As the onsite for Touchstone CDD, I can confidently say that Cooper Pools has earned a 5-star rating from us. Their technicians have been nothing but excellent, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely responsive. Any time we’ve needed repairs, they’ve handled them quickly and efficiently. Most importantly, they were able to identify and resolve a leak that had taken us nearly two months to figure out. Special shout out to Andrew.

We noticed our pool level dropping quickly and suspected a leak. West Shore Pools found the issue in the plumbing line at the pool filter and repaired it efficiently. They kept us updated the entire time and left everything clean when they were done. Very professional and trustworthy company. We highly recommend!

West Shore Pools was amazing to work with, and I highly recommend contacting them for any of your pool or spa needs. We had an issue right before the Christmas holiday and the service department was able to get us a technician to come out as soon as he finished another job. He explained exactly what the problem was, offered advice on long-term solutions and got us up and running so that the pool was working for our holiday visitors. Great all around!

About West Shore Pools & Outdoor Living, LLC

West Shore Pools & Outdoor Living, LLC is a licensed Florida pool builder based in Tampa (Hillsborough County). Its work is tracked against public permit and licensing records. Its Florida contractor license (CPC1461075) is active and verified against FL DBPR.

Who they are

West Shore Pools and Outdoor Living works out of Tampa, from South Westshore Boulevard in Hillsborough County. This is a new company. The domain was registered that March. So there is at the very least about a year of licensed work here, and 24 reviews already, which is a fast start.

What they build

Nine service lines including commercial pools, which is a wide range for a first-year company: new pool construction, renovation, repairs, weekly service, spas and hot tubs, screen enclosures, water features, outdoor living and commercial pools. Worth asking how much of that is handled in-house rather than subcontracted. Finished projects are on show, which for a year of trading is a strong showing and — with no track record to point at — the most useful thing they have published.

Where they work

Tampa is the base and the licensed address is on South Westshore Boulevard there. They publish pages for Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg, and those pages are genuinely written for their own areas rather than being one template with the town name changed — which for a company this young suggests someone taking the work seriously rather than buying a template. Hillsborough and Pinellas are a well-supported range. One local number is published along with several email addresses.

What the record shows

Twenty-four people have reviewed them on Google and their rating sits at 4.8 — about 0.28 above the 4.52 Florida average. Twenty-four reviews inside a year of licensed activity is a lot of completed work for the time, and holding 4.8 across them is the useful part rather than the number itself. Three themes clear the reporting floor, which is unusual at this volume: eight reviewers name the crew's professionalism, three the communication and three more — their timekeeping. Nothing negative recurred in their reviews.

Questions homeowners ask

Answered from this record — not by the business.

Is West Shore Pools licensed?

Yes. Florida certified pool contractor license CPC1461075 is on record and shows current. It was issued in June 2025, so the license is real but young. Insurance is separate and no register shows it, so ask for a certificate.

How good are their reviews, really?

Good, and a lot for the time. They sit at 4.8 from 24 Google reviews, 0.28 above the 4.52 Florida average, inside a year of licensed trading. Eight reviewers name the crew's professionalism, three the communication and three the timekeeping — three themes clearing the floor at this volume is unusual — and no complaint theme was raised by even two separate customers.

How long have they been trading?

About a year: the license was issued in June 2025 and the domain registered that March. The people running it may have considerably more experience than the company does, which is the thing to ask about — who the crew are, and what they built before this.

Which areas do they cover?

Hillsborough and Pinellas. They publish pages for Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg, and those pages are genuinely written about those places rather than being a template with the name swapped — a reasonable sign they work in all three.

What do they build, and can I see examples?

New pool construction, renovation, repairs, weekly service, spas and hot tubs, screen enclosures, water features, outdoor living and commercial pools — a wide range for a young company, so ask how much is in-house. Twenty finished projects are on the site, which is a strong set for a year of trading.
