The best and the worst from each platform. Both, always.
Sun Splash Pools has been wonderful for our family. Bill (the owner) originally installed my mother-in-law's pool and did a fantastic job, so when we purchased an older home that needed pool work, we knew exactly who to call. After hearing so many horror stories about pool companies, we needed someone we could trust for honest assessments and fair pricing — and that's exactly what we got. Our first project with Bill was replacing our pool system. We expected to need an entirely new pump, heater, and filter, but after inspection, Bill determined our existing pump was still in good shape. Rather than upsell us on something we didn't need, he followed the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy. Bill and Jason completed the installation quickly and professionally, ensuring everything worked properly with our new filter and heater — even while we were out of town. Next came the pool resurfacing. We started with a patch repair on the hot tub, which was done beautifully, but ultimately decided the whole pool needed to be redone given its age (roughly 15 years). The resurfacing was excellent, and they even maintained our pool for four weeks afterward to make sure everything was dialed in. Our plumbing is a bit unusual, so when pressure issues came up a couple of months later, Jason came back out, troubleshot the problem, figured out our quirky setup, and labeled everything so we'd know exactly how it all worked going forward. These guys are committed to quality work at a reasonable price, and they stand behind everything they do. Sun Splash Pools has absolutely earned our loyalty — they're our go-to for anything pool-related from here on out.
Sun splash pools has ruined our pool. They were called to replace our skimmer. The concrete poured looks awful and is a hazard to anyone walking by it. Pieces of concrete are sticking up everywhere, the concrete is not level or smoothed at all, and it is collecting water and leaking. We called Bill to inquire about a fix and he hung up on us in the middle of a sentence. I would choose an expert next time for your pool needs or you will end up paying more in repairs than the original job. Unprofessional in every way.
Bill and Jason did a great job replacing our pool liner. Took their time, did everything right and the result is fantastic. Recommend them to anyone looking for pool work.
Bill and Jason did a wonderful job in refinishing our pool! They took their time and paid attention to every small detail! We highly recommend Sun Splash Pools Inc., and would not hesitate to use them again! Thank you Bill and Jason and your crew! Terry and Frances Thorne 1490 Sykes Creek Drive, M.I., Fl.
Bill did a great job at a great price. We had the liner replaced on our in ground pool and the floor needed repaired. Bill explained how to properly maintain the chemical levels to get the most out of the liner. I highly recommend.
Bill is AMAZING! Knowledgeable, highly skilled and most importantly honest...we wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Learn everything about Sun Splash Pools of Rockledge — their reviews, license CPC1459233, and service area! FloridaPoolz.
Sun Splash Pools works out of Rockledge, Brevard County, on Florida pool contractor license CPC1459233 — current since February 2019. Their domain has been registered since 2008, so the name predates the current license by a decade. Their licensed address is a PO box rather than a street, so ask where the yard is if you want to visit. They build new pools and handle renovation, repair, servicing, screen enclosures, spas, water features and outdoor living.
Google has them at 4.5 from 8 reviews — within two hundredths of the Florida average of 4.52 across the 346 builders on this directory, but on a record of eight, which is too small to compare with a 346-builder average at all. Read the eight accounts instead.
The warmest describes a long family relationship: the owner having originally installed the reviewer's mother-in-law's pool, and the business being good to them since.
One review is a specific complaint about specific work. A customer says Sun Splash were called to replace a skimmer, and that the concrete poured looks bad and is a hazard. Concrete work around a skimmer is small, visible and hard to argue about once set — it either looks right or it does not.
They publish written pages for Melbourne, Palm Bay, Indialantic and Titusville — the Brevard coast — and those pages are written for their places rather than one template with the town swapped. Only 5 photographs are published, which is thin. Ask to see more.
For repair work, agree what the finished surface should look like before anyone pours — a photograph of a comparable job is the simplest way — and agree what happens if it does not match. The one complaint on record is precisely that, and concrete is unforgiving once it sets. Ask where the yard is, given the PO box address. On eight reviews, call two references. The license is real and dates from 2019; ask for the insurance certificate separately.

Little on its own. 4.5 from 8 reviews sits within two hundredths of the 4.52 Florida average, but eight reviews is too small a sample for that comparison to mean anything. Read the individual accounts.
A customer called them to replace a skimmer and says the concrete poured around it looks bad and is a hazard. Small, visible work that is hard to dispute once it has set.
Agree what the finished surface should look like before anyone pours — a photograph of a comparable job is enough — and agree in writing what happens if it does not match.
