We have done two pools now with Water Design Pools. Kevin Brown was terrific to work with on both projects. The first was a new build in Bird Key. We demolished the old pool and had a new modern one put in. Fantastic! The second project was in Longboat Key. That project was a redo/update. Completely changed the look and functionality of the pool and backyard. Both projects were done on schedule and at the agreed upon price...no surprises! Anytime I have had questions or can’t figure something out, Kevin has responded promptly and professionally. Would use again!
We had a beautiful pool and spa built by water designs. We met with Joe, who helped us to design and explain the best design, features and equipment that would work for our size pool. He was thorough, followed through on things when stated. When we had a hiccup by hitting part of our drain field, he was helpful in who to call in order to get it squared away, working with us to reschedule after we had the proper people come out for the plumbing issues. This company was top notch and I highly recommend them for any pool project.
Water Designs just completed our pool project and we could not be happier!! The project was completed on time and budget and the worksite was always presentable. The crew were polite and always on time. Whenever we had a question Joe or Kevin would call back promptly. Kevin recently came by on a Saturday (his day off) to help me with a heater setting. This company goes above and beyond to satisfy it's customers and I'd recommend Water Designs to anyone considering building a pool. Well Done!
So, it has been over six months now that our pool was completed and my wife and I absolutely LOVE it, I can not say enough good about Water Designs. Most of our contact was with Kevin and he was very responsive, would get back to us quickly with any questions we had. He has the patience of a saint and will keep explaining things until you understand them. We were first time pool owners and are so glad we picked them.
We ordered a swimming pool and separate koi pond from this company in 2015. Since then the koi pond has been leaking and they cannot seem to figure out a way to stop the leak. Additionally a light bulb burned out and it has taken them months to replace it (still have not). As for the pool, the main problem is the water line tile has been dropping off. They informed us they would charge us nearly $9,000 for them to come in and replace it. The tile started to fall off in less than one year. Also, it took them months to get the wireless controls to work. Today was the last straw when I found muriatic acid leaking out of one of the lines they put in. I would NEVER recommend this company.
Consider alternatives before choosing Water Designs of Sarasota! The owner comes across as a good guy however, the product he delivered to me was so substandard that I have had to spent considerable sums fixing issues such as: foundation sinking, tile separation, replacing improperly sized filtration system, replacing hot tub pump and fixing fire bowl that was hooked up backwards.
