting, the finish delaminating — and that the owner refused to help when asked. The other says several pools in the area have developed leaks and concrete problems. Two separate customers on the same subject clears the bar for a pattern, and the subject is the one that matters most: how the pool holds up after the warranty conversation has moved on.
That tension is the honest summary. The recent record is strongly positive about the pool you get. The complaints are about the pool you still have five years later, and a review average cannot see that far.
They publish separate pages for Cocoa Beach, Indialantic, Melbourne, Melbourne Beach, Satellite Beach and Vero Beach, and those pages are written for their places rather than one template with the town swapped — which is rarer on this list than it should be. The license sits in Melbourne Beach. Their gallery mixes their own project photographs with stock library images and design renders, so judge the work from the ones that are plainly theirs.
Get the structural warranty in writing: what it covers, for how many years, what voids it, and who honours it. The two complaints on record are both about failures appearing years later, and that is exactly what a written warranty is for. Ask for the names of customers whose pools they built five or more years ago, and call them rather than reading more reviews. Ask what the remedy process is if a surface or tile fails inside the warranty period, and get the answer on paper. The license is real and checkable above; ask separately for the insurance certificate.

Answered from this record — not by the business.
Yes. Florida pool contractor license CPC1457161 has been current since January 2006. They also describe themselves as award-winning and top rated; nothing published would confirm either, so treat those as their own wording. Ask for the insurance certificate separately.
4.8 from 55 Google reviews, against a Florida average of 4.52 across the 346 builders on this directory — roughly three tenths above the middle on a meaningful sample.
Two customers, both about durability rather than service. One describes a five-year-old pool with tiles lifting and the finish delaminating, and says the owner declined to help. The other reports several pools in the area developing leaks and concrete problems. Two separate customers on the same subject is a pattern, and it is the subject a review average is least able to capture.
For the structural warranty in writing — cover, duration, exclusions and who honours it — and for contact details of customers whose pools they built five or more years ago. Those two things speak to the only complaint on their record.
Cocoa Beach, Indialantic, Melbourne, Melbourne Beach, Satellite Beach and Vero Beach. Unusually for this list, each of those pages is written for its own place rather than copied from a template.
