I'm very happy with Chris and the thorough job he did in assessing our foundation issues. He is a very charming and intelligent guy, and endeared himself to us in the time we spent with him. I would like to have the contract and a basic plan for the next steps after the county has approved the work to be done, and have it printed so I have a paper copy. I'm not very computer/tech savvy so I do like to be able to look at the printed info. in front of me. Thanks for everything. By the way, if Chris doesn't pick up his blue tape soon, I will be picking it up over the next few days. He wanted us to remember he was here, and drank our Coors. (You're very welcome, Chris!)
Had heat pump installed with no issue with the heat pump. Filter pump unexpectedly had water damage with the electrical 1 week after having the heat pump installed. Quoted $900 more than Pinch a Penny for a replacement. Technician joked he should charge more based on the way our house looked. Expressed concern with the company afterwards and no offer to make the situation right other than they might price match after seeing Pinch a Penny's Quote.
I had this company over twice, the first time to troubleshoot why my breakers kept tripping, they came out, inspected everything, told me my pump was bad, so I purchased a new pump, installed it and had them come back out to label my pipes and valves, increase the pool pressure and fix the skimmer issue. My tech was very nice, she's the one that came out both times, showed me what was wrong, and how to use the valves, she was awesome.
I requested an estimate for pool light replacement and installation. I was quoted $ 2380.00. When I asked for a breakdown of parts and labor, I was informed that they don't provide a detailed breakdown of parts, materials and labor. I declined the estimate due to company's lack of transparency. I will not recommend.
I recently hired Professional Aquatic Services to service my pool, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From start to finish, they were reliable, professional, and thorough. Alyssa, the technician was respectful, knowledgeable, and clearly explained the issue, which was a small crack in the pool lid that was preventing proper priming. She fixed the problem without trying to upsell or overcharge me for unnecessary services. It was refreshing to work with a company that was honest and straightforward. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using their services again. Great job!
Nice guy but didn't do anything. Turned unit on, saw that unit started up then compressor started up but shut down after about 20 seconds. Pronounced the unit DOA, collected the $39.00 and left. Then I get an email quote for $7500 to replace the unit. The guy didn't take any cover off and check anything, didn't check that power was going to compressor, didn't check the refrigerant, nothing. Wasted $39.00. I need my unit repaired, don't need a whole new unit.
I recently completed a full restoration and modernization of my swimming pool with Professional Aquatic Services, and the results are absolutely outstanding. From start to finish, the entire team demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship, deep industry knowledge, and a true commitment to delivering a top-tier customer experience. One of the highlights of the project was the (Color Caribbean Blue) pool resurfacing, which completely transformed the look of my pool. The finish is beautiful, clean, and high-quality, exactly what I envisioned and more. What impressed me even further was their consultative approach. They walked me through all the latest technologies available in the pool industry today and helped me choose the perfect combination of equipment—from the Jandy automation system, Poolside Tech controller, new water heater, upgraded salt system, lighting, and complete home pool automation. My pool now runs smarter, cleaner, and far more efficiently than ever. A huge thank you to Tim, Evan, David (the owner), and the rest of the team (whose names I wish I could remember—all of them were excellent). Every single person who worked on the project showed professionalism, attention to detail, and pride in their work. The quality of the restoration speaks for itself. If you’re looking for a company that delivers high-end workmanship, modern pool technology, and honest guidance throughout the entire process, I highly recommend Professional Aquatic Services. They transformed my pool into something truly amazing. THANK YOU! César O. Torres
Technician made it clear that he would only diagnose the pool heater problem which was never in question. It was more of the attitude which was not very customer friendly. He gave me a repair scenario which was totally ridiculous to possibly repair a small line leak. The estimate came back in the thousands. I could replace the unit cheaper than fix a small leak from these guys. Unreal experience.
This redo brought life to a 20 year old pool. Dave's team was amazing from start to finish. They replaced the plaster with pebble finish, remove the 6x6 tiles and installed beautiful iridescent 1x2 glass mosaics to perfection, upgraded the lights to color changing 12V LEDs with a remote and enlarged the spa spillway with a granite slab. The water flows perfectly making a nice sheet of water and sound. Now they are testing the chemicals for a month and even pressure washed the deck. See the before and after photos...simply amazing!!!!
Quoted $460 to replace a stack flue sensor, a part which costs $13 on Amazon and can be easily replaced in less than 10 minutes. Edit - I appreciate the response. I will leave it as an exercise for the reader to look up pricing for stack flue sensors on Amazon and the replacement process on youtube, then come to their own determination if $460 is an appropriate estimate for the parts and labor involved.
My husband and I are so happy with Professional Aquatic Services. We recently had our pool retiled and resurfaced and could not be more happy with the final product. We worked directly with the owner (Dave), who is very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our questions. Not to mention, he is extremely responsive if you needed to reach out to him with any additional questions. Moreover, the quality of work and attention to detail is great. I would also like to note that my husband and I did our homework and got several quotes, and Professional Aquatic Services was very reasonably priced. They offer good quality at a good value and are also both professional and responsive. You could not ask for more.
Shop elsewhere and go with a company that can FULLY install, not just drop an inoperative pool heatpump by the side of your house and leave. Further, the first unit delivered was cracked upon delivery, which we were informed is a common defect in the Built Right heat pump. Second unit delivered had no electrical install, so now we're forced to find an external electrician. When I spoke with the owner, no mention was made about requiring an external electrician. So now, he refers to the fine print expressed within an email quote. Unfortunately we cannot recommend.
