The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
Update! They just finished the 4th pool for a member of my family and as always its a beautiful addition to the home. They continue to exceed our expectations as they bring our backyard dreams to life!!! What a wonderful addition to any home!!! For us it was and is a great memory maker! I’d say that the hardest part of getting a pool is waiting for it to be finished. In the case of Best Pools they made that journey easier with great communication and spot on task achievements. I think anyone who is looking for a pool contractor should give Best Pools serious consideration as their pool contractor. Best Pools also suggested some features that we didn’t think of which further made our pool a even more beautiful addition to our home. Great experience all around!
I would have given a negative if I could have. Sadly, I used and trusted this company and throughout the process they disappointed at every turn. I would call the office with my concerns and as friendly as they were basically they just dismissed everyone of them. I asked to pay for extra returns for a bigger pump and a bigger filter and all of those were ignored. Now I have the pool and I have to replace the pump because it's not big enough, the returns are not sufficient to circulate the water properly and my filter is too small because I have a sand beach next to my pool and it gets transient sand. I had a chunk of the matsite come out on day two and they've never fixed it properly, only with horrible patches. The Marsite finish did not come out the way it was supposed to in numerous areas, they tried to grind it and left snail trails throgh out my pool. The owner was dismissive arrogant and deceitful in our conversations. Never once did he offer a solution only lies and excuses i've been extremely patient throughout the process and was hoping for a better resolve because we all make mistakes but it's how to recover that makes the difference and they just choose not to recover. Sadly I could not in good conscience recommend this company to anybody.
I know from experience that having a pool in your backyard can be a family treasure and bring an enormous amount of valuable family time and memories. I called Best Pools and they made it happen!!!! The journey to an incredible backyard was enjoyable. Though like most Americans I wanted it the day I signed the contract Best Pools walked us through each stage with professionalism and kindness to make the journey so much easier.
DO NOT USE THIS POOL COMPANY. MY WHOLE PROJECT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE. We were made many promises that were not followed through on. We were told the project would take a few months but it's been 6 and we aren't done. They told us that they would take care of everything (every question I asked during design was "no problem, we'll take care of that") and a number of times over the last 6 months I had to find my own contractor for parts of the project, which just added more cost to an already expensive project. Once they had our money they couldn't have cared less - no effort at all to make anything right. Any time I call them with concerns they treat me like I'm an idiot for asking or being upset. Rob, in particular, is very dismissive and condescending.
I've built 3 pools with 3 different companies. 2 in Brevard co. I wish I had found Best Pools first. They were responsive to my questions and concerns. Rob was wayyy more than a salesman. Great designer, plumber, chemist and he was with me the whole way. I can only imagine they have a lot of pools in progress at any time, yet the ladies in the office always remembered me like we were old buddies. Let's face it, pool const is a messy business and it always takes longer than you would like. Kinda like waiting for Christmas. These guys know what they're doing and it looks awesome when they're done. Thanks Best Pools.
Awful customer service! We have everything planned with the bank and already contacted a septic tank company that will be relocating our septic to the front of the house therefore freeing up the back yard to be able to utilize the whole yard for our new pool..When I spoke to the receptionist and explained this to her she proceeded to say that "maybe" she will call us back "when we had it together in 30 days" .. are you serious? We have done all the leg work already from financial to having another company move the septic system to another location and she had the audacity to respond with that.. If that doesn't sound like having it "together" then I don't know what will.. if this is the kind of service that they provide in the preliminary process imagen the type of service that you will receive from them throughout the process.. This place sounds like a pool company that will cut corners and do an awful job.. I guess in away we dodged a bullet before they ruined the experience.. I'll make sure to go the extra mile to share my experience with others in the future and tell them to stay clear away from this pool company.. Sincerely, The Customer that had it together..

Best Pools of Brevard, Melbourne: licensed since 1988, and the one thing three customers raised that is worth asking about. FloridaPoolz.
Best Pools of Brevard works out of Melbourne on the space coast, holding Florida residential pool license RP0055730, current since February 1988 — thirty-eight unbroken years, among the longest records anywhere in this directory. Their domain has been registered since 1998 and their enquiry form was updated in August 2026, so the business is active. They describe themselves as award-winning and family-owned; neither is on any public record and no award is named.
New pool construction, repair and servicing, spas, water features and outdoor living work. Renovation of existing pools is not among what they publish, which is worth confirming if that is your job. The license class is residential, so ask directly before assuming they can take on anything commercial. No separate area pages are published, so Melbourne and the surrounding Brevard coast is the working assumption.
4.1 from 32 Google reviews and 3.5 from fifteen on Yelp, against a Florida pool builder average of 4.52. Below the field on both, on 47 reviews between them — enough to be a genuine pattern rather than noise. The positive accounts are consistent though: six customers praised professionalism independently, four the build quality and three the communication. Their own site calls them number one.
Three customers described how the company responded when they raised a problem, and that is the theme to take seriously — not because three out of 47 is a pattern in itself, but because how a builder behaves when something goes wrong is precisely what you cannot judge until it happens. Ask what their process is if you are unhappy mid-build, who has authority to resolve it, and get it in writing. Then ask which award they mean, since the site names none, and for two recent Brevard addresses you can look at.
