I’m extremely satisfied with the work they did on our pool. From day one, they showed professionalism, punctuality, and great attention to detail. We signed a contract with Pure Life Pools on October 10, 2025 for a fiberglass pool installation at our home in Sebastian, Florida. The contract was signed at our kitchen table during an in-home sales presentation. We paid a $13,000 deposit on October 16, 2025. Before we paid a single dollar their salesperson put this in writing: "Needless to say if the closing doesn't go as planned your deposit is completely refundable. You are at no risk." Our HOA requires written ARC approval before any exterior work can begin. Pure Life Pools was fully aware of this requirement and participated in submitting our ARC application. The ARC denied the application because our community only permits concrete pools — fiberglass pools are expressly prohibited. Pure Life Pools does not build concrete pools, making the project legally impossible to complete. We made multiple written requests for return of our deposit on December 1, 8, and 10, 2025. No refund was issued. A certified attorney demand letter was delivered. No response. Brevard County confirmed in writing that no permit was ever filed, no application submitted, and no construction activity occurred at our property. As of April 2026, Pure Life Pools continues to hold our $13,000 deposit. No work was performed. No permits were filed. The project cannot legally proceed. Their salesperson's written promise of a full refund has never been honored. We are sharing this experience so other homeowners in HOA communities ask the right questions before signing any contract or paying any deposit.
