ONLY place you should go for anything pool related. They also have an aging gentleman who does weekly pool maintenance at a very reasonable price, and he's the best. The staff at the store is AMAZING

Very nice people working there. Poor finishing touches. We chose Signature even though they weren't the cheapest, they claimed to provide the best customer service. As seen in this picture(3 of them in the same condition), my nine year old can do a better job than this. I complained about it , they were nice enough to look at it but did advised me to fill up with sand. We saved enough money to pay cash for the pool and in return, we got ugly finishes.

So we thought our In ground pool was compromised and found out it was put in by Signature pools 7 years ago. I called explained brown stains and to please call. The very next day I received a call they were eager to help and find out what this could be. Well it had nothing to do with their installation but was fault of pool maintenance contractor. We love our pool it looks like it was installed yesterday. To see even 7 years later how professional and how much time they gave me is impressive and how concerned they were. If you need a pool installed I suggest you call Signature Pools! Customer service like this is so rarely seen.

Signature Pools, inc of Orlando, Fl treated our family extremely horrible! On 1-27-14, we called Signature Pools, inc and spoke with Zach. We emailed him our pool design ideas and he called back and stated he was too busy to work with us so he passed us on to John Salzer. We resent our designs to him. John called after reviewing them and we spoke regarding our design, budget, and how we were definitely open to any and all suggestions for a family pool to be within our cash budget. John proceeded to be extremely rude, disrespectful and degrading to us and claimed he would not be our pool builder and had not one ounce of willingness to build a $45,000-$50,000 pool for us. He stated that he can pick and choose who he wants to work with because he has a lot of years in the pool business and he doesn't need our money. We have never been so embarrassed humiliated by a company in our lives. Our only desired resolution is that we only want other customers to know that Signature Pools, inc of Orlando, Fl is a company that doesn't need your business and will ultimately treat you like it as well.

At first I thought this would be a good company because they replied to calls and emails in the first week - whereas most pool compnies never get back to you timely. After that, Maureen (in the accounting dept) was replying to my emails but NEVER answering my questions. I emailed numerous times and NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE. I had asked first for the pool techs name and number to give to our tenants - was told originally that Brad the tech would call me with it - well he never did - I was also calling to discuss several repairs we needed done immediately and also to confirm they sent a check to the tenants to pay them for the water bill for the pool water being left on for over 24 hours since the tenants were not home. When I did finally call and get Maureen on the phone to discuss the fact the the pool tech left the water on and flooded the yard and STILL needed answers on some pool repairs - she was rude and said I sent your email to ZACH the owners son. I informed her - he has not replied or called me and since I sent them to her my expectation would be for her to follow up with ZACH. She kept repeating I sent them to him and it's his responsibility to call me back. She was not going to follow up with him. She was like a robot kept repeating herself. She also said it was in appropriate for our tenant to call here and demand answers and money on the pool being left on by the tech. She also said they NEVER give out their techs number - so I can never talk to him directly - (hmm wonder why?) All I wanted was to get answers on what the repairs were going to cost and when they cold be done, how they were handling the flooding of our yard and the water bill for the tenant and get the phone number of the tech in case I had questions he could answer about our pool since we don't live at the house. It was beyond me why Maureen couldn't just follow up with Zach and get back to me. Also, if they wanted me to email Zach - then just give me his email address - it was like a big secret. Maureen was nasty on the phone and I kept telling her it was her responsibility as an employee of a company and receiving emails to at least reply with an answer of at least - "I forwarded your email on to Zach and he will follow up" - this way I could have called and asked for him and hoped for a reply. Zach calls the next day and leaves a message that their doing our pool was not going to work out and they will not be coming out any longer. I was fine with that since I was already looking for a new company - Maureen was just nasty. I did however ask Zach to finish out the month so I could get someone in thenext day or two. He did not care - his response was we are a family owned business and Maureen is upset. Well I can tell you I was upset after talking to her - Nasty and very, very, poor customer service from her and I would add Zach in that. When you have a family owned business of course family is always right and the customer is NOT! STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU ENJOY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

About Signature Pools, Inc.

Signature Pools of Orlando: a Florida license held since 1986, rated 3.4 on Google from 18 reviews — below average, on a sample too small to settle it.

Who they are

Signature Pools works out of Commodity Circle in Orlando, Orange County. Their Florida contractor license, CPC039932, was issued in December 1986 and is current — close to forty years of unbroken certification, and one of the oldest licenses on this list. Their domain has been registered since 1997 and the site was archived in 1998, so the web presence is nearly as old. They describe themselves as family owned, which is their own account and not something the public record settles. Longevity is the strongest verified fact about this company, and it is a real one: a license does not survive four decades by accident.

What they build

New pool construction, spas and hot tubs, water features and outdoor living work. None of the four has a page of its own, so the site groups rather than details them. They publish twenty-three project photographs, which is the most useful part of the site for judging finished work. Worth reading as a sign of when the copy was written rather than as a statement about the crews.

Where they work

Orlando and the surrounding Orange County area. They publish no pages for individual towns, so there is no documented service area to report — treat greater Orlando as the sensible assumption and confirm anything further by phone. They keep weekday hours and are closed at weekends. The most recent activity on the site shows late last year, so this is a trading business, though the website is not being actively worked on. A company this old is likely to be better represented by a phone call than by its web pages.

What the record shows

Google has them at 3.4 from 18 reviews, which is more than a point below the 4.52 Florida average for the builders we hold. The honest thing to say next is that eighteen reviews is not many. A low score on hundreds of reviews is a pattern; a low score on eighteen is a warning to look closer rather than a conclusion, because a handful of bad experiences moves a number that size a long way. Nothing in the review text reaches our reporting floor either: no praise theme and no complaint theme was raised by enough separate customers to state as a pattern, which is itself a consequence of the small sample. What is there is worth reading individually and in both directions. On the good side, a customer whose pool was built seven years earlier called them about staining and got help, and another rates their weekly maintenance service and its pricing — both are the kind of thing you only hear about a firm that answers the phone after the invoice is paid. On the bad side, one customer describes billing and accounts going unanswered after a responsive first week, and another describes being treated badly at the quoting stage — though that account dates from 2014 and a decade-old complaint says less about the company today. The fair summary: a long-established license and specific evidence of after-sales help, set against a below-average score on a sample too small to settle it. Ask for two recent references and for a named contact in accounts before you commit.

Questions homeowners ask

Answered from this record — not by the business.

What do the reviews actually say?

Google has them at 3.4 from 18 reviews, over a point below the 4.52 Florida average — but eighteen is a small sample, so read it as a reason to look closer rather than a settled verdict. No praise or complaint theme was raised by enough separate customers to report as a pattern. Individually, one customer got help with staining on a pool built seven years earlier, while another describes accounts going unanswered.

Is the low rating a fair reflection of them?

It is a fair reflection of eighteen customers, which is not many. At that volume two or three bad experiences move the score a long way, so the number is genuinely uncertain in a way a rating on several hundred reviews would not be. One of the harsher accounts also dates from 2014. Treat 3.4 as a prompt to ask for recent references, not as a conclusion.

How long have they been licensed?

Their license, CPC039932, was issued in December 1986 and is current — close to forty years, one of the oldest on this list.

Which areas do they cover?

They are based on Commodity Circle in Orlando and publish no pages for individual towns, so there is no documented service area. Greater Orlando and Orange County is the sensible assumption; anything beyond is worth a phone call.
