Looking for a pool company is a challenge with expensive costs and hopes they will finish in a timely manner and the most important element is trusting they will not take your money and leave you with an unfinished project for months on end or worse never complete the job. You will be in fantastic hands with Trendsetters! Very fair pricing when compared to others. There were never any large gaps in time when completing each phase they were very communicative and finished on time. We built in the summer I was worried our yard was going to be a swamp mess, it was not the crews always kept the site clean and organized. It was such a smooth process I highly highly recommend using them. David H was amazing and our contact and designer. The same day I called, I provided a picture of what we were looking at and he was able to pull up our yard survey online and give me a rough idea on cost all within hours of my first call. He really tends to his customers one on one and can really help you choose the right options for your budget and if you just want ideas. We were going to use the regular pool finish originally but while the permits were being approved my husband wanted to add more deck space and David H advised the deck size we will be happy with save the money or if you really want to upgrade something change the interior finish and man we couldn’t be happier I believe we went with tropical blue that was a great call from David H. There not pushy sales folks trying to sell you something, they really want to provide you with your dream oasis. If your looking for a pool builder of course interview several but make sure you call Trendsetters and ask for David H and I guarantee he and his company will earn your business! I can call David H now months after our pool was completed with any questions and if he doesn’t know he will find out. Outstanding company!

We recently completed our new pool build with Trendsetters. We began our initial discussions with Dave back in 2022, however we decided at the time we weren't ready to move forward. In June, 2023 we finally decided to pull the trigger, and miraculously, their prices hadn't changed from our previous quote. We knew several people who had worked with Trendsetters previously and were all very happy with their work, so going into the process of selecting a builder and comparing quotes, we were leaning towards Trendsetters regardless. After reviewing proposals from several other builders, Trendsetters came in significantly below what others were quoting. On a project like this, I don't always go with the 'cheapest' quote just to save money, but due to the feedback from our friends, we were not hesitant to move forward. We signed our contract the last week of June and were told 3 months to dig and then 3 months to swim, which would have put us swimming right around Christmas. They ended up starting 6 weeks ahead of schedule, and everything was done with a full pool by Halloween, a full two months ahead of what we were told initially! We are beyond thrilled with the final results, and the entire process went incredibly smooth. As with any major construction project, there were a few minor hiccups along the way, but nothing major. Their subcontractors were very friendly and respectful, and John the construction manager was very responsive and attentive to any questions we had. They were also very accommodating to building around the outdoor kitchen that we already had in place. I am also a very proud DIY guy, so I made plans to build the pergola myself, and they were very open to allowing me to set the posts before the decking was installed. Needless to say, I highly recommend this company!

It has been over a year since Trendsetters built our pool. Our pool was finished a couple of weeks before the hurricanes hit in the TB area last year in 2024. For the first 4-6 months, our pool had different issues (blower wouldn't work even after replacement and several fixes to the breaker, floodlights were missing after the pool enclosure, communication issues between the outdoor control panel and our router, etc.), but every time there was an issue (especially after heavy rain and/or winds)Trendsetters was very responsive and had someone come out and assess the situation. If they didn't have an answer or thought the manufacturer had to be involved, Trendsetters helped us as much as they could to get an answer. It seemed that we couldn't find what the issue was exactly, but after several replacements of parts or re-installing something, we think our pool finally works. It has been about 6-8 months where we haven't had an issue. This past summer was our first summer enjoying the pool and this is the second winter with the pool. During the first winter, our pool had problems, so we are testing the fixes and so far so good. The pool design was outstanding (Dave was our guy) and Bobbi was instrumental to help us coordinate all issues with the owner. I gave Trendsetters a 5 because even though we had issues, Trendsetters took ownership until the pool was running as expected. Thank you Trendsetters for being diligent and for standing by your work.

We were extremely happy with the Trendsetter team. We heard so many horror stories from friends about pool builders, we went into it expecting the worst and remained on edge the entire time, but were pleasantly surprised. The permitting process took longer than they quoted us, but not sure who was to blame for that (County/building department maybe). We waited a little over 6 months to start, but once they got started (July 2022), the build was very fast and efficient (8 weeks total), almost exactly what they quoted us. Communication was great, I have no major complaints. David seemed much more knowledgeable than other builders we met with and spent the time answering all our questions and helping us decide on materials, he was almost always available when I called or called/texted right back. The workmanship of their trades was top notch, we were very happy with every crew that came out to work and they seemed happy to be working with Trendsetter. This is the key to a good builder... keep your trades happy, they are the ones doing the work and I think Trendsetter does that. There were zero delays during the build, and only one unforeseen cost. We absolutely love our pool and the only regret I have is not making the shallow end deeper.
