Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish Working with Calypso Pools was an absolute pleasure. From the initial consultation to the final touches, the entire process was smooth, transparent, and stress-free. Their pricing was fair and reasonable right from the start—no haggling needed, which was a refreshing change. They took full responsibility for handling all the permitting, and all I had to do was sign a few documents. Once the permits were approved, the project moved quickly and efficiently. There was minimal downtime, and their crews were extremely well-coordinated. Every stage of construction was completed with a high level of detail and craftsmanship. Communication was excellent throughout. I was always kept in the loop and knew exactly what to expect next. After the pool was completed, they even arranged for a service company to maintain it and ensure everything was functioning properly. Calypso Pools is a first-class company, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a pool. They made the entire experience easy, enjoyable, and delivered an exceptional final product.
Every Day for the last several years I have looked at my pool that you remodeled for me, and have yet enjoyed it or bragged about it. Never had there not been a crack in the walls from the work you have done, and I have yet to enjoy not seeing tile falling from the pool. You replaced the tile once, but did a half ass job and tiled over tile and didn't fix the crack. I have original pictures of pool and work process, and how it looks today if anyone wishes to see them.
After two years of dealing with unprofessional contractors, we found Calypso Pool Co. on Google and gave them a call. Sasha and Sam immediately called us to schedule an appointment to review the property and discuss the design of our pool. They were very attentive and answered all our questions without hesitation. Following our meeting, Sasha sent us the proposal to included the cost of the project and a PowerPoint outlining the steps of the project. The proposed timeline from start to finish was approximately eight weeks, weather permitting. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism and immediately signed the contract to start the project. They started excavating on January 3, 2025 and throughout the construction process Sam and his team kept us updated almost on a weekly basis to include notifying us when inspections were scheduled. During every phase of the construction, each team that came to our home to work on the pool were extremely professional and answered any questions we had. Sam always answered my calls or returned them when we had any questions. Our initial payment for the project was a deposit to get things started on the pool drawings and the application for the permits. We made the additional payments after each phase of the pool construction was completed. They provide you a breakdown of the payments in the proposal. There were no hidden fees that magically appeared after we signed the contract. The pool was completed within six weeks! We highly recommend Calypso Pool Company! Sam, Sasha, Danny, Jay, and the rest of the Calypso Pool family were awesome! Thank you for everything and God bless you guys!
I wanted to give my high praises to Calypso Pools that did a fantastic job and runs seamlessly as a company. We need more contractors that work like they do in Miami. They were highly recommended by our trusted friends so we went with them and I’m so glad we did. With any company, it’s all about the team and their willingness to work and get the job done right. They had an experienced and knowledgeable team that knew every step of the process. Sasha was excellent at explaining what to expect and communicating the process. Once the construction began, Sam who was the contractor on sight overseeing the entire project was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was always available, incredibly knowledgeable and easy communication. I felt like I was working with a family member who was always looking after my interest. The administrative office was well managed and no mistakes in calculations from start to finish. We are very happy with our experience, and more importantly, beyond satisfied about our beautiful brand new sparkling pool! Hands down recommend Calypso Pool to anyone who is considering their options.
I haven't started my pool project yet but talking to someone like Gladys even just through emails makes you want to sign up with Calypso. She seems very knowledgeable at what she does and she's really up front with everything. If I decide to build my dream pool with them, I just hope the experience will be similar with all the other happy and satisfied customers. Regardless, I'm pretty sure I will be back to post my review.
. I was impressed by Sales (Gladys), workmanship, construction, customer service (Michael) and my pool finished on time.

Calypso Pool Company of Miami: licensed since 2001, 4.8 on Google from 250 reviews and 5.0 on Yelp, above the Florida average, with no recurring complaint.
Calypso Pool Company builds pools out of 7400 NW 7 St in Miami, Miami-Dade County. Florida has held their contractor license, CPC057334, since October 2001 and it is current — a quarter of a century of unbroken certification, which on this list is the exception rather than the rule. They call themselves family-owned, and that is their own description: ownership structure is not something the public record settles either way. Their domain has been registered since 2004, so the business behind the license has been visible online almost as long as it has been licensed.
New pool construction is the core of it, alongside spas and hot tubs and the outdoor living work that tends to come with them — decking, surrounds, the space around the water rather than only the water. The site sets these out as a group rather than giving each one its own page, so the depth behind each line is not something their website settles. If you want to know whether a particular job is their usual work or a stretch, the twenty-four project photographs they publish will tell you more than the service list does, and a phone call will tell you more still.
Miami, and Miami is the only place they publish a page for. Read that as greater Miami-Dade rather than a documented service area — the reach is almost certainly wider than the one page suggests, but the page is the only part of it they have committed to in writing. They keep weekday hours and are closed at weekends, which is worth knowing before planning a Saturday site visit. Their most recent activity shows this summer, so this is a going concern rather than a license with a dormant website attached.
This is the strongest reputation on our list so far, and it is worth being plain about it. Google has them at 4.8 from 250 reviews and Yelp at 5.0 from 25, which combines to 4.82 across 275 — against a Florida average of 4.52 for the builders we hold. Two hundred and fifty reviews is a real volume: at that size a 4.8 is a settled pattern, not a handful of happy neighbours, and the two platforms agreeing to within a couple of tenths means there is no bad room hiding behind a good one. The praise is specific and repeated rather than vague: twenty-one separate customers name their professionalism, twelve the quality of the build, eight their keeping to schedule, and three mention them coming back after the job was finished, which is the one nobody says unless it happened. Across all 275 reviews no complaint theme reaches the floor of two customers raising the same thing — we found nothing to warn you about, which is rarer than a high score. Two things do rest on their word alone: being family-owned, and being the premier or number-one choice. The rating supports the reputation; a ranking is not something anyone can hold on the record, so treat that phrase as advertising and the 4.8 as the fact.

Their contractor license, CPC057334, was issued in October 2001 and is current — about twenty-five years.
Google sits at 4.8 across 250 reviews and Yelp at 5.0 across 25, which is comfortably above the 4.52 Florida average we hold. The praise repeats on specific things rather than generalities: twenty-one customers name their professionalism, twelve the build quality, eight their keeping to schedule. No complaint theme was raised by two or more customers, so there is no recurring problem to flag.
Family-owned is their own description and we cannot confirm or contradict it — ownership is not a matter of public record. The claim to be premier or number one is marketing rather than fact; no builder can hold a ranking on the record. What the record does support is the rating: 4.8 from 250 reviews is genuinely strong.
They work out of Miami and publish a page for Miami only, so greater Miami-Dade is the sensible assumption. The practical reach is likely wider than that single page implies, but anything outside the county is worth a phone call rather than an assumption.
Spas and hot tubs, and outdoor living work around the pool — decking and surrounds. These are listed as a group rather than each having its own page, so the twenty-four project photographs they publish are the better guide to what their finished work actually looks like.
